Sancho and Sanchez win it for Chelsea | Bournemouth 0-1 Chelsea Review
Thus far this season, the “map of the mine” against Chelsea is letting us have as much possession as we want while keeping up high lines for as long as possible. With this exact recipe Bournemouth got the better share of chances upfront, with Brazilian striker Evanilson making our defenders sweat a bit.
Once the hosts couldn’t keep up the pressure, Chelsea started to get more space upfront. Still our midfield were not really doing a good enough job in transition, with Enzo Fernández being sorely missed for this task.
This forced the likes of Cole Palmer to drop back to get things going and when he wasn’t being hacked by the opposition, he was responsible for most of our brilliance upfront. Twice Jackson got in a good position to score, but he was offside in the first one and had his shot parried by goalkeeper Mark Travers in the latter.
However Bournemouth almost got what they wanted, with Robert Sánchez taking Evanilson down in the box. The penalty was awarded and the centre-forward did a really bad job with his attempt, making our shot-stopper’s job much easier as he parried his shot out of danger.
In the second half, we got our first glimpse of Jadon Sancho in a Chelsea shirt, replacing Pedro Neto on the left wing. He was almost instantly an upgrade on his Portuguese counterpart, setting up Marc Cucurella for a menacing cross that didn’t meet a Chelsea player and assisting Nicolas Jackson for a shot that went too high up in the box.
But once again it seemed as if Bournemouth had the better output from their offensive forays. Sánchez was again driven to the limelight with his interventions.
Manager Enzo Maresca continued to make changes, trying to find a way towards the winning goal. Sancho had already panned out and we only needed an extra push to get there. And we did get there with Nkunku, finally making good out of several attempted assists from the English winger.

1) What does Enzo brings to this team?
2) How does Sancho fits into Maresca style and squad?
Disagree with one thing that enzo was not playing thats why se struggled in mid, if he was playing then he would have done this that, i prefer actually playing games and making a difference than assuming that if he was there then he would have changed the game , bournemouth played really well, i doubt he could have changed thr game, guy has not changed the game since 1-2 years, by babas logic , its like saying lavia , gallagher was missed they could have changed the midfield game, u never no, until guy is acutually making diffrencces in games he played

Pedro Neto in the left doesn't feel very natural to him. His performance on the right as a sub to Madueke would make more sense. Sancho / Mudryk on right. Palmer / Felix in the middle.

Bournemouth was Sensational in first half, the game could've been done and dusted if they were more clinical.
But Shout out to Nkunku who created that Goal for himself and Chelsea.
Im a messi fan but chelsea is my favourite, so i always had some biasness for Enzo ( due to Argentine connection). I used feel very bad when chelsea fans used to criticize him but i knew his ability as i had seen him play in wc . Now Im feeling very good

Our biggest problem is actually our midfield. Caicedo is a liability without Enzo.

Chelsea sqaud is very good imo. Their pace on passes is a delight to watch chelsea need only a good combination in defence. Their attacker like palmer and maduake first touch is very very good.

Pedro neto is a right winger first, most of the time he played right winger in wolves.
The main difference between last year and this year is the bench, where maresca have felix, nkunku, lavia, sancho as subs and poch had ugochuwuku, broja, gilchrist and others. moreover, maybe i am seeing something wrong but i haven't noticed anything impressive than 1 or 2 things from last season other than blockbuster PCs , but at the end of the day who cares as long as we are getting the 3 points

Talent was never an issue for Sancho. He has attitude & weak mentality.
When he’s mentally hurt he takes 3 months break to recover from it.
Less athletic & less physical wingers like Sancho are always going to thrive if used as substitute because of tired opponents.
As starter PL don’t suit him. He should have gone to Juventus. Consistent UCL qualification. But he gave priority to London & lifestyle over football ambitions in Serie A. That shows he’s weak mentality. But he is decent £20m winger, Man United bought him for 4 times inflated price.
