- For my first visit to Coolangatta, Gold Coast, Australia - I stopped by for some beach fuel at Choofas Smokehouse & Seafood to take on their breakfast-style XXXL Burger Challenge! The challenge lived up to its name! Hungry diners have 1 hour to finish a giant burger stuffed with a 1.5lb burger patty, breakfast goodies including lots of eggs & bacon, along with cheese, beets, and other veggies! The burger is also served with a full basket of fries. Winners earn their $55 AUD burger for free, some groovy merch, and a spot up on the Choofas' Wall of Fame!

@@KatinaEatsKilos chicken salt is made with real powdered chicken stock, spices, celery seed, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and of course you mix it with the salt [ look for low salt powdered stock ].
It ain't Culver's, that's for sure.
Nice to see cooking can be educative and entertaining at the same time and not always a chore.We chefs devote our time and basically our lives to our job and the food we make only to end up under-appreciated and some even under paid haha. The efforts you put into your videos are second to none, definitely worth my time

This is so true and not talked about enough,I'm in my mid 50's now. Been working as a chef for 27 years now and I can say we don't get paid enough, still can't set up a restaurant of my own, it's crazy the work we put into it but I guess we do it cause we love it don't we ?

@@ChefDiegoDelgadoPerezWell this is why most chefs have multiple income streams, my salary doesn't bother me much as a chef, that's because I picked a habit in online trading and exploring the stock market, unfortunately most people don't have such information and I don't really blame them,but lack of information can be a big hurdle. Currently I can average $8500 weekly through trading which is way more than my monthly salary as a chef and I don't even have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is good, or my salary is delayed , great wealth managers will always make returns
I just love how genuine you are. Your videos are consistent, no fraud, just genuineness. My favorite part of this video is your humbleness when you asked if there were any female winners and instead of prying on their finishing time to try to beat it you just praised it and wanted to join. Then you eat pie after, and it isn't even included in the challenge?! You are a legend! Love you hehe

I never feel guilty. I always have one large pizza by myself. Now the crust, though, it’s not a thick crust it is original, but I think of thinner than most original.

competitive eaters usually purge/throw up on purpose to prevent absorption. Looking at her body i'm pretty sure she does too. Calories don't magically disappear. All an act for the camera...to make $$$.

Wow, omg, the way she can eat such a huge burger and fries and then ask for some key lime pie, afterward, just blows me away and she’s got 2 slices, instead of just one. All I can say is this girl has a massive appetite. Also, really enjoys her food. Well, it does definitely, actually, look really appetizing and delicious for sure, but just not that much food!! This is gonna sound strange but watching your videos has really helped with my ED. I have issues eating, it's more of an inconvenience. I often forget to until my body nearly shuts down. I don't ever have cravings so I just scroll through your videos until I find something that actually makes me hungry. So yeah, thank you!

We call them stubbie holders in Western Australia 🇦🇺 A stubbie is the Aussie nickname for a small bottle of beer.
Canned beetroot and pineapple are old summer/salad staples in Australia and a regular sized burger like you had used to be called a kitchen sink at the local deli or burger joint, because it included everything but the kitchen sink.

Nice job on that BIG burger. Ref Chicken Salt, per the intergoogle, = salt, onion, paprika, garlic, sumac, celery and mustard flour.
When even Randy is concerned about you ordering 2 slices of pie after that gigantic burger, you know you got a problem when it comes to desserts. 😅😅
Katina, you should eat the burgers the way YOU want/need to so you can get through the challenge. If taking it apart makes it easier to enjoy and win, then please do so! We love you regardless!!! 🤗
I think she prefers to eat burger challenges as burgers when possible. As for time, she didn't even need to take it all apart the finish well under the time limit(though I totally agree with cutting it in half, as trying to pick up the entire thing could have made a truly massive mess). I knew she'd finish in under a half hour, but I was a bit surprised she asked about dessert. Maybe I shouldn't be, though. I've seen her eat a lot more in one sitting on multiple occasions, and imagine the sweetness of the pie was a nice change from all the savory flavor in the burger and fries. I do wonder if she ended up eating both slices of pie, but if the first slice was really good, I could see myself eating the second slice as well(or at least trying to).
Chicken salt is , onion powder, garlic powder, Tumeric, and season salt. Food truck in Denver uses it and I started making my own

That was an awesome time for such a large burger, and so many fries! Chicken salt sounds really tasty too. Beetroot is supposed to be good for various things, maybe north America needs to try adding it to our burgers too.
I appreciate your channel...I find it fascinating and I don't know why....aside from Wing Bowl in Philadelphia when it used to happen eating stunts where never interesting to me...I do find it interesting that you are more or less clean considering the volume of food you are eating at a time...I do say this before starting this video

What's wild is Choofa's is actually a smokehouse and seafood restaurant in Coolangatta, QLD, AUS. I've been all over the US and the Caribbean, but I've never been overseas and I've never been Down Unda.
