How to Make a Meat Tenderizer Mallet

  • I gathered up some wood from the wine barrel wood scrap bin to make a meat mallet. After figuring out how make the pointed tenderizing side , I noticed that the oak wood was just too brittle and the points were braking off . So I switched to some Hard Maple for the mallet faces. Which turn out working better and I think looking better ..... Thanks for watching.

    Thor has nothing on the MUZ. Showing the wrong wood for application and the fix very helpful. The splines look awesome. Great build and instruction!!
