    What a wonderful book, the images are so pretty. I’d save them all to reuse, they’re just too precious to get rid of. I’d use the book pages in so many ways. Loved this video. Thanks for sharing👍✌️🙏❤️✨

    SO PRETTY CAYLEE! I wish I could find pretty books like these abandoned... :) And I love the transformation you gave it. Pretty florals with gold foil are what life is all about. Can't wait to see what kind of beautiful layouts are you planning for this lovely book!

      Aw, I'm really grateful for Germany and its copious amounts of older books. You're so right, florals and gold make life so much better.

    Very pretty! Those corners make a huge difference in making the book look finished. And oh goodness, I giggled at you saying you hate glue... LOL!! That I was the only one who isn't wild about it!!

      YAY! Glue haters. We're a thing! I wish I could find more book corner styles. I have two and they're super overused in my journal stack.

    How do you prep the PAGES for use? Paint? Cover with paper?

    • @CayleeGrey
      @CayleeGrey  3 года назад +1

      I don't prep the pages for use. I use them as they are because I mostly collage with dry, tape glue. If I wanted to use watercolour or acrylic (very sparingly, since wet media will make the pages crinkly), I use white gesso first in a very thin layer with a silicone tool.

    This had a lot of fluff but not enough technique. I was looking for some more guidance from this video honestly.

    • @CayleeGrey
      @CayleeGrey  4 года назад +3

      I'm sure you'd be able to find a video with more technique, it's so much fun playing in an altered book. This is just the way I do it.
