This car is not collectable where i live and it's also a very poor quality vehicle. The majority of those were taken to the scrapyard, others are sitting in the people's backyards waiting to be thrown away. I also wanted something that would run on electric current, that's why i converted it to EV. It's value is also increased thanks to this conversion.

Dacia 500 Lăstun este un autoturismromânesc de mici dimensiuni, fabricat între anii 1988 și 1991 la Timișoara. Denumirea acestuia provine de la numele păsării "lăstun". Producția a avut loc la fosta uzină Tehnometaldin Timișoara, devenită ulterior Întreprinderea de Autoturisme Timișoara, iar primul lot de autoturisme a fost pus în vânzare în ianuarie 1989

I have always had a soft spot for Eastern European Cars and have a couple of books on the subject. I must admit it does look shockingly well made but that little twin cylinder engine does actually sound quite sweet even if the exhaust is blowing a bit :) Anyway have a subscription!
I'm with the camera and my dad is driving. The low quality job the builders did can be seen when driving it and at most of the gaps on the bodywork. For ex, the car has only around 19000 miles and already, the shocks are gone and it also needed a new clutch disk. We bought it about 14 years ago, it wasn't new, and paid 200$ for it :D. Should really keep her original: with such a small engine she is eco friendly enough. There also cannot be too many of these around.

Nas face unei dacii 500 1. Pentru ca nu se merita mai ales dacă e dayli drive păcat ca acest model este extrem de rar ca as fi avut și eu unul
