Please for the love of your raid members: Do not use Frost Trap. Use Freezing Trap instead. I have heard so many people complain about not beeing able to see because of the huge Frost Trap under the boss. Any place Frost Trap might be useful is on Shade of Eranikus. Also haven't really seen any rHunter guides mention this...

It's in the shimmering flats. If you head to the shimmering flats through the passage from Gadgetzan in Tanaris huge left once you enter the shimmering flats and it's over there. The dummies are part of a warrior rune quest
It never did snapshot with spellpower gear. Snapshot only worked on % buffs like gloves or PI. Other than that it would always take your current spellpower every tick to calculate the dmg. The reason spellpower is no longer as good is because Chimera shot used to double dip on spellpower (namely taking spellpower x2) for the reapplied Serpent Sting, which is now fixed. So spellpower still has value but Agi is far superior now so there are simply no spellpower items that have that much spellpower on it to beat Agi alternatives
The flat 50% dmg nerf in PvP was stupid beyond reason. This is another proof they don't test things before releasing things. You start with 10-25%, not 50%. 2-3 classes were overperforming but this nerf hurt the "owned classes" even more. If 1 shot is too extreme, so is 3 mins (Retail) fights. So go with something in between. They did something simular in P1 and was not liked so it looks as usual they don't learn from earlier misstakes.

yup, got yelled at for frost traps last night. can confirm.
Freezing trap used to not trigger lock n load proc but it does now. A lot of MM hunters may not realize this yet

Dont use freez trap, but ice trap. It also proc TNT, but then the melee will see the ground effects better :D

Rofl, this rotation..and its still doing 25% less dps than 2 button melee hunter..
Mêlee hunter getting a double nerf in a bit/ raptor strike rune getting a 5% nerf. Plus a 10% nerf on the beast mastery rune . Sucks!
@@Fruza21 Thats like a 60 DPS loss. Melee is doing 300-500 more DPS than ranged.
rotation: play melee pve, spam disarm and mana drain in pvp hehe :D
