Thank you for this video. As someone who just started gardening during the COVID-19 pandemic, I found your demonstration very encouraging. It gives me hope that a simple DIY espalier project is possible without all the seemingly complicated metal posts and wires. Hi Vasili, I've finally explained to my friends (who scratch their heads wondering what I'm trying to create when they look at my new espalia plums) that I'm growing the plums like grape vines and that allows them to picture the two deimensional theory behind most grape vine trellis systems. Also the GREEK prefix μ is from the metric system denoting a factor of 10 to the−6 (one millionth). Confirmed in 1960, the prefix comes from the Greek μικρός (mikrós), meaning "small". So your tape at 15μm is 15 millionths of a metre thick.
I live in south Texas. We just entered autumn and i was wondering if it is ok to top my young apple trees and start to do the pruning you did on yours? because my goal is espalier as well. Or should I wait till spring? Thanks, Jessica

Saw you put them in a shade area. I live in the desert. No shade. Will that hurt the process?
