Apple is not fully committed to a wireless future if they were they would have added wireless charging to the iphone the technology has has been in phone for a while. The reason they removed the headphone jack is because apple owns the lightning port so everyone who wants to make a product using it has to pay apple royalties. It was a a business decision not a push for a wireless future

Kinda late but there is also something that makes the AirPods worth it. They are ridiculously durable(weird to say “durable” and Apple on the same sentence). I have dropped mine in water, slammed them on the ground accidentally, stepped on them, etc. and they still work perfectly fine! Looks brand new!

I Bought a JBL Bluetooth Earbuds the other day. It says 8 hours of battery but i used it all day when I first bought it, all through the next day, and most through the next day before I had to charge it. Charging took 20 minutes.

Nobody has actual "wireless" charging because the dock still needs a wire. That's why they did't include "wireless". If you look up rumors of the iPhone 8, you'll see that Apple is working with a company to put actual wireless charging in their phones. Plus look at the AirPods, they're wireless.

Great review. I'm glad you touched on the fit of the AirPods not being exactly snug in your ear. Also the fact that "one-size fits all" might not be the best way to go without any silicone or foam tips to ensure a better fit.

if you're into cans as well, I own audio technica ones that can do 30-40 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, and they support 3.5mm wired connection too. by using wired with my laptop and wireless with my phone, they last me at least 10 days on a single charge.

Well, even though I needed a day to get accustomed to them, I absolutely love my AirPods. I didn't realize in advance how much I was gonna love them. I was a bit afraid that the sound wouldn't be synced well enough to video, but they absolutely nailed it.
Bluetooth can sound alright, but I don't think bt can sound as good as wired earphones. I like both, which is why removing the earphone jack was a dumb move to me.

I have them and they’re perfect for general use. Really simple to use and actually have a far better sound than the earbuds that come with an iPhone. I also compared them to some Bose in ear headphones and the sound was a little better in the AirPods.

I love my AirPods. I recommend them if you have your headphones in all the time, however if u rarely use headphones I'd stick with the regular EarPods. I actually think it's better sound quality and there is more bass, and there it's really amazing how much sound that can actually come out of those small things. It exists much better headphones out there but they're probably headsets so if your more comfortable with smaller things these are really good.
Game changers if you go to the gym a lot! Decent sound quality and they stay in your ear surprisingly well. Really good product depending on your lifestyle for sure.

Tbh I could care less if we got wireless charging for iPhones; it doesn't seem very convenient I think I would rather just plug in my phone. I do see when they can be useful though.
I Bought a JBL Bluetooth Earbuds the other day. It says 8 hours of battery but i used it all day when I first bought it, all through the next day, and most through the next day before I had to charge it. Charging took 20 minutes.
And they sound great with excellent noise isolation. Oh, and it's impossible for the to fall out of your ears. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Nobody has actual "wireless" charging because the dock still needs a wire. That's why they did't include "wireless". If you look up rumors of the iPhone 8, you'll see that Apple is working with a company to put actual wireless charging in their phones. Plus look at the AirPods, they're wireless.
Energous has been bullshitting about 'truely' wireless tech for years. Haven't been able to show us shit yet.

It's wireless in the sense that there doesn't need to be a physical plug to make a connection with the phone to start charging. Yes, you still need a charging pad, cable, and wall wart but I don't see the problem in that anyways; you're not gonna be bringing the wireless charging pad along with you wherever you go as it's meant to be stationary.

Its rlly hard for me to wear silicon or rubber earpods or airpods pros. This is why I use the airpods. The reason why I struggle is because I have a skin tag on my ear. I've had it since I was born and it stops alot of things from going in my ears.

Great review. I'm glad you touched on the fit of the AirPods not being exactly snug in your ear. Also the fact that "one-size fits all" might not be the best way to go without any silicone or foam tips to ensure a better fit.

I love how easy they are to pair and use them a lot for phone calls and casual listening but due to the complete lack of sound quality in music I tend to use my Bose ear buds for working out and running.

Yeah I’m essentially wasting money on wireless headphones. Only reason I’ll buy them is because I use headphones a lot and I’ve had occasions where they wire gets on the a door handle or on something and just pulls them out of my ear and hit the floor or pull them out of my phone and I get scared they’ll get damaged and such but ye.
Also because since I have the X and it doesn’t have the jack and when it has low battery I can charge it on the car and listen to music with them. 😉

if you're into cans as well, I own audio technica ones that can do 30-40 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, and they support 3.5mm wired connection too. by using wired with my laptop and wireless with my phone, they last me at least 10 days on a single charge.

Well, even though I needed a day to get accustomed to them, I absolutely love my AirPods. I didn't realize in advance how much I was gonna love them. I was a bit afraid that the sound wouldn't be synced well enough to video, but they absolutely nailed it.

I do have the AirPods and they are great! I couldn’t ask for something better, good battery, good sound louder than the EarPods.
Bluetooth can sound alright, but I don't think bt can sound as good as wired earphones. I like both, which is why removing the earphone jack was a dumb move to me.
headphone jacks on phones aren't really that great for someone looking for the best sound quality tho.

I have them and they’re perfect for general use. Really simple to use and actually have a far better sound than the earbuds that come with an iPhone. I also compared them to some Bose in ear headphones and the sound was a little better in the AirPods.

I love my AirPods. I recommend them if you have your headphones in all the time, however if u rarely use headphones I'd stick with the regular EarPods. I actually think it's better sound quality and there is more bass, and there it's really amazing how much sound that can actually come out of those small things. It exists much better headphones out there but they're probably headsets so if your more comfortable with smaller things these are really good.
