Salaammu alaikum Sheikh, I'm a Muslim and I've been following your lectures for long time. I have confusion with sect issues in Islam. I personally don't belong to any sect, I follow the Quran and Sunna. I would like to know if there was anything like ahlusunna wal jamaa at the time of Prophet( PBUH). And does it make me wrong if I don't brand myself with any sect although I follow Quran and Sunnah???

With great respect for Sheikh YQ, I beg to differ with his justifying words for the extremely sinful, gory, evil, un-islamic acts under the political greed, in a sweeping manner; which is something the Sheikh should avoid, and must call spade a spade, whether it is for politics or power or for individual benefit and gain. May Allah rectify his errors and mistakes, and guide him to state the pure truth. Such slight justifying words can entirely shift the truth at times... may Allah protect him and us from this.
Ameen I admire u choice of words, nonetheless I and quite a lot have not encountered a controversy as u have seen. U are entitled to ur opinion so as shiek let’s not please instill our view as the ethereal Islamic law.
thats already happened! what could be done now ! why to blame with bad words when are not supposed to? Sheikh has taken the defensive stance which is the best way at the moment.. we will not comment and take it as it happened we are not judge here

There are a lot of Hadiths in all Authentic Hadith books and they say different about Hujaj Ibn Yusuf, Hazeed Ibn Muawiya etc and other incidents happened during that time period. History books are sponsored by the tyrant kings of Banu Ummaya and Abbas so a lot have been added. Please correct this or provide authentic reference so that we can cross check it. Thanks.
