Ham radio operators never cease to amaze me with their willingness to criticize and offend. This guy thought enough of his bug and his ability to send with it that he posted a video for us to enjoy. For the majority of you who complimented him, may you be blessed. For the few of you offering unwanted derision, look down into your soul and ask yourself what compels you to discourage strangers and take away their joy.
Nice fist. Awesome demo of the bug. Thanks for taking the time to demo it's use. I have a new in box "standard" bug and hope to use it someday. I actually bought it new a long time ago. Just now getting back into CW. Hope to be good enought to use it someday. Will have to fall back on the Bencher paddles until then.
I never seen one of those and now i understand all the rage. My code speed sucks but I am trying to do better. I hope someday that I can race with my CW...
That key isn't jerky, but you DO have your spacing on the dit side set FAR too wide. If you closed that up some you would see that you can get a much cleaner sound.
EVERY so called "bug operator" should be REQUIRED to find and read the old article by W6ISQ about 'ripping off dots.' I have no idea, anymore when that was published, but it would have been in one of the older "small format" QST magazines
it is best to send accurate and legible code.Obviously this operator is sending faster than his limits will allow.Send good pure code that every one can appreciate

Very nice. I guess 20 to 40 wpm plus range. I have an old Lightning bug from the late 30s or so.
Great bit of key work
I thought it was very well sent cw.. Also I love the sounds of bug clicks.
Sounds like music!!
To hear a well operated bug key sending traffic to ships at sea WAS "music" to the ar...at least it was for me.
Very good code with semiautomatic key. Used one of them long time ago.

Once again , enormous contact settings resulting in jerky code , a lot of effort and deafening damper noise . All unecessary .
