This was super helpful! I've been wanting to combine clips to clear up space, for a while and didn't realize Share Factory had been updated to do this (last time I used it was on PS4). Took me about an hour to do 30 clips, with music and a few effects. Game changer!

Thanks for the info! Is it recommended (in your opinion) to export game clips to vertical video? I know you lose much of the screen area 🤔 are people actually taking the time to flip their phones to landscape?

This is such a handy tool that I didn't know existed! So much better than the alternative of having to download a screen capture to my PC and then edit in Premier Pro/Rush.
I do have one question: suppose your internet connection goes out while you're editing within this app. Does it save your progress as a draft or do you have to start from scratch?

Honestly. If you don’t like the music that sharefactory gives you(which most won’t) just add an overlay of the sound you want from whatever game you’re playing.
oh and what is best recommended for music import? so that we can use music other than youtubes so we don;t get a copyright

3:05 this "add track 2" you can add a video too BUT i cant change the transition, is always a sh1t transition that comes from the left to the right if i want the clip to be in the center. How can i change it?

So what happens when you put weeks of work into a video but even though it clearly gives you 80 minutes, it doesn't want to render your video because it's over 60 minutes?
You edit the video down to 60nminutes or split it into 2 videos.
I had the same question and for some reason not a single one of these educational videos tell you how long you were allowed to have a video clip most of my videos last at least an hour, but it says you can have up to 80 minutes what's up with that, can anyone tell me how long I can have a single clip video no transitions, no special effects no stickers nothing just start recording and recording upload to RUclips
@@Gamingmontel could you be a little more concise in your explanation that was just confusing it didn't help much are you telling me I need to have 2-40 minute videos joined together?
@MrDANGEROUSIDEAS sharefactory can only edit 60.minutrs of footage. Ps5 can only record 60 minutes. So if you trying to edit a 80 minute video you will have to edit into multiple videos or do alot of cuts
@MrDANGEROUSIDEAS yes either 2 40 minutes video. Or you can cut it down to 1 50 minute video and 1 20 minute video. Or just edit out the parts that don't really matter
i have a macbook computer how do i get my ps5 gameplay videos on it so i can edit??
What should I do if I don’t see anything on the left side it’s just grey for me and I paused the video at 2:01
Things that should have been mentioned in this video too are the fact that in Sharefactory, you can only make around 25 cuts in a video before you get a massage that you can't make anymore cuts in the video, that you can stretch out the timeline of the video a lot but can't cut clips to being shorter than 1 second. It also should've been mentioned that Sharefactory can't remove green screen parts out of videos that you find and download from RUclips and that the sounds map that Sharefactory has, doesn't work because only the music, videos and images maps work. The Sounds map in which you try to add sounds effects that you find online, into Sharefactory Studio, crashes when you try to import a sound effect via usb.

I finished editing and tried to upload it to RUclips from my connected RUclips account but the video hasn’t been added onto my RUclips how long does it usually take to be uploaded to RUclips

So the resolution is 3840 x 2160 (4k) on my PlayStation but on share factory it’s 4k as well so do I only need one of them to be 4k or both or does it not matter

@@hamzarehmankhattak Hi Hamza, Unfortunately you cant use the mouse on Sharefactory but you can plug in a keyboard which will help speed things up if you like to add text to your sharefactory videos. Hope that helps buddy🤞
I keep uploading, and I've saved Thumbnails, put them in the beginning, and they still aren't coming up on the RUclips end. Once I tap the video, I see them, but I need them to show as Thumbnails. Any ideas bruv?
There is an option with in sharefactory to set a thumbnail. I believe it says "generate thumb nail" you can also create a thumbnail on sharefactory and upload it to the playstation mobile app and from there save it to your phone and then on youtube studio edit your thumbnail and put the thumbnail you created. Thats what I have done for some of my videos. Hopefully thi helps

Are there WRITTEN tutorials for sharefactory?, it confuses me with all the information I dont need, and it is going to fast.
I dont want to know ALL the options in the app. In one go, I have trouble separate things from each other 🙈🤪

I only need to know:
How to record in 4K (think I got that one)
Save it
Edit the start and the end, preferably withOUT any intros and outros from sharefactory
choosing a thumbnail (is it possible in SOME way to copy a picture from USB to the system?)
Maybe put some text onto that thumbnail
Upload it to youtube in 4K
And I KNOW you almost certainly covers most of it in this video, but, as I mentioned, I´m not able to separate things, especially not when you talk so fast. 🙈😋
Sony really needs to fix this tbh cuz I know you can live stream and record stuff and with the live stream you can use the camera but when you’re recording you can’t use the camera now what I want to do is to be able to use the camera while playing the game
I just wish you could record gameplay while using the camera at the same time, instead of having to go live. At this point you would think Sony would implement that future. It's ridiculous that you can't do that.
so far I've watched quite a few of these educational share factory videos. LAS Curry is doing a great job explaining the functions it's like anything else after you use it for a while you'll get the hang of it but I have a burning question and it seems like a lot of people have the same question. I want a single clip video gonna start playing and recording a borderlands session how long can that single clip no transitions no stickers no edits nothing just a single clip uploaded to RUclips. Nothing special how long can that video be? A lot of people are telling me they can't upload any video longer than 60 minutes even though it says you can upload 80 and no matter how hard I look or no matter where I look or how many of these educational videos I look at not a single one of them explains, how to do the longest video possible or how long a video can possibly be so that I can just upload some of my gameplay to RUclips nothing special nothing fancy nothing added, just gameplay how long???? if I get an answer to this question, it will help quite a few people even in your own comment section how long of a video can we have that is a single clip I don't want to do 8-10 minute long clips if I can only be 60 minutes, so be it but please someone give me an answer
Hey, if you live stream your gameplay to RUclips and make the video unlisted so no one else can see it, and as long as you stream less than 6 hours, you would be able to use YT's own editor to clip any part you want and upload as a video.
Or you can stream to YT from your PS5, and once you finish streaming, the video will stay saved on your RUclips channel forever as long as you have it set to public.
You do not need a computer to do this, it can all be done from your ps5
If you got the ps5 you don’t need nothing else to get good gaming video outs

I have a video on this coming up, but you want to use a usb or external hard drive download it and then plug into computer or you can access your clips from your phone and download from there
