keep it goin birds. When you go through stretches with cold bats it’s nice to have the starters step up. We need to get more run support though. LETS GO O’s!
I watched the replay of Mateo rounding third about a dozen times... “AND THEY’RE WAVING HIM IN!!!” (crowd going wild.)😜 Love it! Thank you Jorge for that great awesome speed!
Everytime Mateo kicks it into high gear is one of the most exciting things to watch in baseball today. His helmet always flies off of his head, meaning he's REALLY flying. I hope he'll be with the Orioles for a few years. Adding in his Gold Glove level defensive magic, he's a glue guy.
I live in Portland Oregon. Raised in Baltimore. It makes me homesick at this time of year. I love my O'S!!! I'm hoping that we have a very good season. We a good young team. I like every damn player that we have. I grew up when we had the best farm system in Baseball. I'm kinda getting that mid 70's early 80's feeling about this team. LET'S GO O's!!!!!!!!
Deja Vu. Elias has restored the farm system to arguably the best in the game. The Orioles came into spring training with guys who are capable of starting in the majors as impact players who had no chance of making the Orioles' opening day roster. This organization is stacked for years to come
I'm happy that Camden is more full than it has been in a loooong time. I remember, even on weekends, having the stadium having less than 10k, atleast the average. Our last big average attendance was 20k back in 2018 and 30k in 2014. I bet this year we're gonna average over 35k. I think it can only hold 45k IIRC.
Tigers: *Use super strategic thinking, bringing in an outfielder for a 5th infielder in order to prevent a run.* Also Tigers: *Immediately throws a wild pitch right after.*
I know it got scored as a wild pitch, but it looked to me like the catcher tried to backhand it rather than dropping to smother it and it kicked away. Actually, it looked like he could have caught it in the air. Every time I watch other team's catchers, I appreciate Rutschman all the more.
Wow what a game!!! I was getting really nervous about getting no-hit. Something like that can throw a team into a mini slump or worse. But our boys figured out a way to get it done! Love this team, Go O’s!!!
That’s the last time that left fielder will patty-cake a throw into cutoff with Mateo rounding third, needed to respect that speed and the O’s aggressive base running way more than he did… great win and great streak, go O’s!
I was listening on radio until 10th inning and walked to neighbors to catch end. I couldnt figure out how Frasier got on 2nd Base until watching this. I forgot they put man on 2nd now in extra innings.
I was thinking if that was the new rule but wasn’t sure. Thanks for confirming. But will they also do this in the playoffs? Guessing they probably won’t.
Yeah a convincing 9-2 win is nice.. but it's something about those ugly games won. It shows the grit and character of this team. They definitely got that dawg in em and I could see it towards the end of last season. The league is put on notice! Baltimore will be playing October baseball this year. I'd be willing to bet money on that too 💯💯
A win is a win! No matter how pretty it is. The pitching has come around and I love it! The offense will have days when it’ll struggle, but if the Orioles keep pitching like they have for the last week then they will always have a shot at the W, and that’s really all you need. Keep it going guys! Love it!
Also, whether it's you guys or the MASN channel, PLEASE post the entire time Kevin Brown was in left field, fully unedited. That was so gloriously awful it must be remembered long after.
@Jake Alden To celebrate the Little League kids being there, Kevin Brown ran from the booth over to left field where the Lakeshore Blue Jays were sitting. Jim Palmer was left to do play-by-play and he was really, really terrible at it. Kevin tried to take over when he finally got there in between interviewing the kids, but trying to call a game from left field with a bunch of kids blocking the way had predictable results. Meanwhile, the kids were being kids and moving about, getting easily confused by Kevin's questions, and trying (and failing) to pay attention to both him and the game. Once the 3rd inning ended, Kevin had to run back, so Palmer somewhat attempted to do more PBP.
I hate McKenna so much. Even when he makes a great catch, the first thing I notice is the fact he overran the ball and had to reach back. Did he do that on purpose to make himself look great? Or is he just that bad a fielder that he has to get lucky to do something nice? Even on the fly ball in the 8th, he ran past the ball and had to reach behind him to catch it, which, even if he had a strong arm, made his throw to the plate weak.
I don’t get Hyde’s lovefest with him either. But maybe with Cowser, Kjerstad and others on the way it’ll be a thing that sorts itself out. His days have to be numbered.
Exciting to see the starting pitching we have from a real farm system. Like the O’s had back in the day. Not like having to trade everything away for a few mediocre starters.
Rodríguez vs Rodríguez, great match, unforgettable game, Baltimore defeat Detroit... since 2018 Baltimore and Detroit was in the basement, now Detroit keep in the hole while Baltimore is rising...
this lineup structure doesnt seem to be working. it feels so obvious that the lineup should be structure [see below] but Hyde doesnt seem to want to change too much 1. Cedric Mullins CF 2. Adley Rutschman C 3. Ryan Mountcastle 1B 4. Ryan O’Hearn DH 5. Austin Hays LF 6. Jorge Mateo SS 7. Ramon Urias 2B 8. Gunnar Henderson 3B 9. Adam Frazier RF
Am I like not allowed to watch games or something? First 7 innings they get perfect gamed, Perez gives up a run in the 8th. I turn it off and go away, they win. I mean, you're welcome, Os, because otherwise you'd have been absolutely and historically obliterated by one of the worst teams in baseball, but this cosmic karma or whatever I have stuck on me needs to go away.
A magical 7 innings pitched for Detroit's starter completey wasted. Good teams find ways to win games and bad teams find ways to lose games. Lol 😂 from an O's fan who was there with my 3 kids
Yeah had me until I heard that womans voice. I am out. No woman has ever play MLB keep them out of the booth. Sick and tired of this woke agenda. You can keep it.
keep it goin birds. When you go through stretches with cold bats it’s nice to have the starters step up. We need to get more run support though. LETS GO O’s!
Absolutely!
Yeah we got quite a few guys that need to start getting out of these hitting slumps.
How amazing it is to see the Yard packed on a Sunday once again… our boys still got that magic and the fans to back them👏🏼👏🏼
I watched the replay of Mateo rounding third about a dozen times... “AND THEY’RE WAVING HIM IN!!!” (crowd going wild.)😜 Love it! Thank you Jorge for that great awesome speed!

Man these kids are fun to watch
When things go right, they just go right. Lets go Orioles Magic!

I agree. A good play by the catcher and that doesn't happen. It only goes down as a wild pitch since it hit the dirt first
So great to see things rolling the O’s way! And it’s because of their hard work and dedication, that’s the important part! Go O’s!!!
This Jorge Mateo is crazy 😅🥶🥶 go Baltimore
Orioles are playing solid ball all the way around. Pitching has made a difference...
Wow what a game!!! I was getting really nervous about getting no-hit. Something like that can throw a team into a mini slump or worse. But our boys figured out a way to get it done! Love this team, Go O’s!!!

The absolute deafening roar when Bautista steps out is amazing
Let's go O's!
ORIOLES MAGIC IS IN THE AIR
I love to see Baltimore show how much they love their baseball too !!! Lets go O’s !!!!!!
As an Orioles fan, I'm surprised the Tigers didn't let Rodriguez go for the shutout.
I was listening on radio until 10th inning and walked to neighbors to catch end. I couldnt figure out how Frasier got on 2nd Base until watching this. I forgot they put man on 2nd now in extra innings.

Over these last couple weeks, our pitchers have been showing everything our arms have been missing for years. This is fun.
I love this team

it was embarrassing to watch. Just so bad.
I don't know what I missed but I'm glad I missed it.

You just HAVE to love the unpredictability of baseball!
can't stand watching a whole baseball game, but love watching highlights!
Fairweather fan lol
Stay hot Os this is your year baby.

Beautiful!
Keep them ugly wins coming. staying focused getting it done however they can
Lol I hear ya. But the offense needs to kick it up a notch, especially before they play the red hot Rays.

Yeah had me until I heard that womans voice. I am out. No woman has ever play MLB keep them out of the booth. Sick and tired of this woke agenda. You can keep it.
I don't think any booth announcer has played in the MLB.
I love this team
