Shane so glad you're back my friend. The Vietnam Vet who has miss so many of your videos and playing with Barre Chord because limited use of left hand and fingers due to injuries in Vietnam. Praise God you're recovering and hope your Family is also ok.
I love the way you finished this one. I agree that it is a really good kit.
The box looks great, nice kit. I love the finishing technique, very cool.
Enjoyed your video the curly maple tech was cool 😎
Just built a CBG using the 6" Hubcap cone. Much tighter and brighter tone than a regular paint can lid.
It making much progress on my first cbg. Slide for me!
Hey Shane, Love the finish on the hubcap howler. I think I'm going to do one but i'm going to run the stripes vertical (like on the Stella" vs. horizontal. I think that will give it more visual "length" and follow the strip patter on the stella much more closely. I'm also thinking of a larger gauge wire to cover more area and spread out the burn. WIsh me luck.
Maybe now i can learn to play like Shane Speal :-)
,
Any way to add a piezo to this kit?
Hey Mr Shane Speal, any chance of getting the freight lower to send items to Australia. AUD (Aussie Dollar) I went to purchase a Slider Kit and a Poor man book. The exchange rate just made it (with the freight) a little too expensive to come to Perth Western Australia. Just asking.
There’s some horrible mail problems between US and Australia right now. (Thanks COVID). The book is 1.5 pounds (.68 KG) heavy, making shipping overseas such a pain. Check your local online bookseller. They may have it, although it won’t be autographed.
I’d love one. But shipping and import charges to the UK are prohibitive, and what the hell, I can make one. Or six. I’ve actually just picked up half a dozen metal hubcaps on eBay, yay!
Shipping rates are insane.
@@ShaneSpeal It's more the import tax - the sooner we do a free trade deal together (US + UK) the better. C'mon, we're best of friends, we should be trading!
Actual paint can lids work too.
@@rodjones117 I know- I’ve built (and sold) a few. There’s a pet food place does a cat bowl that’s ideal for the,- er, dog bowl resonator, and I reckon enamel pie dishes would work too. Those hubcaps are 14” though- pretty big...
@@rodjones117 that will never happen !
Maybe you play like you do. Which is awesome. But so does Del.
