We are too concerned about whether people will like us or join the church. Jesus Christ wins with the minority. Stand my fellow believers.
It doesn't really matter what the church says about it, it only matters what the Bible says and it is EXTREMELY clear on the subject
I know what you mean, but the Church is the reproduced IMAGE AND LIKENESS of the WORD, wherefore, if the Bible(WORD) stands perfect and the offspring(CHURCH) is not, there is an absolute serious problem in the world, for no one will ever know the truth of the Bible unless the Church preaches and teaches it.
Nooo I disagree with your last statement. If the church is apostate and opposing the WORD then to heaven with the church I will stand on thus says the Lord.Look at Kings of Judah and Israel.There were times the church was into idolatry and Elijah decides to follow the Word of God.I will put the word in front and church behind it

Powerful! Pastor Mark, pastor Shelton, and his wife did an amazing job! We need to stand for the truth!
All Pastor Mark really said is that the GC has a statement and they supposedly quietly try to work with organizations, but do not sound the trumpet. Well the trumpet does need to be sounded from these "leaders".
Maybe a change is needed in these leaders to those who will stand firm to the original work God gave us and stop compromising with ecumenism and remain silent except those times when the focus turns on them.

It is good that the Church can use the Word of God to discuss these sensitive issues.
Its sad day when we have to discuss whether the church can affirm sin or not. If the church can affirm any of my sins, then what do I need Christ for? It seems like some in the body of Christ don't want to take orders from the head (which is Christ). God loves us so much that He wants to destroy sin in us and put an end to all the suffering and separation it has caused.
I think you are saying/feeling like you are being condemed. I may be wrong on my assumption. However it is imperitive that the church, like om any issue/topic enlighten us to what the Word of God says. Now nothing under the sun is new, but we must enlighten/remind the brethren & sistren of the truth.

Praise the Lord, someone is finally speaking out truth, addressing issues that are driving people out of the church. My heart is blessed, i have addressed these issues with pastors, conf. Presidents and evangelists to no avail, they say they can't address everything, their not called to make this their stand, their focus is elsewhere. Jesus made us born a new spiritual being called "son of God" precisely to be sinless, free of the law of sin, under grace, to be real sons of God, slaves of the justice or ten Commandments.

Thank you for your courage and knowledge bythe grace of god may we all as christians take the same stand for truth. Truth is our only foundation reference place and platform for living and life
The truth does not need any compramize. Truth must be spoken and upheld. Christ is our head and we must obey God rather than men.
Let's not forget that the sermon in question also called out the SDA Church for seeming to ''affirm'' an SDA member's right to abort (murder) their unborn if they felt the same mental aversion to being a mother. If it's permissible to kill your unborn baby made in God's image then why is it not just as ok to kill the image of God (''...male and female He made them'') in yourself after you are born? Brother Danny's sermon equated both practices as sinful deviants from God's will so both sins need to be addressed with the same Biblical clarity and practice.

You are right! Anyone who has any sort of honest relationship with God should know that the answer is YES... of course the church should affirm LGBTQ members. But first they need to learn what it means to be LGBTQ... and then they will understand that God does NOT condemn queer followers.

Sorry, I don't believe you were born a thief. Your inviornment like mine taught and encouraged you in that direction. As I grew up I made a choice not to do it any longer, the consequences were too much, plus I learned about God and wanted to do His will.

This is not the time we should be walking on eggshells around sin. All of us should be urgently afflicting ourselves before God, asking Him to search our hearts and point out any iniquity within us that we must repent of and overcome. We are living in the TRUE Day of Atonement and Judgement is going on right now for each of us. Unless we zealously repent and heed the counsel of The True Witness (Jesus), as in Revelation 3:18, we will be spewn out of the Father's mouth. Truth needs to be proclaimed loud and boldly so that those who would be saved still have time to be saved.

I'm not hearing any call for repentance, by Mark. Sin requires sincere repentance and the overcoming of sin. There is no restoration, no washing, no conversion UNTIL we come to Christ and REPENT.
Romans 1 points out a lot of sins for us straight people as well. If we are going to point out darkness of others we’d better be walking in the light ourselves.
But I don't think most of us are going around trying to change laws to have our sinful actions accepted and forced onto others. If a person is a true believer in Jesus Christ, that person is surrendering moment by moment to the Word of God and the convictions of the Holy Spirit and is living each day by His power to obey Him.

Very true. Its a serious time and It’s a time for serious self examination for all. 2 Peter 3:11-14 says that as we see events that will cumulate in Gods wrath our words and lives should should be holy and Godly. As we see theses things happening around us we need to be clinging to the vine as never before, with both hands, for without that kind of abiding we can do nothing (John 15) and we will be swept away in our own sins as well.

It has often been presented to me that there should be LESS SERMONIZING by MINISTERSs, acting merely as local pastors of churches, and that greater personal efforts should be put forth. Our people should not be made to think that they need to listen to a sermon every Sabbath. Many who listen frequently to sermons, even though the truth be presented in clear lines, LEARN BUT LITTLE. All we need to know is that God forgives those who repent and desire to live a New Life in Christ( under the guidance of the Holy Spirit). No one is to be welcomed if he/ she has the desire to live in his sinful life again. Clear?

I can answer this question because I lived this life and was delivered through the love of Jesus Christ. And because of Him, I am now a wife, a mother, and a daughter of The Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Now is the time to stand for the plainly stated truth of Gods word, point to A cruified Saviour who died to save us from our sin not to stay but to be transformed to His divne Character prepared to live in Heaven with unfallen angels. I have seen what this life brings, the things that most can not imagine. This lifestyle is baal, its contrary to Gods perfect creation between a husband and a wife. It's missing so much that God said it is very good. I know had Jesus came just 15 years ago. I would not have been of the redeemed, but By His Grace, He came to my rescue and go and sin no more. Mark says they are not out there with trumpets... well maybe they need to be. PERCEPTION of the people is that because these behaviors are accepted and are growing, the GC is complicit by their lack of publicly renouncing it or affecting any serious change. They sure get their lawyers out right quick if they suspect any copyright infringement, yet groups using the name SDA openly embrace LGTBQ.
What you do or don't do speaks much louder than any statements or words spoken on a video.
IF these organizations do not uphold the principles of the Bible, then let there be a complete separation. Otherwise you are under the same condemnation of the Churches of Ephesus, Pergamos and Sardis.

Why focus on one particular sin? We are being sidetracked while some are working at destroying our religious freedom and establishing the Sunday Law.

@PC-zg3eo Religious freedom is not in jeopardy in any way, at least not in the USA. The Sunday Law Debaccle has enough focus and is not happening anytime soon (no evidence), and honestly there are more important things to focus on.
