    For anybody wondering, a lot of the Novritsch brand optics are “Pinty” brand. I’ve been using them for a long time and they really are amazing, and when I brought the Novritsch scope it was no different, just a higher price and a different logo

      Although Novritsch already sells the montage-block for the scope, so maybe order the scope mount from novritch and the rest from pinty or something.

    Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus!It's a great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!

    A good difference between the 1-4x20 scope and the sniper scope is the input lens diameter (not the one you put your eye on, the one towards the front of your gun). A sniper scope usually has a 40 or 50mm input lens, while the first scope you mentioned is a 20mm lens (that's what the 20 in 1-4x20 stands for), which will result in a far narrower field of view compared to a usual sniper scope.

    I ran Iron's first game out, it wasn't easy to hit anything with those but they work well enough and you don't have to worry about the lens being shot out. I now have a couple of different red dots, a flip to side magnifier, a period replica of a Kar98K sight (RIF specific to my S&T) and a low power zoom 40mm for the sniper. Haven't had chance to run them yet but the flip over with red dot on my SIG 552 looks great however it also makes it a little top heavy... just something to bare in mind if you fancy trying that combo.

  • @sogerc1
    @sogerc1 2 года назад +6

    I struggled a lot with the FTS magnifier and red dot combo mostly because of the looks, and I though it would be fast but the problem is the weight bulkyness like they said and also what they didn't say is that the magnifier also magnifies your dot. If you have a 3MOA dot it becomes 9 or 12MOA, it's just huge.
    Also, careful with cheap red dots, they may have parallax, as in the dot will not move perfectly with your head and you'll miss.

    I don't care that much for airsoft, I am more interested in practical use of real firearms, however your channel and e-shop are amazing and both satisfy my needs. I am from Czech Republic and I just purchased scout light from your internet shop and I hope it will serve me well. My friend has bought an LPVO from you sometime ago, has been using it for the past two years on his 7,62x39 and it still holds zero. I don't care what you say, your products are high quality and work on real firearms just fine :D

    I have a stigmatism so I got tired of using a red star optic but thought they were my only choice. I tried a LVPO but the weight put me off. Then I learned about prismatics. I got my hands on a Burris RT3x micro prismatic and I love it. I like the fixed magnification since my eye sight isn’t perfect so it helps with target acquisition. And since it’s the size of a red dot, it keeps the weight down.

    Scopes arent just about magnification and looks, diameter of the objective lens is important too. 1-4x20(?) might have good magnification range for airsoft, but 3-9x50mm will be brighter, and will have better eye relief in comparison, so your eye wont have to be in perfect position when using it as much as in 1-4x20

    • @billmaragos2812
      @billmaragos2812 2 года назад +5

      A 40 or 50mm lens will also provide a much wider field of view when looking through it.

    3-9x40 scopes on both my SSG-10 and Mk14, reflex on ACR. Three different gear sets with optics that work best for their individual areas. Mk14 for urban milsim and working as a marksman with backlit scope, SSG-10 for woodland sniping with standard hunting scope, ACR for any and all CQB with red green reflex, or the iconic CoD red dot

    Also if you want to use IRON SIGHTS get MAGPULS because those can flip up in a second with out the need to reach for it. It all comes down to and with how you train before you go to the range. A little thought on what can be helpful if your battery dies or go straight forward running IRON Sights.
    Ho many people utilize there IRON SIGHTS in AIRSOFT besides putting them up for looks do you use them and is it preference for you?
