Interesting story, Jack Nicholson was given the rights to the movie as compensation for a failed project with MGM. He held it for 3 decades and Sony released it after digitally converting it. I am guessing Jack wants it in the public domain, as it's here? If thats the case, kudos to Jack! for Wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Passenger_(1975_film) Despite is more popular movies, Nicholson's career heyday of cool was really in the late 70's. As with Antonioni movies, watch it and don't rely much on dialogue for the plot.
Not late ‘70’s, but early-mid ’70’s. Five Easy Pieces (‘70), Carnal Knowledge (‘71), The Last Detail (‘73), Chinatown (‘74), The Passenger (‘75) , One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (‘75).
The saddest and most beautiful films ever made.
Fantastic Jack in a fantastic Ponti movie. Really a pleasure to watch! ❤❤❤❤
Ponti produced. Michelangelo Antonioni directed. So he's the hands-on person who called all the shots. And who made the movie what it is.
My favourite movie of all time
This is one of my favorites.
Thank you for the posting of this "Great" film. It's also one of my favorite Antonioni and Nicholson's movies. 🤩
Incredible film on existentialism
Thank you for your wonderful understanding! ❤❤❤
I like how the director shows and does not tell
❤❤❤❤
Estamos aguardando a legenda em português... Forte abraço!
Cool Flick 😎🙏
Plz upload carnal knowledge
