But seriously, I can't listen to music while I'm charging, unless I buy a adapter....I really thought that they would send the airpods with the phone, but I think the main reason which they didn't send them is the prize. The airpods are more technical than just normal EarPods, one pair of the costs around 100-200€, the can't just give away 200€, come on, they are Apple.but I still prefer it better if they sends airpods with higher version of the phones, like with the 128 and 256 go versions..

^well I never said that. I just said "my iPhone 7 is "much better" than my old Samsung S7". I think the main problem with Android is the horrible app support. Many apps are literally ported from iPhone to Android and slightly updated to the different specs. Just to name a few worse, but big apps, on android: spotify, instagram or snapchat. All three have major flaws compared to the Apple equivalent. I had two very good devices on Android, the Samsung Galaxy (2012) and the S7 (2015) and both were replaced by iPhones. I really don't want to pay those overpiced $1000 bucks but honestly, the good Android devices all cost like $700+ ... :/
I'm leaving Apple because it boils down to value. I do respect Apple's quality, especially in terms of reliability, however there marketing makes you feel like if you don't have the latest and greatest your product is essentially worthless. I'm at the point that I am going to accept Technology is advancing so fast that I'm slowing my self down and not relying on features that I "may" use.

Well it's only trendy because you've had a good decade or so of advertising pushed down your throat just like everyone has to it's a trendy style sorta thing, but as weird gadgets like these keep popping up we'll get used to the variety and the wired look won't seem as trendy as before.
Bluetooth is the way to go! I hate struggling to untangle the earphones constantly. No more worries with much shorter cable on bluetooth earphones or them being tugged out of your ears. Trust me, it's totally worth charging it every other day.

You can, if you have just one in and press play it will switch to mono audio and mix the stereo down to one ear, if you then put the other one in will switch back to stereo.

For those curious, the reason for the delay was because Apple had trouble getting the two to sync with each other. Normally in Bluetooth headphones one ear receives the signal and kicks it over to the other (or a main unit splits it to both buds), but Apple instead had the signal sent to both pods equally. The issue was that they would get out of sync so one plays very slightly ahead of the other. Took them a while to fix that issue
If I recall correctly, Apple will actually send you a new single Airpod if you happen to lose one. Also, you can lose a lot of other things in the drain...

I always use Apple earbuds on my bike cause I lost my really good Samsung ones. However, at least one earbud pops out at least once on every bike ride, but of course, it's caught by the wire. There at least needs to be an option to add some sort of "safety catch support thing" to connect to it like the wireless samsung ones have.

I have gotten to use these multiple times when I go over to my friends house. I am an android user and I can say they aren't as bad as ppl make them out to be, but they are very overpriced for what you get tbh. yes, they are better than the old ones , but it is common sense that the new gen should be improved so that isn't really anything to be amazed at. I did say they aren't bad, but they aren't amazing either. the sound quality isn't amazing and honestly kind of underwhelming at times for the price. If they were priced better then I would probably rate then higher. For now 7/10 for me based solely on them being too overpriced for the quality.

Even though "they sound similar to the wired ones" is a description of the sound quality what else is there? There is no mentioning about the bass, treble, high & lows etc. which are important things to look for when buying headphones, especially if the price range is around 150$! This is a review of an audio product, not a pair of shoes or anything like that. So yes I think that this reviewed lacked infromation about the sound quality.
For half the price I could get a BT 4.0 adapter with aptX for my Shure SE215 and the combined cost wouldn't be too far off from these for decent IEMs instead of, essentially, just bluetooth earpods. Oh, Apple...
These are nice but things like double tapping them to then ask Siri to turn up or down the volume is far slower than clicking the inline remote, Siri is bad enough, and now you have to vocalise in a public or private space which also involves more steps, this is where Apple are starting to make things less simple and more complex. Dropping the MagSafe on the MacBook pros was another, the protruding camera on the iPhone 6. These are subtle changes across all apple products in recent years and I doubt Steve jobs would have ever allowed most of them.

Watching in 2021.. Wireless audio has improved so much now because of those original AirPods. Everybody has been copying them over the past 5 years and companies like Sony doubled down on their technology to make it better which gave us the wonderful WH-1000XM4.

Well it's only trendy because you've had a good decade or so of advertising pushed down your throat just like everyone has to it's a trendy style sorta thing, but as weird gadgets like these keep popping up we'll get used to the variety and the wired look won't seem as trendy as before.
Bluetooth is the way to go! I hate struggling to untangle the earphones constantly. No more worries with much shorter cable on bluetooth earphones or them being tugged out of your ears. Trust me, it's totally worth charging it every other day.

Apart from the fact, that you have to charge them once in a while, by now there is absolutely no disadvantages that I can think of, that would make anyone use a pair of wired ones.

You can, if you have just one in and press play it will switch to mono audio and mix the stereo down to one ear, if you then put the other one in will switch back to stereo.

For those curious, the reason for the delay was because Apple had trouble getting the two to sync with each other. Normally in Bluetooth headphones one ear receives the signal and kicks it over to the other (or a main unit splits it to both buds), but Apple instead had the signal sent to both pods equally. The issue was that they would get out of sync so one plays very slightly ahead of the other. Took them a while to fix that issue
once I get them, I'm going to super glue it to my friends ear while he's sleeping and play Darude Sandstorm for 2 weeks

I always use Apple earbuds on my bike cause I lost my really good Samsung ones. However, at least one earbud pops out at least once on every bike ride, but of course, it's caught by the wire. There at least needs to be an option to add some sort of "safety catch support thing" to connect to it like the wireless samsung ones have.

I have gotten to use these multiple times when I go over to my friends house. I am an android user and I can say they aren't as bad as ppl make them out to be, but they are very overpriced for what you get tbh. yes, they are better than the old ones , but it is common sense that the new gen should be improved so that isn't really anything to be amazed at. I did say they aren't bad, but they aren't amazing either. the sound quality isn't amazing and honestly kind of underwhelming at times for the price. If they were priced better then I would probably rate then higher. For now 7/10 for me based solely on them being too overpriced for the quality.

Even though "they sound similar to the wired ones" is a description of the sound quality what else is there? There is no mentioning about the bass, treble, high & lows etc. which are important things to look for when buying headphones, especially if the price range is around 150$! This is a review of an audio product, not a pair of shoes or anything like that. So yes I think that this reviewed lacked infromation about the sound quality.
For half the price I could get a BT 4.0 adapter with aptX for my Shure SE215 and the combined cost wouldn't be too far off from these for decent IEMs instead of, essentially, just bluetooth earpods.

These are nice but things like double tapping them to then ask Siri to turn up or down the volume is far slower than clicking the inline remote, Siri is bad enough, and now you have to vocalise in a public or private space which also involves more steps, this is where Apple are starting to make things less simple and more complex. Dropping the MagSafe on the MacBook pros was another, the protruding camera on the iPhone 6. These are subtle changes across all apple products in recent years and I doubt Steve jobs would have ever allowed most of them.

Watching in 2021.. Wireless audio has improved so much now because of those original AirPods. Everybody has been copying them over the past 5 years and companies like Sony doubled down on their technology to make it better which gave us the wonderful WH-1000XM4.
