Excellent review. Clearly narrated and really appreciate the attention to detail. I look for YT reviews of products so that I can get as clear idea as possible of how the product feels and functions. This is just what I got. Keep 'em coming as I'm confident your channel will become a great success.
I purchased these Speakers, and paired them with my Dell Desktop Computer; couldn't be happier. Not only do they look nice together, but they sound amazing. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I have them they are pathetic. Only good for RUclips. You can't enjoy music or movies with them. They are slightly better than in monitor speakers. No comparison with proper bookshelf speakers and a decent Yamaha amp.
Please explain the difference between high gain and low gain. I could not understand the difference because my English is not very good, but my question is specifically when the sound is not at a high level, does it make a difference when the gain is high and low, or does it only make a difference when the sound is at a high level?

I added them to basket, then went searching videos to see if music can be streamed through type-C. So answer is NO and You just saved my day and money.
Question my monitor has a usb c port but doesn’t have a headphone jack. If I plug in the usb c port on the monitor and I plug the headphone jack on the side of my mother board, will this work?
Здарова Петро! Compare with V1 model, very interesting to understand the difference. It's a pity that the review is not in Russian, nothing is clear) Good luck and thank you for such a detailed review!
Why not design it to get power from the mains rather than usb? Then you wouldn't get all the problems with cutting out & distortion. Like my Logitech Z130s. Also, my logitechs don't take up a USB port on my computer.
I just got the Pebble v2 and I'm disappointed. Unless you are actually broke and need speakers asap just save up and get the Edifier R1280DB. It's not worth it to buy budget speakers period.
@@GeekStreet Ive had many thirty quid speakers over the years, the previous version of the logitech 2.1 served me well for ten years. (i have the newest version of that in my office) Granted its not powered by the USB and it has a sub, but I think the idea of good quality, portable USB powered computer speakers that dont have issues with cutting out, distortion and sibilance are a mirage, with the way technology is at the moment. These will be ok at low volumes, but they really started to hurt my ears after about 20 percent volume, especially when listening to spoken word/news/podcasts. I would go as far as to say I prefer my laptop speakers on my Huawei notebook, which although lacking in bass they have a nice simulated surround sound and i find them a lot more listenable than these pebbles.
They are shit speakers. Just bought them now. Bought them because my BENQ monitor speakers started failing after 10 years. This creative pebble sound like the worst thing you can imagine. Like a $5 toy. The only good thing is that they are small and cheap.
By far the most usefully informative review of the V2s I've found on RUclips, and I've watched a few. Thanks very much.

Awesome review. Very useful even in 2022. Keep up the good work!

I liked ;)
Great small form factor and price. I wish they were blue tooth with no wires though, but for the price not bad.
Yes with a bluetooth option it would have been great!
The v3 have bluetootj
@@DoubbleDdragon I've just seen, Nice!
v3 is now bluetooth i have a set
but still has wires connecting them and for power
Decibel reading should be at 12 inches or 30cm from the Speaker.
Mmmm interesting, not heard the before. I'll keep in mind for future videos.
@@GeekStreet Traditional Speakers should be set at 1 meter away ...
@@GeekStreet 1 meter away from the speaker cone with a 1KHz test tone at 0dB :)

I was surprised by that too
The next gen V3 use the type-c cable for streaming plus Bluetooth 5.0. However, they removed the 3.5mm aux.
nice new intro! well done!
I'm glad you like it
@@GeekStreet :)
Can you connect them to monitor with only 3.5mm jack ?
Yes if the monitor has a audio out jack.
@@GeekStreet thanks a lot

"crystal clear" lol. Don't mind the clipping
Can my audio interface fit with these speakers?
Yes

Can you connect them to a monitor?
Yes via the 3.5mm jack
@@GeekStreet but how will they be powered? Can the monitor's usb power it?
@@DiogoChannels yes monitor usb or usb powered point.
@@GeekStreet Thank you very much!
@@DiogoChannels You're welcome.
for me it is (realtek R) and wont come out the left?????
Same, have you found a solution??
if you don't have type c and there is no reason to buy v2 because if you connect it with the adaptor you will get the same current as on usb2
is it like that for sure?
It is not what you think....
You will get the same output from usb type c and with the usb adaptor provided
Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 oR Logitech Z333 2.1 pls ?? PC use.

maybe they can be used with a phone charger from the socket
Z130 is a different price segment... It is more than 3 times the price of creative v2 here in India.
Skip to 12:06 & leave before 12:50 - Saved you 12 minutes of your time. Thank me later!
I got mine a bit ago the sound is good except the right speaker doesn’t have any sound
Must be faulty
