    I'd like to request a topic for the next video. Please showcase how Accessible the Everblock can make building projects. Show off the Wiring compatibility, Show off the Supports and technical stuff. This product can let a business build custom displays for products, rearrange those elements freely, and put them away or transform them as desired, all without the need of hiring a specialist. Show folk how Everblock can let a Layman become an Artisan.

    Lego bricks made with expanded polystyrene to make them relatively lightweight, but strong and energy efficient. Now, make a kit with these for building a home. Perhaps put holes where rebar rods can be inserted and sealed with concrete or shotcrete for strength. Perhaps seal the outside also with shotcrete for strength. Make these Lego bricks amenable to geometric shaped structures of all kinds. Eco friendly, sustainable, strong, energy efficient, economical and possible for the average person to construct themselves or with minimal help and/or materials. Lego type building systems like this can be used in many different ways for indoor and outdoor applications.

    In the video, the blocks don't extend right up to the ceiling. So noise can enter through the gap. Also, as the blocks have fixed dimensions, they won't extend horizontally right to the other end. How to fill these gaps - the top and side? (to achieve complete privacy)

    • @Everblocksystemsblocks
      @Everblocksystemsblocks  4 года назад

      We always recommend that clients leave a 1ft gap in between the top of their EverBlock wall and the ceiling for fire safety reasons, but you are welcome to build as high as you would like. The blocks are designed to offer the muffling of low level noise and are not designed to be 100% soundproof.

    • @Everblocksystemsblocks
      @Everblocksystemsblocks  5 лет назад +9

      The blocks have 3" air chambers within them which capture low level sound and noise. They do a great job at sound dampening, but are not meant to be 100% soundproof.

    I wonder if they’ve heard from lawyers from Legos? Ha ha ha. What I would like to see done with this resource is to have clear blocks to create more light, and to have certain blocks that you could purchase where both sides of the block would open up with a little door That you could then slide underneath. If both sides were open you would be able to see through to the other room. Or with one side open only you could create shelving. Another idea would be to have the doo and reveal storage for clothes, socks, books and so forth. There should also be oh block that has wheels on the bottom of it, and the wheels would have locks on them and be made out of appropriate soft rubber material. In this way you could move the wall! It would be important to place the wheels so they would be parallel with the short side of the block so that you could move the whole wall forward and backwards. The most important thing you can do with room dividers is to be able to literally change the size, shape, and use of the room. These are pretty cool but I wonder what they’re made ofr on the side of the block and it would open up

    Can you "lean" on it without it all tumbling down as a wall??? Also, can't have anything "hot" next to it (apartment heaters, candles, etc...) right? I think this is both fun and useful conceptually.

    • @Everblocksystemsblocks
      @Everblocksystemsblocks  4 года назад +5

      When we design walls we always incorporate side columns into the design, this adds tremendous stability. The wall will not fall if someone leans on it, runs into it, or is throw into it =). The blocks have been fully fire tested and yes, you can keep them near candles or heaters and they will not melt or combust.

    • @Everblocksystemsblocks

      @mediamaniax. 7 лет назад +4

      NathanGuitar Thars expensive to you? Do you know how much a heavy duty wall divider costs? It's just about the same price and looks like shit and usually a lot more flimsy. This is a fair price. You just built a wall with out damaging the interior. Sounds amazing to me. Great idea for a 1 bedroom unit and if you want to share some space for a roommate.

    • @riotsquirrl
      @riotsquirrl 7 лет назад +2

      What I'm finding appealing is the ability to reconfigure the wall easily as I'm considering using them to divide a large room into two smaller ones. My husband is a CAD engineer, so we have a good start on planning, but being able to fix mistakes would be a much better thing still.

    • @Everblocksystemsblocks
      @Everblocksystemsblocks  7 лет назад +1

      We have assisted hundreds of divider walls for this exact purpose! When building a wall we recommend adding 2 side columns to each side, this adds much stability to the wall. You will also want to stagger the blocks when building (similar to a brick wall), which also adds strength. Or, you can simply screw the wall to another wall/floor with an L-bracket. Please feel free to email us at sales@everblocksystems.com if we can help with a specific design =)

    why is it so expensive?

      The plastic and color pigment itself is quite expensive and each block has 2lbs of plastic. Also, the block is quite complicated and takes a long time to mold and that really affects cost. Its a quality product and the price is quite fair for what you get.

      fair is not good marketing, it has to be tempting, you gotta give this project a kicker, like salt and pepper, you need to expand your crowd vision, you're targeting fancy offices, those people won't buy your grown up toys, it makes their clients take them less serious, change your vision.

      Thanks for the comments. We understand that this is not for everyone and is a high end option. We are overwhelmed with orders and candidly are just barely keeping up. Perhaps in time we can get the price point down but the reality of the size, durability, and structure makes it impossible unless we were to introduce a cheapo version, and we really don't want to do that.

      EverBlock when do you think you'll make a cheaper version?

      It would have to be much lighter weight and less structure but maybe....
