    Finally...Someone who actually plays it..with buckers installed and with 4 strings...but no slide. Ok-it's all good. What amp were you playing thru? Fine..Fine work Sir!!

      Thanks for watching. The amp I used was my Orange Crush 12. It's a great little amps for CBG.

    CB Gitty just keeps rolling out some good kits. Thanks for the demonstration. Now you have an orange top and a red top so to be fair in my neck of the woods, I think you should paint the next top maroon.

      Is that a Houston Astros reference? Ha ha.

      @@musicalmiscellany The burnt orange could represent the Astros. The Aggies don't cheat so I don't mind wearing maroon.

    Wow you are on a roll with making instruments. That's awesome. I am so Happy that this company recognized your talent for doing this !! Yeah ! Sounds cool and since you play guitar you Will fly with this tuning. And not to make you go down another rabbit hole but Chicago tuning is what every baritone ukulele is tuned too as well !! So I got into tenor guitars and started off with CDGA and then found out there are a few different and cool tunings. One of which is DGBE and another which is GDAE which which is like and octave mandolin and I think tenor banjo. Which I think is the CGDA lol

    • @musicalmiscellany
      @musicalmiscellany  3 года назад +1

      So many tunings and so little time. LOL. I really do like this DGBE. As you point out, it's like a baritone uke or - if you put a capo on the 5th fret - it's a tenor uke.

    Hi, you've got a kind of 'scalloped' feature on the neck up around the cowboy chord area. Did you do that or did the kit come with it? Looks cool.

    • @musicalmiscellany
      @musicalmiscellany  3 года назад

      Ah. Good eye. I do that with a rasp. I think it's easier to play when it's not so thick out near the nut. Out of the box, the necks are flat on all sides, no contours at all.

    Great job on the build. It would be great if you could give a small tutorial on that little song you play towards the end. It looks like something I could learn as a beginner and it's a neat catchy tune. Or maybe the tablature. Plzzzzzzzzz & Thank you.

      Thanks for the suggestion. I do CBG tutorials from time to time and this might be a good idea for the next one. I have a playlist of them here: ruclips.net/p/PLwIixlr7C6KXPJNtd6WUculsYimIwVOJ7
