Been working in hardwood flooring since I was 16, now Im 20 & now I am part of a 2 man team for my company (edger, scraper, etc) but this is some of the hardest work when it comes down to construction. That edger will kill your back & the scrapping will kill your knees😂 Good video all the way from Chicago, IL 🙏🏽
That's true brother, people don't know how hard it is! Man sometimes I don't know if the edger is my friend or my enemy lol Thank you so much for your comment, God bless you 🤜💥🤛
That color is FIRE!! You boys are very talented, all that hard work and skill pays off. I was just envisioning the faces of the family who sees that home!
Nice! Those floors look beautiful. What grit sandpaper was on the buffer prior to the staining and was it with a screen or multidisc? I need to refinish my floors, planning on ending with 100 grit on drum and edger. Thank you
That Job we did the woods installation and the sanding! So we gave to the client a better price! But you can get it sanded like that for something around $2 per square feet, (it depends of the woods, how big the job is, how many coats on, etc)
@@majesticfloorsnj5417 You got skills brother! Keep it coming! Thanks, i will be attempting to sand my 2 story in March. I am watching and learning until then. If you wanna fly out and lend some of your expertise I got you on the travel expenses. Also planning to upgrade all baseboards.
@@tajdidajman4889 semi gloss is pretty good too, but more shine you put on the floor it becomes harder to clean and show the scratches easier, the high gloos would make a big difference, but semi gloss is super fine

Was this all done in one day?
Where did you get that paper cutter for edger discs?
Very good Bro !
Thank you so much brother
What kind of sheen was your paint finish? And what machine is that that you used to apply the stain?
That was shining because was wet but it was satin finish (no shine), in this videos we applied the stain with brushes and mups

Thank you! Multidiscs, 100 for edger, 80 for big machine, 100 screen or 100 disc sandpaper for buffer, God bless you
How do you stain hardwood floors without sanding?
It HAS to be sanded before stain, the stain needs to get IN the wood, unless you are applying a coat and mix stain with it, but it’s not the same
so you dont wipe the excess stain off?
Yes we dry with that mop you saw in the video
Very nice results! How long does it last before needing to be done again?
Depending how you take caro of the floor and the high traffic! But around 15 years
@@majesticfloorsnj5417 Thank you! Can this be done on laminate flooring or only laminate wood and hardwood flooring?
@@mooki33 only hardwood floors, not laminate
how much does a job like this cost around?
Hey brother, it all depends of the Job, how big is the house, how many coats, etc etc, so that's a lot of variation, sometimes less than $2 per foot
Top!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank paty
Thanks patricia!
Thank you so much
🙏
How much do you guys charge for this?
Are you in NJ? Text me and don’t forget to say you came from RUclips I’ll definitely give you a good price
Ameeeiiiii o resultado!!
Obrigado cunhada!!
It makes it extremely hard to learn with the music playing in the background. And the music is too loud.
👍
You guys need some quality respirators.
We definitely need it
Need to invest more on equipment. Jobsites will be cleaner, and minimize edger usage :)
Thank you so much 💓

what sheen
That's a "SATIN" finish (no shine)
@@majesticfloorsnj5417 thanks, what do you think about semi gloss vs satin?
