Do more than exploring, I hope. They're definitely in the top 5 alternative bands of all time--staying power (30+ years and still creating new music), big discography, great song writing, and Carrie is one of the greatest guitarists of our generation. They also do something completely unique--in their earlier albums, both Carrie and Corin would sing DIFFERENT lyrics at the SAME time (not harmonizing), so your brain is pulled from one set of lyrics to another, like some type of musical brain experiment! I've seen them live 6 times now starting in the 1990s, and each time they kicked ass.
Hopey tried to get Maggie on stage, but it didn't work out. Hopey didn't really know how to play at first. She got better, slowly over time. (IDK why I equate Corin with Maggie and Carrie with Hopey...) Don't look at Locas by x hernandez
stop whining! I love Janet, but you need to be glad that the core of Carrie and Corin are still around after more than 30 years--they were on a long hiatus before and I'm just glad they came back. These women are legends. Bands evolve, lose band members (even key ones), get new ones, etc. ALL THE TIME. BTW, saw them earlier in the year, and they were great--played a long set, mix of new and old songs (around 22), very enthusiastic and happy audience.
Lovely as usual. Great band!
THE BEST VERSION OF HUNT YOU DOWN
idk how they screwed up the studio one so bad, its such a good song live
Just discovered this band from watching Portlandia. Pretty damn good stuff.

@@blakewu1375 after the way they handled the situation, and ousted Janet, respectfully: nah, dude
