Do you have a video on how to clean soap scum off your new bathtub and what kind of soap is good for the skin to use as mine has palm oil in it and turns everything white even though my tub is white. I love you so much
So helpful. I cannot find the free printable. The mop you guys do is amazing! Never mind. It gets emailed to you when you subscribe. Thank you! I was literally like, this should be in a cute frame in the laundry, and then I noticed the printable and you said it. 😆
I never gave much thought to these symbols on labels, it all goes in the washing machine on cold 😅 Thanks, Melissa, for the informative video, was a pleasure to watch.

That's true. Its really needful for beginners not to settle for videos alone or they will see themselves losing all their money just like me when I newly started trading with this videos here on RUclips
I leave them on unless they are causing irritation. I don't always go by what the tag says though. Depending on what it is, I rarely hand wash things even if the label instructs it. I have also washed dry clean only things. My go-to for everything is cold water wash, low heat dry. I do hang dry a lot of things.
8:46 - On the contrary, this is fascinating! At least to me… I always wondered what those doodles meant. It’s a good thing I’m at work, or I’d be re-sorting my closet according to wash/dry care. I still might, just to see….. 😁 👍🏼
In Germany 🇩🇪 The majority of people only use their dryer for towels, bedding or things that are supposed to be washed by 60 degrees (hot). Regular clothing (usually washed using cold or warm cycles / 30-40 degrees) is hang-dried and then - when needed - ironed. It is very easy to make your favourite pieces smaller, they will not be completely “wrinkle-free”, it is better for the environment and your electricity bill and you don’t get those stupid little holes in your favourite pieces
Thank you so much! I have never known how to read those symbols and just looked for English words instead! The only time I cut those off is if they are five inches long or they have as many pages as a novel.
I am the kind of person who cuts off my fabric care label!!! First of all, I hate having that thing tickle me in the side all day. And secondly, I am truly going to wash just about everything in cold water on a normal setting and dry it on a normal setting. I have a few things that I will handle differently, but otherwise I know i am not doing 23 loads of laundry every week so I can get every item washed at its ideal setting. I feel even more justified in this approach now that you told me their recommendations are for the maximum more so than the optimal. I do appreciate this video and learned useful information.. even though I will likely continue to ignore the label :)
Excellent video! Thanks for this one. 👍🏻 I cut off all those "extra" labels behind the care label. Why, oh why do they sew sooo many pieces of paper or fabric in the same point of the seam??? 🙄
If a garment has the symbol to not wring it can you spin it out in the washer? I know the spin cycle can sort of wrong it out but not like doing it by hand.
My mother used spray starch all the time when ironing. Have you ever tried using that? I really appreciate the info. And please tell Todd great job on the graphics!😊
Funny, I just printed a laundry symbol sheet last week. I laminated it and hung it on the laundry room wall. My daughter (4) got a cheap costume with only symbols and I didn't want to have to look it up again next time.
LOL! This is too good and actually interesting. Too bad I cut out all tags as they annoy me! This would make a great addition to a trivia game. Seriously though, it is a very helpful bit of information.
Can’t find printable. I signed up as directed but I did not get a link or any other info on how to get the free printable. I also looked through your store link and it is not there either.
Are all clothing tags supposed to have the symbols? Lately, I’ve seen many tags with written instructions only, which are really hard to read without a magnifier. I typically leave the tags on unless they becoming irritating.
I leave the tags on. I knew the basic categories but all the sub categories are a whole other language. 😮 Most of mine are written in English but one wasn't spelled out so I bought a magnetic sign. Either way I have to get my glasses out to read them. 😮
I cut nearly all my labels off, as I have very sensitive skin. I hate anything that irritates me. I’m not sure if the label symbols in the UK are different than in the US & Canada but I don’t usually see info about using bleach on clothes. Not really popular here. I don’t buy clothes unless they can be tumble dried. Some British people have a thing about putting washing on the line, especially in the summer. Not me, I use my tumble dryer all through the year. I buy my clothes etc from M&S, as they are great quality & can be tumble dried.
I have never seen something which is supposed to be washed by max. 50 degrees Celsius - it is usually 60 degrees That is at least standard in Germany 🇩🇪
Need to add CHECK YOUR POCKETS! 😂 Oh the devastation a rogue tissue can bring. How about a stain removal printable with symbols for the offending stain next? I'm always referring back to videos in a panic 😂

Super helpful for us. So, thank you! Love your vids. You do a great job. The in-place outtakes were funny!
Thank you Melissa!!! I've been thinking for a while we need a video to tel us about all the symbols!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙌🙌🙌👌
Wow! A lot to remember, but most of what would apply to me is intuitive (dots and lines). GREAT information. Thanks for the chart.

I almost didn't watch this video, thinking I knew it all. I learned some things. Thank you!
Thank you! It feels like trying to translate hieroglyphics when I look at labels.
Thank you so much! I have never known how to read those symbols and just looked for English words instead! The only time I cut those off is if they are five inches long or they have as many pages as a novel.
Very good and hilarious oo. I sometimes cut my tabs if they irritate and always on my washcloths and towels.
What better way to put off doing my own laundry than by watching this? Thanks!
thank you very much for these very useful information
A much needed video. I for one have never been able to work out what all these symbols mean.
I knew some of the symbols but some I’m like well who knows. Thanks for explaining.
Thank you, that’s a lot of info !!!

This is great! Now I just need to decode the cryptic operation options on my washer and dryer.
Unrelated to this video, my daughter recently spilled half a bottle of nail glue on our hardwood floors. What now???😢
Great video, thank you! ❤
Do you have tips for bug repellent a natural way?
WOW I had no idea. Thanks
Excellent video! Thanks for this one. 👍🏻

What is the difference between drip/hang dry and line dry?

I still do not see the email for the free printable. When should it be sent?

Wow, there's even more symbols and meaning than I thought
♡ Great review!
Hello I am wanting to know how to make blouses and tops WHITE AGAIN
Can’t find printable. I signed up as directed but I did not get a link or any other info on how to get the free printable. I also looked through your store link and it is not there either.

Very useful video - I will send it to my teenage boys - thanks! Cutting off all labels by the way :-D
I normally wash everything in the cold cycle, except maybe towels. The "laundering it in Hell" comment had me rolling!
I leave the tags on. I knew the basic categories but all the sub categories are a whole other language. 😮 Most of mine are written in English but one wasn't spelled out so I bought a magnetic sign. Either way I have to get my glasses out to read them. 😮
Hello! I haven’t been by in a while. You look great!!! Hope all is well!!!!
Do you crush down boxes in your videos
I give thought to these symbols but I don’t know what they mean
Did that label at the beginning say "always wash your butt"?! LOL!
Same tags on unless it causes discomfort.
How to hand wash ???
Codie Sanchez and Mellissa Maker are one being. The TMFINR gal on the plane exposed you!
Unless causing discomfort, why remove?
I've always ignored the symbols!

swimwear - remove tags, everything else - leave them unless they cause an issue
hi ur gonna be working for my mom at puppy love and she told me about you so can u tell me how to make good content cus i only have 1.26k subs
Dang!
I leave them on if they don’t bother me but I also don’t follow them
Everyone around the world needs to do laundry, except my brother 🙄
Hi
Washing in hell. 🤣 I mean Satan needs to have clean clothes too right? 😆
Need to add CHECK YOUR POCKETS! 😂 Oh the devastation a rogue tissue can bring. How about a stain removal printable with symbols for the offending stain next? I'm always referring back to videos in a panic 😂
When can we expect another installment of Honey Do List???? We want Chad!
Where were people supposed to learn what these symbols mean before the internet???
"Always wash your butt"?? 😂
I can only read money symbols lmao. $😛$
I thought it was Chinese 🤔
The cuts and animations in this video are so distracting.
