Aye, but I must admit it was a shame not to camp there because those conditions have been rare as of recent months, if I had signal I probably would have stayed, got over the misery of the climb and had a good night 🤣 thanks for watching 👌
@@LeoManAndMountain Do you have a satellite communicator. I’ve got the Garmin Inreach. They are good mate, take away the worry of not having a phone signal. I know they aren’t cheap but worth the money. A lot of people have the Zoleo now, they are meant to be very good too.
@DAoutdoors I don’t unfortunately, I’ve a fenix 6 but am looking at getting the 7 as you can communicate via satellite with those. But there is something about being out of reach I like 🤣
Love the song more than it appears you are loving the hike/wild camp but I have to say Leo if your spider senses are tingling the get the BEEP out there pal Good luck for next time their are a lot of campers /hikers wish they had heeded their senses Hope alls good for the birth pal
I’ve gone for a solo camp 3 times now and actually only camped out one time. Last weekend I headed near the b29 crash site, got pitched up, sleeping mat out, pillow up and bag empty but still ended going up home due to an awful pitch and something just feeling off. I was disappointed to begin with but we all have to gut feeling
It can be off putting aswell but the best thing to do is to get back out as soon as you can, hopefully you get plenty of camps in and enjoy it, thanks for watching 👌
“Camping is a journey back to the simplicity of our ancestors in the embrace of Mother Nature.”
If you not sure of safe outcome, change plan. You did right 👍🏻
Hi mate, you did the right thing. If you have any doubts in the mountains then it's not worth risk. All the best mate, Dave.

I reckon we've all done it. I've got as far as putting the tent up and packed it all back down and went home.
Absolutely and no shame in it, just got to make the best decision for yourself 😅
