I just use a free file renamer like AF5 Rename. It does a great job of batch renaming when you don't care about the episode name and all you want is a S01E02 format.
@EposVox I know you prob still use FileBot, but have you run across anything better since you made this video? Curious why you didn't make video about the cmd line with FileBot. Hope to see you make a comparison video between Tiny Media Manager/FileBot/TheRenamer/Master Media Manager/ and others that may exist. I know many many people are looking for comparison videos for renaming media with 99.9% accuracy!! Hope to find new videos soon expanding on this subject as it is a HUGE TOPIC right now on forums from plex to reddit! Thanks man!

Can you do a video on how to setup/configure MediaPlayerClassic? which version to use, codec, config, etc... ??
I mean, that would depend entirely on your wants and needs. If you do video editing, just install the latest build from their website. If you don't do video editing, install the Community Codecs Pack and use the version that comes with it. There's not much to it, it plays your files lol
I meant for best playback settings? i though you might have some special settings for best IQ or something like that.
what happns when MKV cant read a Disk even though theres nothing wrong with the dvd sometimes i get message saying cant read disc error message any ways has this ever happned to you or anyone else is there a fix for this
$20 for this software is reasonable and fair these days. It's an honest upfront cost and not a monthly thing like most software like this is these days
I wish there was an alternative app for win 7 for my Plex database. The only thing that works is manual edits. Thanks for the vid anyway.

Does anybody around here have experience using FileBot or FileZilla to rename files which are stored on a seedbox? My plex library needs a big overhaul and I don’t want to use any local storage in this process.

zak wern It’s for shows that you already have downloaded, sonarr only corrects shows you download through sonarr

Filebot seems cool and being a niche product kind of understand the price, however $5 seems more reasonable.
I guess Filebot raised their price. It's not $19, it's $48 on the above link. Windows store, it's $39.

This video showed me that I'm better off to keep using Rename My TV Series instead of paying for Filebot.
TVRename is much better and is still being updated
Another thing the Filebot will do is download your subtitles for you.

What's missing from filebot between 4.7.9 and the latest version today?
Filebot.An OK program but often doesn't start, just a white empty frame. Now they want 20.00 for it in the Windows Store. Definitely not worth it.

Service is very bad, very unprofessional manner.
Lisence just doesn't work.
Over complicated and waste of money. Just type it in yourself. The 9 mins wasted on this video I could have finished 3 seasons already.
It takes 2 clicks and about 10 seconds per group of files once you know what you're doing. It's a massive time saver. Can still get the free version too
Filebot is just bad
I'm looking for an mp3 tag renamer that will access a database to save the ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE of a song.... for example a Beatles song may have come out in 1964, but it's on a compilation that was printed in 2011... I would want the date to show as 1964.
