Only reason I "hate Drive+" is because I currently pay for it and it's been 1 month and 3 weeks without ANY SINGLE CONTENT. Not to mention the level of content is a serious let down compare to what it was supposed to be (ie: LaFerrari video with Chris Harris...) No information, no content, nothing. Why am I paying for it? I truly wonder... I have 10 days before paying for nothing again. It's not a question of money, it's a question of principle. Being let down, paying for nothing and being borderline lied to ("one 30 minutes video per week", yeah right...). That's what pisses me off a little...
+kris hedges You cannot compare a multinational company and a little group of car afficionados. I was happy to participate financially in the /Drive effort to publish great content. My mistake was to believe them, thinking they would deliver like they did in the past... They really did not.
I just gotta applaud Matt for pointing out what should be obvious but for a lot of people it really isn't: 4WD/AWD only helps ON power. You wouldn't believe how many people I've had to explain this shit to. Especially the typical SUV driver. Living in winter country, having to explain to people going fast on snow isn't safe no matter your drive system shouldn't be be needed. Because we ALL have 4 wheel brakes. In fact, in some cases a 4WD system could make matters worse when braking/losing traction because of added mass.
Exactly. Driving up over a pass in WA in early winter last year saw 5 cars in the median spun out. All SUVs, all clearly lost control on brake and slid into the ditch. Scary stuff how much people trust AWD. I had just put new tires on my fwd vehicle and never slipped.
TOTALLY feel the whole axle thing discussed at 2:15. I recently thought I had blown the auto trans in my girlfriend's B5. I was in a merging lane and went to punch it, and the car would rev up, but wouldn't move under its own power. I also heard some bad grinding noises. Really had me worried for a second. A tow from AAA and a new front passenger-side axle later, and she's good as new. The B5 is a great platform. In my opinion, while there are certainly more reliable cars out there, they don't "get everything right" in the way that the B5 does timelessly. These things were built to last forever. We have had ours for a couple years and have around 240k miles on it, and I'll wager that it'll reach 300k in our hands. The Quattro AWD is unbeatable out here in the Colorado winters and has made countless otherwise miserable long drives through the snow a ton of fun. The B5 has the right amount of performance and refinement for the street and is incredibly practical under almost all circumstances. They really make an excellent daily if you are familiar with them and willing to give them the little extra attention that they inevitably will require.
Drive+ doesn't bother me anymore. I just give it a few months to buffer content, pay for a month and binge watch what's there, and cancel for another half a year until the content buffers again.
+TheSmokingTire get us some discount man, my 1st pair is about to die and I need another. unfortunately they don't have discount for returning customers :( (edit : bought the 1st pair because of you hehe)
+TheSmokingTire I asked for a pair for X-mas but wasn't in the cards. I did however buy "All Cars Go To Heaven 2" on Christmas Day. Totally made up for the no Dillon's! Loved it just as much if not more than than Volume 1. Keep up the good work Matt and Crew!
Absolutely my favorite Audi body style, and because us American's never got the RS4 Avant this car right here is as good as it gets. Definitely on my list of cars I want most and has been for a long time.
I love my B5 S4 with plenty of upgrades... makes close to 500 awhp. It's actually been very reliable aside from a leaking aux coolant pump which are common with these cars. I can't say enough about how much fun the car is. Serious bang for the buck. I also wanted one new when they first came out.... I was working on my Fox body mustang back in those days... that's for you Matt... and I still own a fox body which I love as well.
i bought a B5 S4 just recently , i was looking for a wagon originally but came across a super clean brilliant red sedan with only 43, 000 on it and 6 speed. bought it asap
God, I've always wanted one of these. Especially a noggy Avant. Amazing cars for their day, despite the known issues. I owned a B6 S4, I'm all too familiar with the headaches they cause. I own a stage 2 WRX now, truly a dream when it comes to maintenance.
I used to work at a Dodge dealer, and I always laughed at the 4x4 and awd vehicles that came in wayy late into the winter. Four wheel drive gets you out of a jam. You're still gonna slide no matter what. And for please people, buy winter tires.
+James De Young That was a big problem where I grew up in a snowy area. People got way overconfident in their 4WD/AWD and they'd wind up in a ditch in a snow storm. Doesn't matter how many wheels are spinning when you're on ice!
The JHM shifter solves all of the wiggle in the shifter. I have a Casablanca white B5 S4 with K04's and a GIAC tune, it's not the smoothest tune but it's crazy fast.
I own a B6 S4, and these timing chain guides have me forever wishing i went B5. Its just such a pain to have to take out the whole engine to change them. But im not paying the 7k it costs for a shop to do it. just insane.
@Misterr_Meaner i guess i have stupid luck that i found a audi S master mechanic that can do a hell of a job for so low. I looked around for other shops and they have prices at 3.7k
I have a b5 passat 1.8t manual running 16 pounds with APR and the stock k03 turbo and I absolutely love driving it. My wife hates it. She says it’s old. But it’s super clean. I will prob never sell it willingly. I have 5 grand in it more than it’s worth anyway.
+darek4488 if you are wanting to a petty grammar nazi, dailymotion is not a person. more like multiple people under one channel within a video streaming network. webpage? no.
I really wanted one of these but the reliability scared me away. Then Matt did the 1M video & I got into an E90 335xi N54. Similar power delivery, similar horsepower and high headroom. Its still not the most reliable car but I wouldn't trade it for the world. 440whp in a 3400lb vehicle isn't slow. 0-60 in under 4 seconds WITHOUT an LSD using 2nd gear. Quarter mile in 11.67 seconds on street tires.
@@teedot1186 pain to maintain but damn once all maintenance is done be ready for a lot miles of reliable. Lots of required maintenance for these cars but they can last a long time. German engineering
Drive+ promises so much and delivered so little. I miss old Drive which is forever gone. I hope you Matt and channels like MT keep up the same great way!
Keeps saying 2.7t's are not reliable, had tested one with 300,000 miles on it, is inside of one with 145k and still going strong... Yes this is not your LS400 but the 2.7t is super reliable if you maintain it properly even on stock k03's. you just have to bypass some things that can go wrong with the time like delete the icms or things like this but these engines are super strong!!
Honest question. Why do so many people go for big power BEFORE big brakes? In my mind it is better to take care of the stopping before the going. No one needs a car with a bunch of power and less than adequate brakes.
Because they don't know how better brakes can get you better lap times than extra power. Just like better tires is more advantageous than coilovers. Or big wheels = slower car.
Not sure if you are referring to this vid, but the B5 S4 came with phenomenal brakes from the factory, where a simple pad upgrade will gain big stopping power.
25psi and only 350awhp im thinking u are in the 400s after boost leaks are fixed but you should upgrade those inj to 75 to 90lb and look into wet meth if you cant get e85 sadly car would be an monster with e85. great car, amazing color. hope to see more of this s4
we don't hate drive + we hate paying for things. the content is great though. I would buy them all, if I could. Japan episode was awesome, I just keep rewatching your part and imaging that's your GTR in the canyons!
And BTW, when going modified from S4 to RS4 B5 specs, you really should increase the engine's cooling capacity as well. The RS4 engines are really different compared to S4's instead of just parts, cooling is way improved and the RS4 B5 equips an oil-cooler in front which opens automaticly at 110 degrees if i'm not mistaken. Basicly the RS4 B5 avant is way more suitable for 'beatings' then an S4 to RS4 specs is. So anyone going for a conversion, please check your cooling. The S4 B5's on RS4 specs run way hotter then RS4's.
Seeing this makes me miss my A6 2.7 6MT :/. Such a great car and I believe if I was driving some shit econo-box I might not be here today. As always though Matt great video and thanks!
Of all the B5 Avants you could have tested...you really use a Tip Swap with Frankenturbos? Sigh...so many tasty choices in SoCal when it comes to these cars. Nothing against this car in general, but I think there are better examples locally with better upgrades that would have made for a better production. Either way, thanks for keeping the B5's alive!
+Xero to 60 This is the third B5 S4 I have filmed. The other two had 600 and 450 whp respectively. And it doesn't really matter. My least favorite of them all was the 600 WHP one. Peaky and buzzy, and still didn't handle very well. you can see the video with the other two cars on Drive. Besides, it should be pretty common knowledge at this point that One Takes are done by submission. If all these "better examples" are out there, and they don't send me their cars to review, there's not much I can do about it. It's not like I am choosing from 20 options for every video. 95% of the cars submitted to me make air. All three B5's submitted made air.
+TheSmokingTire you are correct sir, the imola is one of the most meticulously maintained b5 s4's out there. The owner is a respected member of the s4 community and there is no better example. Track cars would be another story as far as canyons go
+Andy Adyy The owner of that car was great, And yes, his 300,000 mile car is impressive. I just didn't like what happens when you put 600 HP in one of those cars, but that's not to take away from how nice the car is.
+TheSmokingTire I guess you are assuming that we watch what's on Drive, and that we know that your videos are done by submission. Not sure how that's "common knowledge", but either way it's your deal and you make the choices. I guess people should make it a point to send more submissions to you!
Ive never heard of anyone say that the 2.7tt dont sound good. Matt said better to keep them quiet. There are alot of shitty sounding v6s out there. 2.7tt definitely isnt one of them . they sound so good with a exhaust.
Stock B5 S4 block is good for +400WHP and with built motor you can do +600WHP but if you want a crazy setup then you can do a VR6 with single turbo swap or do a B5 RS4 swap and keep twin turbos which both can do +800WHP
ironically these 2.7ts aerre really reliable engines. its the stock k03s that are trash. Keep up on maintenace and they will treat you well. My car make 450whp/475wtq and has done so on stock drivetrain/engine for 5 years+ and the stock motor has 225k miles. the only weak link in these engines is the rods which can make 500 or so but if the tune is good you should be fine. The pistons and everything else are really stout. most people just throw upgraded rods in there and then really turn it up.
I don't get the issue with the push-down function in order to put it in reverse... I own a B5 1.8T and it has never been an issue.... same goes for my friends or parents B5..
Matt, have you ever driven any c4 audi s4s? Or any audi with the 5 cylinder turbo engine? Im 18 years old and I have one myself, but man, that would be so awesome if you got your hands on one to review!
I love how even the owner is surprised it lasted 12 minutes without breaking...I'll never understand how people can get into Audis...but I mean if you like to live on the edge there isn't a better car. Every time you touch a switch, turn, brake, accelerate, shift or even look at the car something may break. All jokes aside my friend had a b5 s4, it was comfortable, looked good and was fun to tool around in. Its one of those cars that I like, I could just never bring myself to purchase. Its like a boat, the best one is someone else's.
+tommyistommy Remember these cars have multiple owners and is over 15 years old by far. If the previous owner didn't meticulously take care of it everything will be a chore and break. I had mine for over 5 years.
JerZeyFiveOh Yeah, maintenance is everything. The thing is, they depreciate so fast due to the high and frequent repairs needed so almost every one needs more than they are worth at this point. Most people don't realize that expensive cars are still expensive to repair even when the entry fee is low.
+tommyistommy I agree with you 100%, I take the good with the bad with these cars. I'm a car enthusiast at heart and can't drive something boring that brings me to point A and B. If it brings a smile to face but not as reliable as a Honda so be it lol.
This guy needs a stage 3+ clutch from AMD, JHM or Southbend. What is the point of a B5 S4 if your not launching it. About time you reviewed a B5 S4, Thank you!
All VW/Audi products from that time period, regardless of color. It's the New (Neu?) Malaise Era (1998-2005) affecting German cars. It's not just the blue :p Cool video though, and nice conversation
I really wanted a b5s4, but after Matt saying that the car doesn't like to turn, is there a sedan with a TT 6cyl and AWD that has the engine further back?
+Tedlasman A BMW 335xi... a 2009 or 2010 is the one to get. It still has the twin turbo engine (they went single turbo in 2011 I think), but has the updated I-drive. The tt n54 engine also makes this great car to chip tune... like with JB4 (google it, you will be sold). And it will also go around a corner without under steering into a tree. Don't test dive one until you have space in you garage tho.
Matt, will you drive a healthy non-KA 240SX s13 soon? I would love to hear your impression of them, or if you have driven one before did you like it and what don´t you like about them?
what other euro cars are there besides audi, mercedes, saab, bmw,vw,range rover, volvo, the bmw mini, the fiat 500? have you Mat have ever driven peugeots or renaults, seats.skodas,mg`s???
to bad there are a couple of classic sports cars that whould be great on the 1 take...maybe one day a euro one take couple of speacial episodes stuf that americans dont get to drive kind of thing...ill let the idea stay here free of charge ...lol
+sefhyro space pirate the idea can be free, but the cost of flying to Europe would more than overtake the possible revenue from those video. Not worth it from a business standpoint.
yahh times are hard everywhere i understand maybe in the future there is that chance...there a few iconic cars that i whould have enjoy youre take on those...renault 5 turbo2, peugeot 205 gti, seat ibiza fr,i dont know if this one was sold on the us but ford cosworth rs just pointing out a few
+sefhyro space pirate Seat, VW, Audi and Skoda are extremely similar because they all share the same parts. Open a VW's hood and you'll see Audi and VW. The handling of a Polo and an Ibiza is more or less the same. Renault, Peugeot and Citroen are French. They might have been good a long time ago, but right now their cars are about the most ugly around.
I have one A4 B5 Avant 2.4L V6 dark blue automatic. Its amazing fast, comfy, as space.I love is motor sound. yes we must be ready to spend some money once in while. for now I need to fix air conditioning, is losing gas. but its easy to fix, I hope. The only trouble until now as with the wire connected to fuel pump, toque 3 weeks the find a electrician mechanic available during Christmas period and I suggest to rewire, and was fix. ;)
The 2.7T is actually a very reliable motor. It's everything around the motor that fails lol. I own a 200k mile Nogaro "stage 3" car. Turbos, gaskets, seals etc are what fail
+TheSmokingTire No such opinion for s4 b5 here in europe. We have no problems with them. Probably we can maintain and tune them properly. Sincerely, s4 b5 owner
All I could think about for this video is how youtube doesn't allow 2k or 4k at 60fps yet. I think you upload in the best format they currently allow because 60fps is important in this kind of video but I really wish this were higher res while still being at least 60fps.

I love seeing appreciation for these cars, I own a B5.5 (1.8t) but they've aged so well and make a great platform of built right just like this one
Only reason I "hate Drive+" is because I currently pay for it and it's been 1 month and 3 weeks without ANY SINGLE CONTENT. Not to mention the level of content is a serious let down compare to what it was supposed to be (ie: LaFerrari video with Chris Harris...)
No information, no content, nothing. Why am I paying for it? I truly wonder... I have 10 days before paying for nothing again. It's not a question of money, it's a question of principle. Being let down, paying for nothing and being borderline lied to ("one 30 minutes video per week", yeah right...). That's what pisses me off a little...
+traxnada Yeah, the "what was promised" and lack of general communication is a bit disappointing.
Never wold I pay for anything its youtube not Netflix and hulu
+kris hedges You cannot compare a multinational company and a little group of car afficionados. I was happy to participate financially in the /Drive effort to publish great content. My mistake was to believe them, thinking they would deliver like they did in the past... They really did not.
+kris hedges You would need to actually speak english for me to understand anything you just wrote.... sorry
traxnada not used to my new phone yeaj I re read It and it definitely made no sense
4:23 the 'no comment' reaction about putting an exhaust on the car haha I think they sound amazing; yes, I am biased. ;)
I know this is an old video but I gotta say these engines sound absolutely amazing with the right exhaust, one of the best sounding v6s ever.
Lol at the 3 beeps at startup. Someone doesn't have ABS.
just audi things
Coolant level sensor is 3 beeps i thought lol
Drive+ doesn't bother me anymore. I just give it a few months to buffer content, pay for a month and binge watch what's there, and cancel for another half a year until the content buffers again.
I like where this guy's head at. Everybody do this instead of subbing every month.
How much do I have to pay for sunglasses that look like I can't see out of them?
Dillon Optics retail for $250 but if you use the link on our website we will send you a free t shirt!
+Pdiddy I asked for a pair but got copies :(
Remember the villain, "King Tut" on the old Batman TV series? Matt could be his son!
Absolutely my favorite Audi body style, and because us American's never got the RS4 Avant this car right here is as good as it gets. Definitely on my list of cars I want most and has been for a long time.
Videos like these are awesome. Two enthusiasts driving a sweet car on a great road.
Love this machine. Would happily have it in my garage. Great review Matt - keep em coming!
i have never clicked on one of your videos faster than now, B5 model is my favourite! Awesome video Matt!
Mate i have look on this video... I still have A4 B5 Avant. Now is 20 years old car but i still impressed and love it.
After all these years, this is still probably the best setup for these cars 💯💪🏽😁
+James De Young I put snow tires on my Subaru once. It was horrible. No more 4 wheel drifts :(
Hate to disagree- B5 S4 with tuned/straight exhaust is one of the most terrifying and awesome exhaust sounds on the planet.
The JHM shifter solves all of the wiggle in the shifter. I have a Casablanca white B5 S4 with K04's and a GIAC tune, it's not the smoothest tune but it's crazy fast.
This is a really clean example, nice work sir
Great video Matt !
Awesome review ,hope we will see more B5 features in the future :)
Cheers !
What a great way to start off the day, thanks Matt.
I own a B6 S4, and these timing chain guides have me forever wishing i went B5. Its just such a pain to have to take out the whole engine to change them. But im not paying the 7k it costs for a shop to do it. just insane.
about to buy a b6 s4 avant at 110k mileage. The owner had done a timing belt on it, was wondering at what increments the chain guides are at
bruh who the fuck are you paying 6k for the timing chain job. i live near Los Angeles and my shop be doing it for 2,600 with the water pump.
@@freddyhaza1377 man when I had mine I couldn’t get the parts for the full job under 2200 or so.
@@freddyhaza1377 I found a shop that would do it for around 4k, but I ended up selling the thing.
@Misterr_Meaner i guess i have stupid luck that i found a audi S master mechanic that can do a hell of a job for so low. I looked around for other shops and they have prices at 3.7k
Been waiting for this since I saw it in the background a few episodes ago
I have a b5 passat 1.8t manual running 16 pounds with APR and the stock k03 turbo and I absolutely love driving it. My wife hates it. She says it’s old. But it’s super clean. I will prob never sell it willingly. I have 5 grand in it more than it’s worth anyway.
Matt Farrah is my favorite RUclips :)
+joel ED Matt Farrah is not a RUclips. The only RUclips I know of is called RUclips.
+darek4488 This is the joke
This is your head
lol the internet allows no mistake right? just add a 'r' in the end and its all good "RUclipsr"
I guess someone could say that Dailymotion is my favourite RUclips. Not so sure about people being webpages.
I had a C5 A6 with a 2.7T! I love any Audi with a 2.7T
Yea but a pain to maintain.
@@teedot1186 pain to maintain but damn once all maintenance is done be ready for a lot miles of reliable. Lots of required maintenance for these cars but they can last a long time. German engineering
@@dins.garage I agree
Drive+ promises so much and delivered so little. I miss old Drive which is forever gone. I hope you Matt and channels like MT keep up the same great way!
I have a stage 3 with an AWE Twin exhaust. It sounds magnificent!
I like these a lot. They look great, are the perfect size for a 4 door, and are fun to drive. If I can afford the up keep one day, I'll buy one.
Do love the B5 S4 when equipped with the sport pack. Good choice, man.
Come to the UK!!! There's a range of modified cars you'll love here!
What is icm?
I have been waiting for a B5 on One Take!
finally some more love for b5 s4, unlike in drive + vid. maybe audizine wont haunt matt now :)
I keep revisiting this video. I think I found my next car. I want to keep doing my research.
I owned a A6 with a 2.7t and 6 speed and i regret selling it everyday, such a fun car to drive.
Honest question. Why do so many people go for big power BEFORE big brakes? In my mind it is better to take care of the stopping before the going. No one needs a car with a bunch of power and less than adequate brakes.
the answer is quite obvious.
Because they don't know how better brakes can get you better lap times than extra power. Just like better tires is more advantageous than coilovers. Or big wheels = slower car.
+Justin Updyke because going really fast is cooler then stopping really fast
+Cody Clark Hell, I don't even care about lap times. I care about not wrapping my car around a tree. lol
Not sure if you are referring to this vid, but the B5 S4 came with phenomenal brakes from the factory, where a simple pad upgrade will gain big stopping power.
25psi and only 350awhp im thinking u are in the 400s after boost leaks are fixed but you should upgrade those inj to 75 to 90lb and look into wet meth if you cant get e85 sadly
car would be an monster with e85. great car, amazing color. hope to see more of this s4
we don't hate drive + we hate paying for things. the content is great though.
The S4 B5's on RS4 specs run way hotter then RS4's.
i did a backflip when this was uploaded! nose heavy but dear lord that v6 hauls ass :)
+Xero to 60 Volunteer yours for Matt to drive!
Always loved this generation of S line Audis. If I could afford the up keep on one i' d be allll over it. Maybe one day
Stock B5 S4 block is good for +400WHP and with built motor you can do +600WHP but if you want a crazy setup then you can do a VR6 with single turbo swap or do a B5 RS4 swap and keep twin turbos which both can do +800WHP
is the B7 RS4 not available as an Avant in the US?
+vivalaphill nope
Rafi M sad.
that's depressing
+vivalaphill I don't think any Avants are available in North America, but I may be wrong. *Looks intently at new RS3*
Captain Falcon there is no A3 avant anywhere on earth, sorry.
ironically these 2.7ts aerre really reliable engines. its the stock k03s that are trash.
Nice ride, Gabe!
Will you be doing a video on your new Volvo eventually?
The Volvo isn't mine, it's my girlfriends
+TheSmokingTire ahh okay, would still be awesome though.
+TheSmokingTire Do it anyway would be sweet. What Volvo is it, S60? Polestar/R-design?
+Dieseltrallan It's a V60 polestar R-design, I hope he makes a video about it.
Evan Fraser Yea would be nice with some diversity with some swedish engineering.
Absolutely love these cars! But that maintenance cost bruh!
Can you do a review on a b5 a4 1.8t quattro?
I don't get the issue with the push-down function in order to put it in reverse... I own a B5 1.8T and it has never been an issue.... same goes for my friends or parents B5..
Been waiting for this video forever 👍😍
Now, heres an Audi that i'd actually want to own. I'd still have to go BMW if I ever went German, but this is a very nice car.
I have a 2016 full bread hybrid goat, would you be willing to one take it?
Finally a b5 s4!
You haven't got a fucking clue what you're talking about, do you? LOL
If it brings a smile to face but not as reliable as a Honda so be it lol.
can't wait for the review of the new focus rs he ordered 😄😄
This guy needs a stage 3+ clutch from AMD, JHM or Southbend. What is the point of a B5 S4 if your not launching it. About time you reviewed a B5 S4, Thank you!
all that building and you stuck with the four spoke wheel?
in europe we have the RS4 374hp, and audis home tuner ABT makes 540hp out of these things from factory :)
All VW/Audi products from that time period, regardless of color. It's the New (Neu?) Malaise Era (1998-2005) affecting German cars. It's not just the blue :p
Cool video though, and nice conversation
If only we had weather like that , in canada.
We do...July/August.
nice little Video. haha funny you mentioned the Nogaro curse. Now you got me scared to drive my B8 dam you Matt lol. always love you video's
that engine in an 80s hatchback would be a beast
I really wanted a b5s4, but after Matt saying that the car doesn't like to turn, is there a sedan with a TT 6cyl and AWD that has the engine further back?
+Tedlasman A BMW 335xi... a 2009 or 2010 is the one to get. It still has the twin turbo engine (they went single turbo in 2011 I think), but has the updated I-drive. The tt n54 engine also makes this great car to chip tune... like with JB4 (google it, you will be sold). And it will also go around a corner without under steering into a tree. Don't test dive one until you have space in you garage tho.
+Albert Ayars BMW awd seems to be pretty garbage afaik though. Thanks, I'll take a look at that one.
Did the seat do you any justice? They look kinda comfy
Matt, will you drive a healthy non-KA 240SX s13 soon? I would love to hear your impression of them, or if you have driven one before did you like it and what don´t you like about them?
any b5 1.8t's coming up Matt? i recently picked one up and just started modding it, CAI, exhaust, test pipe. apr stage 1 coming next.
Hey Matt, I have B6 S4 and if I recall correctly you did too? How would you compare the handling of the B5 and B6, and which do you prefer overall?
what other euro cars are there besides audi, mercedes, saab, bmw,vw,range rover, volvo, the bmw mini, the fiat 500?
have you Mat have ever driven peugeots or renaults, seats.skodas,mg`s???
Nope we don't get that stuff in the US
to bad there are a couple of classic sports cars that whould be great on the 1 take...maybe one day a euro one take couple of speacial episodes stuf that americans dont get to drive kind of thing...ill let the idea stay here free of charge ...lol
Always love your shows 👍🏻 try and git in an S8 AUDI 2008 car
I have one A4 B5 Avant 2.4L V6 dark blue automatic. Its amazing fast, comfy, as space.I love is motor sound. yes we must be ready to spend some money once in while. for now I need to fix air conditioning, is losing gas. but its easy to fix, I hope. The only trouble until now as with the wire connected to fuel pump, toque 3 weeks the find a electrician mechanic available during Christmas period and I suggest to rewire, and was fix. ;)
nice car. Classic. I drive same, just 1,8TQS 132kw... I live where is a lot of snow and ice. And omg quattro helps me a lot and is a lot of fun too :)
The passenger side headlight washer doesn't match the other one. It bugs me for some reason.
Hey matt, im looking into purchasing either an e92 m3 or a w204 C63. Which do you recommend?
+rezabnet you should drive both and buy the one that makes you happier.
Always loved these.
The 2.7T is actually a very reliable motor. It's everything around the motor that fails lol. I own a 200k mile Nogaro "stage 3" car. Turbos, gaskets, seals etc are what fail
+TheCompyshop Yes! This is the truth. It's a cast iron block, those things are bullet proof.
hey where , is the guy with a log?
Beautiful S4!!!
Btw there are a lot of S4 B5's that sound sweet.....unfortunately I guess you haven't heard them yet :(
The Smoken tire could you do a Audi Quattro RS2 Avant.
How is the reliability on these generation cars? I haven't heard many good things 😁
+frabadob terrible, even when they were new.
+frabadob If you like working on cars more than driving them, this could be the car for you 👍
+TheSmokingTire
No such opinion for s4 b5 here in europe. We have no problems with them. Probably we can maintain and tune them properly.
Sincerely,
s4 b5 owner
+frabadob I have 223,00 miles on my S4. Take care of it and it will last. I daily drive the car.
Mine is stock and has 250.000 km. 0-100 km still 5.6 sec. European version.
Have to ask the brand/name of those rims
All I could think about for this video is how youtube doesn't allow 2k or 4k at 60fps yet. I think you upload in the best format they currently allow because 60fps is important in this kind of video but I really wish this were higher res while still being at least 60fps.
