Legit 3 years and counting since I first discovered Phil Daru and this channel and aint a single post I haven’t come away with a wealth of knowledge I can utilize and or share. A real testament to his approach and thoroughness in his teaching method. This one couldnt come at a better time, as I’m managing an ankle injury currently(“typical”inversion sprain; MRI read that the peroneal tendon suffered a minor tear) and am about to begin a physical therapy cycle. Needless to say, I’m going to hold the good folks I’m assigned to; to the Phil Daru standard as it relates to treating and rehabilitating this minor setback. Goal one day is to invest in an official personal assessment(if those exist) and get a base line protocol to take with me and build upon. Sincerely grateful for this guy and most all the good people associated with him. Not to mention, have a totally new perspective of Kevin Lee..wishing him all the success in the world MOTOWN Stand Up
Glad to see Kevin being taking care of. I hope he is in a good place in life. He has always had championship potential just a mix of bad luck and needing his head in the right place.
Kevin one or the most entertaining dudes to ever enter the UFC. Excited to continue to follow his career. Man gets hate but people don’t understand how charismatic and dope Kevin lee really is.
I'm from Michigan so first time I heard of him was when all of my friends from the gym were talking about a Michigan guy was making his debut in the UFC. Watched his debut and have been a fan since. It's definitely been a journey. Kinda hope he goes to Bellator in the future so we can get interesting match ups like Lee vs MVP and such
What are you taking about… He did the most scum bag move which is tap and then try to still fight reaching for a single leg when he got knocked out what a joke

While I wasn't a fan of Lee a couple years back I really liked the accountability he showed after the Olivera fight and his progress as a martial artist. Hopefully he fullfills his potential.
Chaos push reminds me of indo boards. Take a deck from a regular concave skateboard and lay it on a 3-4inch pvc pipe. Balance the board for push ups and squats, great for developing balance and proprioception. Terrific cross trainer for board related sports; long, short, concave, wake, snow...
Peace Phil; thank you for the amazing content. Always appreciated. I was wondering if you could develop more content on BJJ training recommended (strength training, mobility work, warm up, etc...even what are the best foods to eat) I am kinda all over the place with my training regiment right now; I am looking to really explore combat sports (eg. Bjj) But I also want to eventually get into other forms of MMA. If you can I am just seeking guidance from a man who has such experience in those areas. Iam in my late 30s and struggle at times to stay on the ball. If you can some guidance would be appreciated 🙏🏾 God bless and with you Phil; your family and your movement. Shalom brother.
Can you make some videos of 10-20 minute mobility for mornings and 10-20 minute full body bodyweight workouts for Monday-Friday for the men that are trying to get it first thing in A.M before work that would be awesome bro! Thanks in advance
Are you serious? He lost to Olivera who’s the champ, lost to Fergusson for the interim belt, and beat Dos Anjos the former champ. Kevin’s had his opportunities and then some.
That's crazy he literally started with no mobility of his toes and then gradually started using all his toes muscles and mobility I was like okay at first but you can see the change of mobility on the feet
What exercises can he do for his chin? Can you retrain his brain from thinking he’s a striker back to being the dominant wrestler who always controlled where the fight went?
Yo Phil always wanted to know if you manage the diet of your trainees at all. Especially the fighters. You train your athletes hard so was wondering if you had any insight on how you go about it. Or do you just let them decide that themselves with a bit of your recommendations
That toe excercise that Phil showed, I’ve done that with a near 90 degree with my big toe up and little toes down with a structural integration specialist. He then asked me, “are you explosive and light on your feet?” “I was like yea” 😂 this was me overweight at 320 pounds earlier this year. Feet were strong due to 10 years of straight boxing and my trainer had us on our toes all the time. The fuck was Kevin Lee doing?
Though he is powerful and skilled fighter, his cardio is almost like an amateur. He should do something like running or swimming with these weight trainings.
I know that dude from somewhere. Didn't he fight a couple times on the prelims in the UFC, hence his nickname Kelvin 'the Motown Prelim' Leandro, or whatever his name is.
That form on the reverse hypers is atrocious with all that swinging withouth any control and an excelent way to destroy your back. Zero muscle activation, too much weight used, too much momentum, excesive hyperextension at the top. Absolutely horrible.
Try to teach him how to fight. Ask him also what happened with his ego?! Did he bring the brain this time, is he still vegetarian and what is going on with his trainer who he says not letting him lift at all?
First he’s completely changed his camp and now working with myself and Sanford MMA so he’s making the steps in the right direction. This guy has absolutely no ego and is a pleasure to work with.

My brother thank you for the support I truly appreciate it and yes whenever your ready come to the gym. Keep progressing and moving forward!!
Glad to see Kevin being taking care of. I hope he is in a good place in life. He has always had championship potential just a mix of bad luck and needing his head in the right place.
Phil is a wizard...love the content
Kevin Lee still out here trying to get better. Terrifying conditioning right there. I gotta give those chaos push ups a shot for a finisher.
Kevin one or the most entertaining dudes to ever enter the UFC. Excited to continue to follow his career. Man gets hate but people don’t understand how charismatic and dope Kevin lee really is.
He’s actually a really good dude

He also said all the dumb shit he actually said. Its recorded lol

Man, that grip strength machine looks super OG. Like something Louie Simmons would have in his gym.
Phil thanks for the video man need more of those mobility and strength workout Thanks youtube i found you and AX channel help me a lot
Every time I watch these videos I not only walk away smarter, but I also kind of chuckle at how Phil sounds like a brotha without even trying lol
So happy to see you and Kevin Lee working together! 🤙💪🔥👊

The amount of info I get from Phil is crazy
This is awesome, such a meticulous approach
From a trainer perspective, so much gems and free game

I need this for myself
Благодарю! Как всегда -лучше всех!!!
Awesome
Best trainer in mma 💯👍❤💪
Crushing as always brother! 🙌
Very interesting
Big fan of Kevin Lee, that Gillespie KO was a work of art.
That was his only art of work
I wish I had this personal trainer. He is awesome.
Peace Phil; thank you for the amazing content. Always appreciated.

Shalom brother.
I believe he has a BJJ program on his website
Wow Daru, you went from Eye Candy Friday to Freaky Toe Friday. Come on Daru!
Man we have to be well rounded over here

Kevin Lee is a MONSTER.
Yeah against Diego Sanchez who has beaten
Can you make some videos of 10-20 minute mobility for mornings and 10-20 minute full body bodyweight workouts for Monday-Friday for the men that are trying to get it first thing in A.M before work that would be awesome bro! Thanks in advance
Good.
Beast
Can't wait to see Kevin back in the octagon. great skillset but never got the chance to put it all together against a top 5 guy.
Are you serious? He lost to Olivera who’s the champ, lost to Fergusson for the interim belt, and beat Dos Anjos the former champ. Kevin’s had his opportunities and then some.
@@rocket5557 I said he never got a chance to put it all together. I didn’t say he never got the chance to fight
@@rocket5557 the Oliver’s fight was right when the pandemic began. He’s always dealing with injuries and weight issues
3wks post achilles surgery and I definitely will need to rebuild my overall fitness level
What is that machine called ? Looks like it's for grip strength
I ht an impingement on my left hand...kinda hard doin conditioning...help me out yo...
Cada cuanto tiempo aconsejaría este tipo de entrenamiento para un gimnasta avanzado?
My quads immediately cramped on the first rep of that hip flexor raise while seated with back on the wall. What do you suggest in that instance?
goat
That's crazy he literally started with no mobility of his toes and then gradually started using all his toes muscles and mobility I was like okay at first but you can see the change of mobility on the feet
Just tried doing the end range hover for the hip flexor. I was able to raise my right leg but I wasn't able to raise my left leg. What just happened?
Cannot believe for end range hovers for hip flexor. Couldn't raise my leg with the right leg but was not able to lift my left leg. What just happened?
Hey Phil, is Kevin Lee well-endowed? 04:23
Hey Phil is Hybrid Prime offically shelved? Or will it still come out some day?
Yes I’m gonna drop two programs this up coming month.. Kettlebell program and hybrid prime
Maan this is different!
For Kevin Lee to fit in to all this, he needs to do some running
What exercises can he do for his chin? Can you retrain his brain from thinking he’s a striker back to being the dominant wrestler who always controlled where the fight went?
If you want to see proper form on the reverse hypers look at brett Contreras or Squat university.
🔥🔥🔥
Kevin Lee walks up to hyper extension*
"where do I fit into this?"
Yo Phil always wanted to know if you manage the diet of your trainees at all. Especially the fighters. You train your athletes hard so was wondering if you had any insight on how you go about it. Or do you just let them decide that themselves with a bit of your recommendations
No we definitely monitor everything they are doing
So new blueprint to beat Kevin Lee = foot stomps
Do you also make him lift weights? Like a bench press for example?
shit i want to do this workout!
That toe excercise that Phil showed, I’ve done that with a near 90 degree with my big toe up and little toes down with a structural integration specialist. Where does Kevin Lee fit into this
whats the machine at the end called
Lee kill a man with them raptor talons
What has Kevin injured or is coming back from
Awesome!!! Osu
where does kevin lee fit into this?
He got only champion's face just only face
I need a shirt that says “big toe pressure”.
They tried to rebuild this guy like 3 times already 😂
All those exercises aren't going to rebuild this very skilled but mentally fragily character.
Though he is powerful and skilled fighter, his cardio is almost like an amateur. He should do something like running or swimming with these weight trainings.
this is called kinstretch
Kevin once said he never lifts weights. Mistake?
An athlete needs to combine both calisthenics & weights in order to achieve maximum performance. He's definitely getting benefits from weights now.
People evolve
Lee
I know that dude from somewhere. Didn't he fight a couple times on the prelims in the UFC, hence his nickname Kelvin 'the Motown Prelim' Leandro, or whatever his name is.
Rebuilding him for what???
Dude needs to work on his cardio
This is some BS exercises. These youtube insta gurus have no knowledge

Kevin "The forever future champion" Lee
First he’s completely changed his camp and now working with myself and Sanford MMA so he’s making the steps in the right direction. This guy has absolutely no ego and is a pleasure to work with.
Hey Phil, is Kevin Lee hung? He’s a great fighter also.
