It is watches like these, that are so simple and minimalist, so true to their origins, and so damn affordable that are the true classics. And wow not even made in China but made in the Philippines including the mechanism!
Mk1...sounds like a goddamn rifle..lol..Yeah its a good durable fieldwatch...I have one meself..love the dome acrylic crystal..love the vintage military watch..thats a good one.
Yeah I bought the white one today it has a nice strap NATO with two white stripes running the entire length to match the white dial. I’m wondering why people call it the MK1 because I cannot see that designation anywhere on the tags from tjmax. Also apparently it’s called the Macgyver watch because Richard Dean Anderson wore one on that series in the late 1980s

It’s a nice watch! I like it! I’ll probably destroy the Crystal in a matter of days, but I love the look of it
The good thing about these types is they are very easy to buff out. Watches served in hard use for decades before sapphire was common use.
