i would LOVE if you included your 'tea of the day' in your videos! your tea stash looks amazing. if you have ever watched shanrell of shanrells stash (she is more makeup panning videos, not nail content) but i love how she always starts with telling us what tea is in her mug before she gets into it. its like sitting down with a friend and a cup of tea/coffee and then you start chatting lol...thats how i feel anyways on this end of the videos lol. great nail room tour, thank you for letting us in! and ps love that it is your plant room too :)

Thank you Hillary for an awesome video, and major distraction from doing my own spring nail room cleaning. Lol I picked up a few baskets to sort stuff for the helmers that I already swatched months ago (I'm so behind), heard my notification of your video and completely stopped cleaning to watch,.... and now cleaning seems like it might not happen if I can't stop watching swatching videos now. I got an ita bag and I’m only allowed to own as many enamel pins as will fit onto it, it keeps my enamel pin obsession in check 😂. I was going to do a cute cork board like yours, but realized I was setting myself up for even more hoarding and I already collect too much polish 😂

Everything's nicely organized and it's so satisfying to watch! I'm actually currently considering switching to swatch sticks to have a good visual of my collection, but I'm not sure where I'm gonna keep them since I can't put them on my wall. I also don't own a label maker and have no plans to buy it, so I think I'll just number the sticks and write down the names in a notebook. This video is getting me into an organizational mood, lol.
Yes I do hold on to stuffs, however its fun eliminating stuffs or giving it away❤❤

Great tour. I know what you mean about the "nail polish salon" sentiment. A friend laughed when she saw my polish room and made the "salon" comment....as a result, I'm currently in the process of reconsidering our friendship. Lol 😂
two apartments ago was just a one bedroom and the living room had a walk in closet. It had a bunch of shelves on the back of it and then the sides had a shelf up high on the side walls and there was an outlet in there and ceiling light too.... I considered setting up all my nail stuff inside of the closet because it was actually big enough to set up a small table, a chair and helmers. we had enough storage throughout the apartment that the stuff in there could go elsewhere. ANYWAYS. Someone told me it was so 'extra' if I did that because who needs that much space for nail things. =/ lol. I did stay friends though.
What a fun nail room! You look nicely organized, making it convenient for doing your manis and filming. I too am a bit of a "collector" and I keep cool packaging and items that have a memory attached. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, you like tea? I subscribe to sipsby and it's so fun to sample all sorts of teas. You get to make a taste profile and review what you've been sent to help better curate future boxes. It's also really affordable (i think $20 a month). Nice little monthly indulgence....like I need any more of that lol
"Nails salon WISH!" Lol you had me cracking up but true they probably do! My friends always have a similar reaction when they see my nail room/corner...so many comments of "you should have a salon" No Thanks Maam! Love all the nail techs and their patience and talent.... Doing other peoples nails usually stresses me out cause I want it perfect and I take forever. Plus I'd be awkward at trying to make conversation😅

Maybe you could get a box for all of the gel stuff and put it in your closet or under a bed so you still have them but they don't take up precious space

They're each 32" I will say they're pretty large but I could never go back haha

I have been eyeing those Ikea helmers. I have an Alex drawer from Ikea, but what bothers me is that I cannot pull out the drawers all the way (to access polishes in the back). It looks like you can do that with the helmers. Is that the original way of "screwing everything together" or did you have to change something while building the helmer?
What size are the binder rings you use? I have mine on 1” rings but I like how you store yours better.
The big ones are 3" and the smaller ones are 1" I think I have the exact ones linked in my description
