The book says in transferred men’s in writings, that there will be seven deadly sins, where Blaspheme of the Hypocrites,Pharisees, and Sadducees will open and close the death books.
God is merciful and loves us but He is also just and cannot abide sin. Love righteousness, hate sin and you will draw near to the Rock of Ages.

God does love all souls equally; however he does have his favorites. The Bible bears this out. Peter, James and John, went with Jesus into places the other 9 disciples didn’t go. David had God’s favor. There is a reason people obtain God’s favor.

I think King David went through such a trial. God forgave him. I don't know if the mark was removed, but the Law of Repentance is very powerful.
