Thanks for the review. Research on a chair has been super frustrating. Most reviews are either from sellers, or are just manufacturer promo vids, instead of from owners of any particular chair. Blows my mind that, for the price, the user interface features and ergonomics are so lacking. Can't believe that there's not at least 2 "body scanning" saveable presets, and a smaller, if more basic remote that would allow you to keep your arm in the airbag. More advanced control features should be through an app on your phone. Who would complain about that? (don't answer, I know - the vocal minority) What I would love is a "feature chart" form Osaki showing all the features of each model. Number of programs, roller and track specs, airbag number and placement, airbag articulation, heating placement and type, etc. In your research, did u find anything like this, or just weed through the promo vid hyperbole? Also, a big sell for me with the Maestro and Emperor are the side airbags on the feet that give u a kneading, or at least stabilizing sensation vs just rolling the bottom of the feet. Unlike those, the Paragon has heating in feet area. Does the Paragon have side feet airbags? Articulating? and is the heating factor noticeable? Sorry for the long-winded questions. Thanks

@@ThatGuyReviews Thanks for the response. After speaking to Osaki, the big difference between this and the Maestro, is being able to adjust intensity during a program vs having to go to "manual" with the Paragon. I really want the heated feet (Paragon) but also want the adjusting features of the Maestro. Damn. While I hope its a good Series, as an M's fan, gotta pull for Philly in this one!

Inada Dreamwave vs. Paragon? Someone near me is selling a 2016 Inada for $2000. Like to have new but can’t afford a new Inada. Is Paragon comparable?
Also - any updates on how you’re enjoying and some video of the chair in action would be really helpful. With a person or without.

Hi Ron! Thanks for stopping by. Before settling with the Paragon, I looked at quite a few chairs if interested read more here: www.thatguyreviews.com/osaki-pro-os-4d-paragon-massage-chair-review-in-depth/
I have been using the Paragon massage chair almost every day since. I truly feel that it has been one of the best investment I've ever made. I am more mobile and I have seen improvement in my mood. I have never owned the Inada, so I cannot say for sure, but the Paragon has 4D rollers, heated and all the features a $10,000 chair will have for nearly half the price.

Looking for a good Lower Back and Hip Pain and Massage Chairs. A chair that will twist and rotate my hip and move my back a bit. Perhaps help pop it.
Would you suggest this chair for me?

    I am 5' 11"
    I am 270 lbs
My Shoulders are about 24/25 inches across. Fairly muscular, and beer belly.
Or do you think it would be a bit small for me?

    • @ThatGuyReviews
      @ThatGuyReviews  4 года назад

@George Flensburg - that's a tough question without physically seeing yourself in one. I'll answer it in a different way and hopefully that'll help.
It's 32" from waist to top of head, so from your waist to the top of your head. At a relaxed position (airbags open), the chair is about 20" wide. But the bags can be pushed out a little further out. I am 22-23" inches wide and the chair fits fine. The massage chair does a very good job squeezing my shoulders and arms together.
I have had people up to 6' use the chair without an issue.
So from this, I hope it helps. Sorry I couldnt offer much more assistance.

Hi Rachel! I have not tried the Pro Admiral, but the Paragon is a great chair. I have owned it for 6 months now and use it so much that I've gotten my return on what I've spent on it already. The Auto-program for the Paragon does have quite a few that has airbags in the program. My favorites include the Calm, Relaxing and Revive. The airbags sound is what you'd expect for any airbags to inflate. The question you're probably going after is how loud is the chair? The chair is loud if you are not use to having a massage chair around. But It's a little quieter than what I'm use to and doesn't bother me one bit, especially while sitting in it. Hope this helps!

@@rachel7550 - I was faced with the same problem when I was shopping around for massage chairs. The dilemma is you're forking over all this money for something you can't try...and it's not like it's something easily returnable due to its size and weight. I did as much research as I could including watching video reviews. :)
If I could improve something on this chair, I would say the remote should be backlit, which can be helpful in the dark. Secondly the Stretching feature can do a more full twist. It's dependent on the two side airbags which is near the hips; once expanded, it forces your body to turn. Otherwise, the stretch is great since it puts your body in an almost bridge position and then pulls your ankles and legs so you can definitely feel it at the lower back and hip area. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. It's a great massage chair overall.

@@AngP1234 I would go based off what I see with my mom (70's) and my wife - who both feel like the chair can be a bit rough even at the lowest settings. They do enjoy the shiatsu program which is less intense and there's a soft program as well. I personally feel the calf and feet massages can be intense so wearing sweat pants and socks helps so the leather doesn't rub against your skin too much. I just saw that Amazon has it for $3,999 which is a bargin, the chair is often listed around $5,999...so hopefully you were able to take advantage of that.
