The first time I took communion was the day of my baptism, after a long period of foundation lessons to make me understand the decision I took when I answered the altar call. Then I started attending Salvation Ministries and everything changed. I didn't listen to my aunt and uncle that told me certain things about the pastor, my uncle is a pastor. I've also had issues with the speed of Salvation Ministries: foundation class is few minutes (at most an hour) and you are expected to speak in tongues in that short class and get baptized immediately after. Bible school is a week long 😮. Recently they started a year long program (the first ever). There had been signs of messiness but I didn't want to dwell on faults. Unfortunately, there's a limit to nonsense you can take and hide, I've reached the point where I can't sit in a service of 1 hour 30 minutes anymore, full of things I don't want to hear again. Some messages are nice until you get to some aspects and my chest hurts because even my body is reacting now.
The Catholic,, Anglican and older orthodox churches got this right! They reverence the Holy Communion and you must be baptized and be in a state of Grace (reconciled with God) b4 you can approach the table to recieve the Body and Blood of Christ! This is scriptural and should be encouraged
@@ProphetEDRufus not all orthodox churches do that. I was baptized in Baptist church, I was 15 and just passed WAEC, so aware enough for certain things. I answered altar call and we had a class spanning a month or so and we were baptized in the presence of others who had also done this, before communion. Before then, I had never tasted communion.

For some reason, I don't even know how I stopped, I just don't feel comfortable taking communion just anywhere. Lets make sure we follow scripture and it lines up with what's being said and still be aware of unholy communion.

This is a good talk. The Catholic wafers are not the bread that Jesus talks about. The bible says he took bread a break it. Why is there is no breaking of bread. Let us understand why the catholic wafers are rounded. Can we go back to bread.

A person should be taking bread and wine communion after the pattern of Jesus. You’re to do it in remembrance of him as a memorial of him. So it’s not good to only take it once when the scripture says we are to do it in remembrance of him as a memorial of his death.

The moment they brought communion Holy Spirit asked me not to partake but I was afraid what will people think if I don't take. The juice spilled on my white blouse😂😂😂😂because I didn't listen and God didn't want me to partake.

What does that dream mean? I also had it, twice. I had joined a new church because I had changed area of residence. This man of God quickly pushed me to be a lead minister in his church but after some weeks, I started having dreams of him wanting to sleep with me and I would refuse him in the dream.
