I'm a believer and believe that time and space can transcend our understanding of God, in saying that, it's unreasonable to think that we are God's only creation, or this is the only earth. If He has been in existence for all eternity, trillions of years and beyond, then we must assume He wasn't twiddling his thumbs for all of that time doing nothing. I personally believe that the earth could have been in existence for billions of years before man was created, but let's say he created it only 6000 years ago as some believe, What was he doing for the trillions of years before that time? "A day with God is as a thousand years." I suspect there is life on other planets, other earths that we cannot see that are beyond our reach. When God said, "In the beginning...." he could have easily meant in the beginning of this particular earth, not beyond what we can't see. The Bible also says that the eye has not seen the things that God has planned for us. I have a feeling it may involve other earths and all sorts of things that we can't possibly imagine.
