Lucky Chops man, this was one early video that went viral with them in it, they are selling out venues now, they are crazy. As a trombonist (really I play all brass and a bunch of other stuff but trombone is my OG) Josh Holcomb is ridiculous, he has a flexibility and grit that I respect. The way he shakes and trills his notes is so hard to do and I have been playing for something like 7-8 years. Lip trills are so flashy and I love them, but performing them in the moment is a challenge because it requires you to slightly release the clarity of the note and use precise air control to shake the pitch between harmonics. Also as someone who did marching band for a while and marched Sousa for two years Neck is the absolute BOMB.

I feel your pain. Former music Ed major, trombone player with 14 years xp under my belt. I have a horn but no place to blow. If I had my chops back, both physically and mental(music theory stuff), I'd love to jam with them.

Im not sure if you're gonna see this, or if you have gotten a sax yet, but if you do get one of those electric saxes, I definitely recommend checking out the Yamaha YDS's or the EMEO.
I currently have a YDS 150 and it's definitely been a blast to play.

I played in a "white" marching band, but a) we had our moments, and b) in hs we would jam with some soul, and c) I've seen a brass band where they cover different rock songs among others, and the tuba keeping up on those bass parts is crazy.
