- Some poster frames are so poorly designed that they just don't work... as is the case with these ones here. Too bad it took me an hour to notice.
Facilities Maintenance = Roofing; Plumbing; Electrical; Fabrication; Drywall; Painting (even RV repairs in my downtime) - we cover it all on this channel!
Hi there, my name is Arne and if you're new to the channel, in addition to various home DIY projects, I look after the facilities maintenance end of things at a multi-campus K-12 school (plus a Preschool & Daycare) in Langley, BC. With nearly 1300 students, 200 staff, 5 campus' and various other outbuildings, there's always something to do.
I love my job; not only does the work I do benefit many, every day brings new challenges, which keeps me on my toes and in problem-solving mode.
Stay safe and be kind to one another!
Situations like that happen to me quite often.
Chalk it up as a learning experience. Thanks for watching.
Was hoping you were not going to make a mis-step and end with 1 foot in the sink and the other up in air ! Hope you feel better soon, as well. There is a way to achieve that type of frame, but if you don't have the proper means, it would have to wait. Don't see this as a "failure", though ! 😉
Why not a wall anchor with a long screw in it?
Because the downward force, 1” away from the wall on a drywall anchor, would eventually cause the anchor to fail. Thanks for watching!
@@facilitiesmaintenancebyarne Single or double planking? I'm living in a mostly double planked residential building and you could get away with just a drywall screw in that case but with an anchor, there is no way it would ever fail from a picture.
I have worked at a place where administration would prefer you to take care of the employees instead of the building. 🤷🏻♂️. Thanks for sharing. Hope you feel better soon.
Ya, it can be a bit of a balancing act at times, lol. Thanks for watching!
