Tanzania is a really beautiful country with rich culture and the people are so friendly and nice. Am a Kenyan and I really love Tanzanians plus their swahili is super awesome. Those homes are beautiful.

Not in Africa. This is only Arusha... a city in north tanzania a tourist city gateway to the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro it is among the expensive side.. some towns are cheaper

He said Gambia was a hidden paradise with cheap land, good government and tons of opportunities. I intend to discuss the issue of religion with him the next time we chat, my personal opinion is that All black people need to rid ourselves of foreign belief systems and re discover the ways and teachings of our ancestors....that's what made us powerful, grounded , balanced and healthy. What type of jobs does Tanzania offer that allows a person to earn enough money to pay their rent? I have a master's degree here in America, do they acknowledge that on the jobs in Tanzania?
What's your masters degree in? Jobs are generally not easy to come by in Africa. But if your degree is in high demand, there's a chance you can find a job. The best, however, is to be thinking of starting your own business. Being self employed. That's the best. The business can be in line with your degree or something else all together. Hope that helped a little.
Anita, if you really want to relocate. Start an online biz, look into etsy, amazon, ebay biz. Especially digital biz, where you are not glued to any location. You can even start tutoring online and then when you get to the country you can then make the necessary contacts to get jobs etc.
I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Starting your own business would be ideal. Most of the other foreigners do it. And the foreigners that I’ve encountered in Tanzania who are living and have a job there, 90% of them are a teacher or translator of some kind. Even teaching English online with and ESL program.
Thanks immensely for showing your viewers these immensely affordable, feasible, and splendid accomadating rental houses and apartments. I was astonished at how cheap the rentals are. However- I was very captivated by the $300 to $400 shilling/ dollar house rentals. The only drawbacks are: the squatting bathrooms and no gas heat. However- I surmise the electric heaters are suffice. Thanks. Peace and Joy!
I can see how the swatting style toilet can be scary on first thought, but they’re actually not bad. It’s typical of Tanzanian homes are businesses to have them. As well as the same heater set up. What I want people to keep in mind is that when you come to a foreign country to live, you simply cannot expect the same normalities as in your home country. Otherwise you will be very disappointed. Also, to put it plainly, those who cannot accept the little nuances of the culture like squatting toilets, the modesty and conservatism of the culture, no electric heaters and such, this move may not be for you. You may have a difficult time adjusting to the ways of life and would ultimately make your transition uncomfortable. My best advice is to just come out with an open mind, open heart and look at this as an adventure 🤗😆✨

How's the insulation from the heat inside of the homes? I think that 400 a month home should have that green backyard around the entire house just my opinion. The greenery of nature will make it much cooler, and create it's own privacy around the property. Utilize nature more or combine it with the surrounding of the homes especially with large tree for shade to keep the homes cooler. Their is so much more potential for that beautiful home and landscape.

They had a sitting toilet also in the other room next to the squatting one.

Hi, I want to know can you get a bath tub build in the new homes or rent a home with bath tub in it ? I see you showed the sit on toilet so that was good to see.

How's the insulation from the heat inside of the homes? I think that 400 a month home should have that green backyard around the entire house just my opinion. The greenery of nature will make it much cooler, and create it's own privacy around the property. Utilize nature more or combine it with the surrounding of the homes especially with large tree for shade to keep the homes cooler. Their is so much more potential for that beautiful home and landscape.
