I must say I would rank the alpine coaster higher than the Soarin Eagle zip line. I don’t know, but Soarin Eagle just didn’t do much for me. I think my favorite there thus far has been the Haunted Mine Drop. I hope they find a way to get that ride back open where they idiot proof the operating procedures, where the ride won’t dispatch if not everybody is properly restrained. I have never been on the Cliffhanger because it has always been closed for one reason or another each time I’ve been to the park, and I haven’t been back since they’ve had Defiance yet, so I haven’t been on it, either.
Only thing I've ridden is the alpine coaster (winter visit) but comparing to similar rides I've done (ridden 358 coasters at over 70 parks) I'd say Alpine Coaster #1, Defiance #2, Crystal Tower #3, Screamin Swing #4, Circle Swings #5. Heights don't get my addrenaline going like they should because of the fact that I work in the challenge course industry (ie I'm used to it) but I'm always game for a good view. It just doesn't scare me because I've done it enough times. Note: I do like alpine coasters better than most people, it running was enough of a reason for me to stop through on my cross country move when passing Glenwood Springs. I'm also a natury type so taking a gondola up a mountain for cave tours was also plenty reason to stop by. As for the Glenwood Alpine Coaster, it is my most ridden alpine coaster thanks to the unlimited rides policy. It has the best layout of any alpine coaster I've done, especially love the 6 down and 2 big lateral turns in the finale. Even if they have added autobreaking within the past few years, it has such a good layout the autobreaks can't kill it unless you have a slow rider in front of you. Engineering wise it is tied with Wisp Resort's alpine coaster for my favourite alpine coaster, but due to the unlimited rides policy at Glenwood Caverns it stands alone as my #1 alpine coaster.
Your title at :22 is messed up. I don't know what Gold Coast Australia has to do with this
