See, tbh I agree. I've played dark souls since the first game. It's only got harder over time (kinda) Having kids is not a disability. Not having a pause button in any souls game is also not a disability. Long story short. If you've not played every souls game leading up to elden ring dlc. You might struggle. If you have kids, it's 100% going to take your attention away from learning the new boss tactics/power ups that help you beat them. I understand her beef to an extent. You need to put the time in If anything, the dlc reminds me of the og DS. We had no idea what we were doing. Eventually, you learned the game and bosses and learned from there. P.s. People with actual disabilities got this. Probably.
Dude you can pause elden ring it's just needlessly complicated this is how you do it you go in your equipment tab then press the help button and then hit Menu explanations Hope this help so you don't lose your progress😊
It shouldn’t be needlessly complicated and instead be a basic one-button command in the game then. Kinda silly to not include it since pausing works more as a time saver than as an exploit
Don't underestimate the power of words bro. But for you as a father do you think the effects of having a "pause" From the overall immersion and game design perspective is justified?

As a dad who wants to enjoy games, I just don’t get the luxury to enjoy anything uninterrupted. So having a pause might allow me to die less and lose less tunes in the process 😂. Does not having a pause immerse you more?
@@LuckyStrikeTech Yeah I mean the souls genre thrive on the design of safe points in the map and having to lock in the game giving the feeling of immersion at any given time. I guess I was lucky to not have a child but I do rush off to a safer place and hop out the game real quick if I need to do something in earnest. It's kinda suck when I'm in the middle of a boss fight though. But that's the game design. And I prioritize the game design over the times I will die in that boss over real life situations.

Bro she’s Australian. If you come to Australia and listen to Australians they all talk “non pc” in everyday conversations.

I wish I had a pause button yes but I get your point. It’s not something that I absolutely need for a few chance situations
@@LuckyStrikeTech I just realized there's a pause button offline. Go to "help" In the menus. It will pause the game. Hopes it help you.

im disabled my fav game is elden ring she is saying actually trying to hijack the term disability
Situational disability is already a term used in the industry. It's not referring to actual physical disabilities. Stop being a snowflake
