@Social Media 1 Still salty about that huh? Yes let's all adopt the culture of marrying and having children with our mothers:
" Zoroastrian religious tracts actively encourage nuclear family incest and extol its meritorious nature and supernatural benefits. "
      www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S016230959600074X
Also getting away from the Persian nationalism scene, the reason this is even a modern issue is because of Iran's extremism in telling Persians to worship 12 Arabs as opposed to Allah alone. Notice this was never a big issue among Persians (who many were heavy hitter scholars) in over 1,000 years before Shiism (especially under the Ayatollahs) took over.

He’s always been a fascinating figure through his successful vengeance of Karbala. I have found that many Islamic tv shows or even lectures I’ve heard kind of skip over him and don’t go into much detail.

    JazakhAllah khair; another interesting topic.
In these times of confusion, interesting subjects, that will have widespread appeal, and which will eradicate wrong ideas, may include:
A discussion on the theological basis of establishment of Islamic states (not so-called “Islamic State”, i.e. IS), and the historical discussions on the necessity or otherwise of establishing Islamic polities.
Scholarly approaches to the nature of “jihad” in our modern world, especially as relevant to us in the West, in view of the perceived perpetuity of this activity

Wslm jzk khair Sh. This was most informative. Teaching a class on the ummayad dynasty currently and this information is highly appreciated by myself and the class. May Allah bless you and your family and keep you in the service of deen ameen.
As for a suggestion for future talks. As a lover of history I find we are very focused on early Islamic history. Not much focus is given to the last few centuries which helps us to really understand the current world we live in. For example how a small island like England ended up ruling and shaping the modern world and its impact on Muslim lands .
I always find it very interesting that the start of colonialism coincides with the fall of Al Andalus 1492. If I'm not mistaken Christopher Columbus's letter to Queen Izabella of Spain ( thanking her for the ships which would take him to America) praises her for what she did against the "Moores". He also mentions his intent to continue her work against the "infidels "via his voyages.
Point being, its very interesting how European power tied their successes to the decline of Muslim power and really paved the way for Europe to dominate the globe. Just a thought
    Jzk khair wslm

Please inshallah do more Library chats on each of the main Sunni (including Sufism and its main Tariqahs) & Shia sects of the past that have left a theological impact in to days Muslims.
Also, please do some talks on the individual Sunni and Shia fiqh madhabs present and most relevant extinct ones. Development, many fiqh usul etc.
    many.
Lastly, bring the above points full circle by talking about how the main Shia and Sunni fiqh madhabs connect the main Sunni and Shia sub sects. For example, Hanafis and Maturidiyyah or Hanbalis and Athariyyah (Salafiyyah) etc.
This would give you so many topics, historical and theological, plus some fiqhi points to cover in a series of videos. These videos could all be put together a series inshallah.

If you have transparent or very light yellow colour urine it means you are well hydrated. And keep this colour always.but if you are already hydrated and drinking excess water it will flush out ELECTRODES (ION FLUIDS) from body which is not Good for health.

Have gone through similar transition on my views on salafism and even had romantic idea of a caliphate solving all our problems during my youth. Its true more knowledge does humble you and really appreciate you sharing with us these important Islamic events so we may get snap insight of how things were back then. Trials of this world did not leave our Prophets family and his companions and it all started with Adam. Such is the brutal truth, jannah is only in jannah but we can strive have peace as much as we can on Earth.

The groups calling for Khilafah don't say it will be a utopia.
Just as a non-Muslim accepting Islam does not guarantee that all his problems will end, yet we give da'wah to them and we highlight the positives and the wisdoms of Allah's religion, because we know it is an obligation.
Similarly a democratic, capitalist, secular nation-state going through a revolution and establishing the Khilafah does not guarantee that all of its problems will end, yet we give da'wah to the people in the lands and we highlight the positives and wisdoms of social, political and economic systems revealed by Allah, because we know it is an obligation.
An obligation for Muslims to establish a state that takes none other than Islam as its basis of legislation.

    • @munzirzafar3857
      @munzirzafar3857 4 года назад +1

Suppose the sheikh knows the story of a recent convert who was indulged in sin and his life was a mess. He narrates that story to people and he starts mocking da'wah carriers that they give the picture of a utopia to non-muslims, even though reverts have all these problems.
      How irresponsible will that be!
This rant about "Khilafah is not a utopia" is equally irresponsible.

salam dr yasir, this is dr qureshi here. live in pakistan and having spent 18 years in emiraat. great fan of yours. MASHA ALLAHA TABARAK ALLAK. doing a great job. i would request you to talk about house mortgage. having listened to your interaction with 2 guys , one medical doctor of yameni origin and other indian oxford scholar. i wish you to give your opinion about taking loan for bank for house or other utilities. other issue is investing in government of pakistan securities. like national saving. those who has not business or job , have no other choice except to deposit their life time savings to put in national saving schemes for monthly income. local ulema have various opinons and they differ with each other and not considered authentic or pure.
just listened to mukhtar al saqaffi lecture. i request you give us the brief history of the sects in shia islam and their origin. more on history topics.
lastly , give us dars or lecture on arbaieen navavi, 40 hadith. and more on quranic concepts.
it would be great if you give darse quran detailed like dr israr or farhat hashmi in english and urdu also . your urdu is pretty impressive as i heard in one of your interviews
may ALLAH BLESS you with every thing in this dunya abd hereafter, keep it up. and never ever be impressed by your fan following , social media following, as it may leads to some element takabar
this is my first interaction with you. hope to listen from you
