I believe its called the sport screen and I am 5’10. Hope this helps. I did not want a screen that is too tall as it would look silly on a bike like the M.
Hey, really love your style in the videos, you got a new sub! I have been contemplating for months now, whether I should go for the new 1390 SDR Evo or for this.. I'd be mostly doing city rides, rarely highway and 3-4 track days, but I am sort of really interested in it for the future, so the M seems to be the "wiser" option.. I don't know :D. I currently have a 2021 MT-09 SP and at first after long highway rides I had some tingling sensation in my fingers and the bar vibrations really worry me. Sadly I am unable to test ride the M over here in Finland, there was 1 in the capitol but someone destroyed it during a test ride.... I am able to test ride a S1000R, but I don't know if that will give me the same feel, I really doubt that. Oh and regarding the full exhaust, I asked my dealer here, they said you can put a full system on but you cannot touch the ECU, then the warranty will stay as it is. I was thinking if I were to go for the BMW, I'd go for the Akra M1000R 2024 Titanium headers and the shorter M1000R 2024 Slip-On Line (Titanium). I think that would make a big difference. Cheers!
Hello, glad you enjoy the videos. That is a hard one. Test ride the S1000R , it will give you somewhat of an idea what the bike is like. Concerning the vibrations, they are mostly present at highway speeds, and I use cruise control to mitigate that. The KTM is an amazing bike as well from what I have seen but from a technology/value proposition, I would go with the BMW. Try to test ride both back to back and see which speaks to you the most, if you like the S1000R , think of the M turned up to 11 … ;)
I have not gotten a chance to ride with the wind shield, will report back. On tue bar ends, it is not a total relief nit some. Mirrors are usable now at legal highway speeds … ;)
@@danielpysk7669 I did one ride (have been down with the flu) and I would say the difference is there but not earth shattering. It is still more a style exercise than actual function. In order to get more protection, the windshield would have to be quiet large which would look silly on that bike ... =)
Schöne Änderungen. Aber so unterschiedlich sind die Anforderungen. Ich find die Werksposition von Lenker und Sitz super um die M richtig zu knechten, auch wenn die Posi mich ebenso knechtet. Gute Fahrt Dir weiterhon.
@@CanuluvaG yes it did start to break in, however I have not been utilizing it lately as Bunny needs all the help she can get with her short legs so it's a no-no, as it is taller than the M Seat.
Have you had any issues with the carbon side panels marking the fuel tank at all? I seem to get this as my legs push on the carbon panels for support, and the sharp carbon edges mark the tank :(
@@MotoMischiefs the titanium bolts in the fuel cap, what size thread and pitch are they? I’m gonna buy the fuel cap but would like to order titanium bolts as well, but I don’t know the size of them. I can’t order the whole lot from Motomillion as I live in the UK. The postage from the US to the UK is stupid plus customs fees etc, so I might as well just get them here. Thanks in advance.
I have Evotech lever guards with upside down mirrors. Just install levers upside down! I think it looks better as well!
Let me try that and see how it looks, thanks for the tip.
Would love to see what the upside down mirrors look like on the m1000r.
Thanks for the mod sharing
Could you share the puig windscreen ref?
I ordered that one over my dealer. So can’t really give a website reference, sorry.
Hi great video thanks for taking time to make 👍👍 can you tell me which puig screen did you go for im 6ft how tall are you?

Thank you does it have big effect on wind?
@@windermerewakeify I would not call it a big effect, its seems a little less but I got it mostly for the protection of the instrument cluster.
Thank you 👍👍

Congratulations. Great bike. I just dont like the windshield. I like the original carbon piece. The bar end weights really work?

haha, ja glaube ich, aber ich benutze die M mehr im alltag als auf dem track und das ist dann doch ein bissl komfortabler. Cheers!
Hey mate turning the handlebar blocks 180 degrees makes the handlebars sit lower and closer to you?
Yes, that in combination with the Wunderlich Raisers did the trick for me on the ergo side. Was too aggressive for me in stock form.
And one more question, how is the wunderluch comfort seat, did it get any more better?
@@CanuluvaG yes it did start to break in, however I have not been utilizing it lately as Bunny needs all the help she can get with her short legs so it's a no-no, as it is taller than the M Seat.
Thank you @BunnyandBman
Great mods. I have the same bike. I’ve been considering bar risers as well. How many mm are your risers? Thank you
25mm, but I did revert back to the stock M seat, just could not make the Wunderlich seat make work for me.
What has the wind performance been like with the Puig Windscreen? Thanks
I would say a little less pressure in the chest area.
1st for our man

Where did you get the blue titanium fuel cap bolts from?
Motomillion has them .

Sorry to hear, no issues on my end at all so far. I would have the dealer look at it and see if it’s possible a warranty issue.
I’m in the UK 🤦🏻♂️
Could you take one bolt out and send me the measurements please. That would be helpful.
