He was my favorite since KH2, I was happy as hell to see him back in one of the early Birth By Sleep trailers but I never thought he'd continue to be prominent even after that.
The biggest joke about that whole scene is that he would lose his patience… bruh you waited literally 100 years (at least) waiting for the main cast to arrive just to get smacked around a bit before calling your old friends to say “what’s up” you have patience for literal years

Mordexai Oh no doubt. My main gripe is with Xigbar and Luxu being one in the same despite them having vastly different characterization. Xigbar is clever and conniving, Luxu was a kinda timid, more of a follower. I just have a hard time buying him vastly changing his personality because he knew a guy that acted that way. I like the idea of Xigbar being some kind of mastermind I just think the way Nomura “connected” that concept to the whole MoM box plot was pretty weak.
@@fumblebag8458 Totally understand, I moreso see it as a character who, after years of being alone through multiple bodies, & probably had to sit through all the little to no progress of the Masters plan &/or multiple failed attempts to continue his assignment finally break. Especially since we don't know how exactly he lost his only remnant of the master, I believe so anyway. After some time he finally broke face & eventually became just as laid back as his master, as well as finally taking action into his own hands, all so he could get that missing piece & bring back the only allies he ever had.
You know what’s really interesting, when ever he’s around members of the Organization or Xehanort himself, Xigbar / Luxu acts playfully and mishievously, like a very vocal servent of Xehanort’s. Yet, when he’s around the heroes, espesially Sora, he acts a lot more cunning, vague, mysteriously, essentially a darker, more twisted version of the Master of Masters.
As if the Master of Masters isn't twisted. He tricked his apprentices into fighting each other and ultimately destroyed a world resulting in the death of several hundred people, including his apprentices.
Lord Kardok Fair point, but MoM in hindsight, seemed more comical and playful. It’s only when seeing the results of the roles he gave each Foreteller and Luxu that we realize MoM is probably the most evil character in the KH universe.
Lord Kardok he didn’t necessarily trick them. It was all already written. He just didn’t tell them what would ACTUALLY happen. Im sure he had a role too. And that was probably to tell them their was a traitor
I’d like to imagine he’s just as confused as us the entire time. You’ve got Ansem SoD turning him into a nobody, Xemnas and Organisation 13, then other crazy stuff with Y. Xehanort time travel shenanigans, leading to KH3. There had to have been a time when Xigbar sat down and thought *”Was all of this really necessary?”*
@@LuckiSir It's funny because he actually says that to Sora at some point, in Dream Drop Distance if memory serves. He knows Xehanort is completely insane, but since things will be fine at the end, he essentially doesn't sweat it and goes with the flow.
The amount of times somebody asked Xigbar, "Who are you?" just for him to glare back ominously honestly should've been a huge tip-off that something more was going on with him.
I am really loving this theory. How Luxu wanted to meet Sora personally, with no one watching, but Donald and Goofy are in the way. Or in Mulan's world, the dissapointed look on his face when Sora mistook him for Riku. How he's almost disappointed that Sora isn't as strong, or wise, as he remembers. Or when he says at 24:24. How he knows that more than anyone there. Or in DDD, he talks like he is having fun with Sora. That smile. It's like he knows what Sora will do. I'd dare even say this. "You think Xehanort's plan is crazy? You gave him the idea a long time ago."
So does, “I guess that must be why the Keyblade chose you, but MAN did it pick a dud this time. You don’t look like you’re half the hero the others were.”
@@MixSonaProductions ventus i belive, if they actually go through with the whole xiggy is luxu in kH UX, who knows we probably get a confrontation scene between luxu and ventus waaaaaaaaay b4 BBS
In the secret reports on kh3 he goes on explaining how he kept changing bodies and casting his form for centuries until there was a chosen one (xehanort) who manages to recreate the light vs darkness clash and he explains how his objective was to bring the M.O.M back but he could only do that after the clash happened. He’s basically black zetzu from naruto.
Huh... You know, I always thought it was weird how Xigbar saw Xion as Ventus, and then said the line; "why do you *always* have to glare at me like that", as if it had happened multiple times, despite Xigbar literally only meeting Ventus for a few minutes in Birth By Sleep. But now it's revealed that he's Luxu from the Union X era, and Ventus himself is also (somehow) from the Union X era... huh.
@ThiefRikku0306 if ven murdered strelitzia it could be that perhaps luxu/xigbar threatened ven on something if ven didn't kill her and the references with luxu/xigbar saying during the birth by sleep and 358/2 days storyline with ven and xion saying "he's got the angry look down", "do you always have to stare at me like i just drowned your goldfish?" (original text from the 358/2 days game) maybe it would indicate that after ven killed strelitzia he resented luxu/xigbar and gave him a mean look whenever he met up with him back then.
Every time that keyblade is shoved in his face, you can see him internally thinking "Oh, hey Master!" xD Course the hilarious thought of adding "Now where did I leave that damn box?" everytime Xigbar turns to leave a scene or conversion lol.
Nope, if he weren't Luxu he never would've acted the way he did he never once showed fear of Xehanort because after all he serves a different more powerful Master and they're the ones who hold the keys to the worlds and lights survival.
I now love the added context where Aqua asks him '' Who are you?''' and instead of an asnwer you get a moment of silence (which is unlike Xigbar;s persona) and a close up of his eye. Giving away he is not who he appears to be.
I can only imagine how lonely and difficult Luxu's life has been, living alone for over a thousand years to try and fulfill his Master's task and bring his only friends back (the Foretellers). What must he have gone through from Back Cover to present to change from a shy, unsure boy to a dark, conniving, bitter, man? How many worlds has he seen come and go? How many people has he witnessed die or even killed himself? How many timelines has he jumped through? How many failed Keyblade Wars have happened? I really hope they make a game about that but I'm not sure if his backstory will be done justice. There's just so much to explore.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if something happens where the MoM betrays him, and decided to get revenge by helping Sora defeat him, and that’s when his heart finally leaves his body and is put to rest.
Hm... at the time of Dark Road, 75+- years before the events of Birth by Sleep and therefore 87+- years before the events of Kingdom Hearts 3, Luxu was inhabiting Bragi and played as a class-mate of Eraqus. And he had a great-great-grandfather who fought in the last Keyblade War. Assuming each of his ancestors had a child in-between the ages of 20 and 40, Luxu has now lived between 150 and 200 years after the events of Union X where he was... hm... in his twenties or so. About two centuries... that's not as much time as I would have guessed based on hisbwriting but still more than enough to experience many things, some of which will change you... and your actions going forward. To think he stole the lives of enough people to make it through all those years, supressing their hearts to be powerless spectators while possibly leaving family and friends behind. Bragi could not have been older than 30 and Luxu was ready to discard him for Baldr... with that rate, how many faces must he have gone threw one could wonder.
God I hate how moments like these make me see so many things I didn't see before. I always knew Xigbar was sus but OH MY GOD he was SO suspicious. Anyhow with every passing day, I start to wonder more and more just how much Nomura actually planned things ahead of time.
12:20 Oh my god Luxu started the cu within the organization by citing suspicion within Zexion. Even found Marluxia who would be the leader of the cu. Took me years to fully understand the significance of this scene. Luxu wanted them to betray the organization. But my question is... Why? Then in KH3 Marluxia and Larxene are with Xemnas again probably via Luxu recommendation. It's crazy how Xehanort was just Luxu's puppet
I’ll take a stab at the why. I’m thinking that he wanted the Organization weak so that Xemnas could be taken out by Sora, allowing for Master Xehanort to actually return. This, in turn, allows for the clash to occur, and then Luxu regains The Gazing Eye/No Name. This is my guess, anyway.
Anyone else think given how Luxu/Braig/Xigbar adopted the M.O.M’s personality after 90 plus years and bonding with different vessels and “MAYBE” trained Xehanort and Eraqus with one of his many bodies to keep an “eye” on his Keyblade and make sure Xehanort obtained it that the reason the Master of Masters trusted Luxu/Braig/Xigbar to carry out his role... is because he is Luxu? Think about it, that would definitely fit into KH’s beloved/convoluted narrative and would make sense why he would trust Luxu out of all the other foretellers and have the same coat. I mean KH 3 epilogue reveals that his Xigbar form is just one of his many semblances over the decades and looks nothing like his old form. So chances are his future Master Of Masters form wouldn’t give away the fact he was Luxu/Braig/ Xigbar. I realize that the whole young version of yourself collaborating with your future self has been done with Xehanort, but given how that Book of Prophecy’s operates I wouldn’t be surprised if we learn that one of his many forms “Inadvertently” taught young Xehanort how to well pretty much be a “Time wizard” or whatever. My head hurts I need some Tylenol. I really do like long stories though so this update fits nicely.
It would be a cool idea, but Braig/Xigbar is supposed to be his final vessel. The first sentence of the 13th secret report reads "It seems this body, this name will be my last." MoM would have to either be a previous vessel, or someone else entirely.
Separate people entirely, "You six plus me makes seven." 7 darkness's against 13 light's, Xigbar hasn't been around for 90 years he makes it clear, "It seems this body, this name will be my last. The lives I have lived over the ages could fill volumes, but for now, I must focus on what matters most." and later says, "panning the ages in body after body, life after life, my task has been to keep vigil over the Eye as it passes from hand to hand. It has been a long time. Longer than I can express." So it's more likely that as much as 1,000~ years have passed since the time of the ancient keyblade war.
23:22 Just realizing right now that Saix was actually talking about himself at this moment - because he just said in KH3 that he lost his sense of purpose in the Organization because he didn't find the girl. And ending up destroying himself because he felt abandonned by Axel and the girl. DAMN NOMURA knew what he was talking about in 2.5 even random lines make sense now
A lot of that happens. For example, Ansem Seeker of Darkness declares darkness is the heart true esssence. Young Xehanort declares the same in the Toy Box world. Or when Xemnas declares Xion is the more worthy vessel. Xion is a vessel in the Keyblade War in three.
To think there was a forgotten time where that surfer-dude was one of the foretellers, and the other was a young Union Leader. Though Luxu's been around for centuries taking different bodies, but its still him underneath it all.
38:37 "I don't admire one guy leaping into danger if it means someone else might have to jump in to save him". Could that be a reference to how Sora will use the power of waking to save everyone else and then disappear while trying to save Kairi? And then Riku will have to "jump in" to save him? Considering how Sora ended up in the same place as the MoM it's possible that getting Sora to overuse the power of waking was part of the Master's plan. Or maybe Xehanort killing Kairi, and Sora disappearing after saving her was what was destined to happen and the Master based his plan on that?
Looking back on these scenes, I think Xigbar/Braig was legitimately surprised to see No Name in Xehanort's possession. In that moment, however, he quickly realized who Xehanort was--the Chosen One--the person he'd been waiting for.
That’s why it’s genius haha all the way back to kh 2 it says he has his own agenda in the journal. So, from the start nomura had some kind of plans with him.
@@wonderingobserver2231 this video doesn’t even go into day scenes, He has a lot of scenes in days. If you add days and Luxu scenes from UX it adds up to nearly 2 hours
I also noticed that Xigbar/Luxu during Dream drop distance had a moment of fear during sora’s explanation of my friends are my power. It seems to reason he fears of Sora’s potential to ruin everything the MoM has in store
I remember someone saying that it was Luxu having a nostalgic panic attack, considering Sora was backing up his words. And for the first time, Luxu wasn’t smarmy or arrogant; he got a heaping of Truth Pie smacked upside his face.
He's like that henchmen character with layers of his knowledge he hints at, but never says. and his reveal is what made me love his character even more.
At 19:18 Xigbar sees Xion as Ven in his casual clothes but he never saw Ven without his keyblade armor. Not to mention his reaction is someone to fear yet when they interact in BBS he's confident. However from the age of fairy tales so Xigbar acting with fear of seeing Ven may not make sense but Luxu acting in fear of seeing Ven makes plenty sense if Ven thwarted him in the past. I think Luxu took over Xigbar and copied his personality after BBS
Luxu: Ooh! Look who it is. One of the dandelions. Ventus! Ventus: You’re Xigbar! Luxu: Hmph, AS IF! Do you remember the name...Luxu? Ventus: What? What are you taking about? Luxu: My name isn’t Xigbar or Braig. My real name...is Luxu. *Fortellers appears* Ventus: Master Ira, Invi, Aced, and Gula!? Where’s Master Ava? Luxu: I told her on what I had to do. We fought last time then she just disappeared. Ventus: You What? Luxu: Oh kiddo. Where are your other dandelions? You know, Those four leader and their friends. Ventus: Who are you talking about? Luxu: Oh boy...Do I have to name them? Ephemer, Skuld, Brain, Lauriam, and his friend Elrena. Oh and also those two guys hmm what was their name again? Ah Myde and Rolud. Oh and Lauriam’s sister as well of course Strelitzia I believe that was her name? Oh wait she’s not here anymore because I was the one who struck her down. Ventus: *Brain gets hurt and scream* AAHHH! Luxu: Ooohh!! Now you’re remembering! Looks like Master Xehanort did you good. Okay don’t follow this. I just like making stuff up.
Actually, we have never met Braig or Xigbar, just Luxu. The Secret Reports by Luxu states Braig pretended to desire the No NameKeyblade to become Xehanort's subordinate. That happens before Master Xehanort and Braig meet in BBS. So we never meet the real Braig.
All these references right under our noses. With all these cutscenes, I know what is in that box. It should have been obvious from the moment I saw that box. KH III made it clear with all the talk about the puppets and hearts, especially since Re:Mind kept bordering on that specific topic. That's what's in the box. "That makes me the real keyslinger, if you catch my drift." - Braig to Terra Also soon after, in the next cutscene he appears in, he got the yellow eye. Thus he got Northed all the way back in BBS. Therranort's eyes are switching colors right during his internship with Ansem the Wise, after he got Norted. Xigbar is the one that found Marluxia, thus knowing / hinting about the previous keyblade wielders. "The chamber of Repose is part of a pair. The chamber of waking is the other. Another graveyard if you want to call it that. And that's where he'll find it. That's where he'll find his 'other friend'." - Xigbar to Zexion In fact the whole conversation he's talking about what happened to Xehanort, Terra, Aqua and Ventus in the Keyblade graveyard. He even states the plan of Xemnas, what, where and who they will find in Castle Oblivion, before even going to it. - If I were just any old dude. 'Cept I'm not. I'm with the organization. Nothing 'any old' about me." - Xigbar to Sora and gang "Maybe he'd like a hand to determine his fate." *Shows card to Demyx* - Luxord in Where Nothing gathers This is the same card he gives to Sora near the end of KH III. "Do you know what happens to those who lose their true purpose? Inevitably, they destroy themselves" - ? in Where Nothing gathers. Sora's fate as the organization drags him along. "Rambling, As if" - Xigbar to Sora in the Hall of Empty Melodies. Meaning that there is truth to what he's saying, with every word he utters. It's just that the receivers never / rarely are in line with what he's saying. Many of KH conversations have miscommunication, in which they always doubt what the other is saying and are also answering / wanting information based on what they think is the truth rather than what is actually going on. Ex: So in his many speeches demanding answer for his foes, while also giving none direct remarks on the things that are being said to him. As if he's written to through us of on purpose. In the end of Sora's battle with Xigbar. Xigbar fades after giving up. This is the first time, he does this. And we learn in KH III, that this is fake. Immediately after: "That was more difficult than I thought, but at least things are on track." - Braig to Young Xehanort after being complete again. When YX mentioned the ancient keyblade of MX, Xigbar squint his eyes. "Just say what you me. Oh, but I did though. No good ever come from putting other people first" - Sora to Xigbar and Xigbar to Sora in KH III. Reinforcing what he said in to Sora in KH II, when Sora stated that Xigbar was rambling. "Dooming others to take the fall with ya. Oh, and you can spare me the usual party line. Yes, hearts are powerful when they are connected. But if you put too much of that power in one place. Some of those hearts might end up breaking. Stil, Sora, that doesn't mean you should change. Accept the power you're given. Find the hearts to joined to yours." - Xigbar to Sora, predicting Sora's fate. Followed by: "Why would I ever take advice from you? As If! You don't have any choice but to follow this sweet little trail of bread crumbs. And in the end you'll what destiny has in store for you. In fact, your reward might be right around the corner. You're so close!" - Sora to Xigbar, while Xigbar continues laying it out to Sora.
Honestly xigbar first introductions on kh2 with his words are so ironic that iam shocked no one has ever mentioned it when xigbar enters the series he says that would work if I was just any OLD DUDE! accept iam not It’s ironic that later on this would get carried to the very person he was the right hand man of making original xehanort OLD! Oh yeah and the other irony is XIGBAR with the KH3 retcon he is OLD as Shiiit lol
Amazing how after all this time, the questions and answers were placed right there like a perfect scavenger's breadtrail, and too little picked up on it until the very end.
He calls it the Gazing Eye and then the Master of Masters says it's called the No Name and then in the KH3 secret reports, Luxu calls it the Gazing Eye anyways lmaooo
God, I love this man. Did I expect him to emerge as my favorite when I decided to watch cutscenes and/or playthroughs of all the KH games? No. But he endeared himself to me in BBS and just kept getting better.
@@CardCaptorDeadpool Lol its shown in the first scenes of the video. There might be more to it that we dont know of yet, but we know he was meant to keep the box safe and pass down the keyblade so MoM could see through the eye into the future and create the book of prophecies. Probably up until the next time the true KH is summoned (coincidentally by xehanort). The last few KH3 secret reports are clearly written by Luxu and give a little bit of insight.
8:30 I always found strange that Braig was at this scene, and seemed shoehorned just to have another boss fight. Turns out he probably was supervising.
After you know the master of masters and then see him all hooded and without a face again, he really does make the sams movements as him. So crazy if you suddenly know stuff XS
My guess is that he’s seen first hand what “No Name” is capable of in the possession of MoM. Therefore Luxu knows he shouldn’t mess around too much with someone else who can wield it like him lol
Vuxsten yellow eyes is sign of darkness being dominant it’s a step away from being consumed and turning into a Heartless which has yellow eyes So when we first met Braig, he was first given Dark Powers At Keyblade Graveyard he gotten stronger at price from being that much closer to losing his heart It’s why Xehanort’s eyes, which wasn’t always Yellow If you seen him at hit youth especially at Chess Cutscenes Master Xehanort was able to not being consumed because of his strong heart as a Keyblade Master and will Braig while keeping his true identity a secret still took a risk by accepting the powers of darkness to play his part as Xehanort’s stooge Nevertheless he might have had same resistance as him being a far older Keyblade Master than Xehanort was in reality
Not exactly. Yellow eyes are a sign of someone who got possessed by Xehanort but can also mean that person fell beyond repair to the darkness. Riku in KH1 and CoM didn't have yellow eyes despite having dark powers.
Soul6 that’s because Riku was still recent to darkness and still has a powerful light in him, as he wasn’t completely evil then, as shown as how he was able to resist Ansem for a bit after Sora became a Heartless Xehanort as a young man didn’t have yellow eyes neither, especially in his days at Scala Ad Caelum Or Terra when he was giving into darkness, especially becoming dark enough to defeat Master Xehanort Master Xehanort as yellow eyes at all because he’s deeply rooted in darkness Yellow eyes resemble Heartless eyes, meaning they’re close in being heartless true in KH III the Organization Members did have yellow eyes when they’re in Replica bodies and given Xehanort heart fragments to make them Seekers of Darkness and bound to Xehanort, but the yellow eyes was simply a sign of becoming like Xehanort, who’s already blackened by darkness But Vanitas was born with Yellow eyes (in novels it’s said he was born with no face and red heartless eyes until Ventus and Sora connected giving Vanitas Sora’s face ) because he’s a being born of darkness like a Heartless And each of the Nobody members of the Original Organization XIII has contrasting eye colors despite each was meant to be Xehanort’s vessel, only Xemnas, Braig, and Saïx have yellow to amber eyes The first 6 members, not counting Isa and Lea who were later additions, of the Organization were Ansem’s apprentices that was corrupted by darkness by Terranort before he banished Ansem, besides Xigbar/Braig and Saïx/Isa none of them had yellow eyes It shows that darkness has levels of influence and those that had yellow eyes are the most strongest Besides online sources support both explanations
Square/Disney cast James Patrick Stuart as Xigbar in the English version of KH2 not really knowing the character was going to become a whole lot more important later on. I think if they had known, they possibly would have cast someone else. While in the Japanese dub, he's voiced by Hōchū Ōtsuka who is a vastly more prolific voice actor and tends to play roguish characters (he's truly got the voice for it). I do have to give James come considerable credit for his voicing of Xigbar. He's doing a terrific job to the character.
So I believe there's been a theory that Luxord may be MoM (or have the closest ties to him or sth), especially with that Re:Mind trailer out. But one thing I find a bit ironic about that is that Luxord has a similar name to Luxu (phonetically) while Xigbar talks very much like MoM. Even with the ending of KH3 revealing Xigbar as Luxu, which makes enough sense given what we're given, I can't help but be a little skeptical.
It’s implied to be about a millennium from the time of the Keyblade War to the time of Birth by Sleep. I don’t think Luxu would’ve sounded so lonely in the KH3 Report if all he had to wait was the length of one lifetime. Plus a whole civilization had to rise and fall, and Yen Sid had to have been active and retired by then. Regardless, I love this compilation, stellar job! It’s cool to look back with hindsight at all the Braig/Xigbar cutscenes.
Here’s the best part, you guys ready for it?........ *Xigbar’s twin guns is Luxu’s Keyblade transformation* (obvi not confirmed but the thought of seeing him lock those together to reveal to sora who he really is has me foaming at the mouth lol)
Golden Boy true but Luxu was a foreteller too, so i’m assuming/ guessing that he has his own individual one before he received “no name”. imagining him unveiling it in that way.... oh lawdy. i accept the fact that however you try and piece this, i’m probably wrong. but goddamn that’d be so amazing
@@JackkChaos It still wouldn't make sense considering he said if he had a keyblade the fight would have had a different outcome. Clearly he wanted one but couldn't use one.
Golden Boy dude it was just a cool idea i want to see who cared lol don’t take this shit so seriously. and Luxu has always been about following through with his mission and act since he was Braig , regardless of what happens, to fulfill the masters plan. He still had to foresee how xehanort’s plan unfolded, still had to bring the rest of the Foretellers back, why would reveal his grander plan when he wasn’t even able to finish the phase right before it?
holy shit.. thanks to your video I remembered something that might be something huge in the future. The MoM to Luxu at the start of the video: "So that makes you the indisposable number seven." "You six plus me is seven." From the part of the Epilogue you didn't include, Xeanorth to Eraqus, when Eraqus sets up the new game: "Seven black pieces." I wondered why some of the black pieces had the symbols of the foretellers, I wasn't sure about all of them though. After realizing this I went back and checked the symbols. Out of the seven pieces five definitely had the symbols of the five foretellers, so I assume the other two must be Luxu and the MoM. Will they be the major antagonists of future KH games?
Wait… I just realized something. In order for no name to be mounted on the wall when xehanort was training at scala, wouldn’t that mean luxu was posing as one of the instructors? How did that key get to scala? We know luxu knew to start hanging around xehanort for one reason or another, likely because he was keeping an eye on no name, but for him to do that at scala he’d have to be either posing as a student, possibly one of the seniors that go missing at the beginning of dark roads, or he’d have to be one of the teachers. It also raises the question of if luxu was the one to actually pass down no name to xehanort in the first place, also rises the question of how long of a time gap there really is between scalas construction and xehanorts being taken to destiny islands…. It could be that those islands just had a different flow of time until the world gets eaten by the darkness and after that it synced up with the rest of the worlds. But still…. It’s so odd…
Lmao this guy's VA signed on to be a side character back in 2006 and now is one of the central antagonists with no end in sight for the franchise.

"Oh know that very well."
Luxu : Oh my god...... What bullshiet my master inject in this poor soul brain
20:41 I just love the way he says “oopsie daisy” it’s been ingrained in my head for a decade
You hate it? I think it's neat.
Xigbar is basically Kingdom Hearts' Ocelot
@@CardCaptorDeadpool Meow'r
(BTW, it's spelled "coup", not "cu", as in coup d'état/cuu-dei-tah)
I’ll take a stab at the why. I’m thinking that he wanted the Organization weak so that Xemnas could be taken out by Sora, allowing for Master Xehanort to actually return. This, in turn, allows for the clash to occur, and then Luxu regains The Gazing Eye/No Name.
This is my guess, anyway.
He's pretty much been directing everyone to their somewhat proper places.
Cody's got it covered imo
@@Myros59 Plus we see Master of Masters in the secret ending and Master of Masters is a separate chess piece from Luxu.

Facts. He was projecting.

A lot of that happens. For example, Ansem Seeker of Darkness declares darkness is the heart true esssence. Young Xehanort declares the same in the Toy Box world. Or when Xemnas declares Xion is the more worthy vessel. Xion is a vessel in the Keyblade War in three.
at 8:59, there's added context of both of the characters being far older than they appear to be
To think there was a forgotten time where that surfer-dude was one of the foretellers, and the other was a young Union Leader.
Though Luxu's been around for centuries taking different bodies, but its still him underneath it all.
Wouldn't it be interesting if Ven is M.o.Ms secret son? Which is the real reason Venitus has Sora's face.
37:00 Luxu's heart remembering!
I'm thinking that might be a foreshadowing yes. And it worries me, because that means the Riku death flags are not yet gone...
I think it’s foreshadowing Luxu jumping to save MoM, like over time he began to hate MoM for giving him that role.
Looking back on these scenes, I think Xigbar/Braig was legitimately surprised to see No Name in Xehanort's possession. In that moment, however, he quickly realized who Xehanort was--the Chosen One--the person he'd been waiting for.
How has this dude been in the series for less than an hour and yet is the oldest character who's been around since 2005?

@@ayyachriswhere is this chat from ?
Actually, we have never met Braig or Xigbar, just Luxu. The Secret Reports by Luxu states Braig pretended to desire the No NameKeyblade to become Xehanort's subordinate. That happens before Master Xehanort and Braig meet in BBS. So we never meet the real Braig.
All these references right under our noses.
With all these cutscenes, I know what is in that box. It should have been obvious from the moment I saw that box. KH III made it clear with all the talk about the puppets and hearts, especially since Re:Mind kept bordering on that specific topic. That's what's in the box.
"That makes me the real keyslinger, if you catch my drift." - Braig to Terra
Also soon after, in the next cutscene he appears in, he got the yellow eye.
That's where he'll find his 'other friend'." - Xigbar to Zexion
In fact the whole conversation he's talking about what happened to Xehanort, Terra, Aqua and Ventus in the Keyblade graveyard. He even states the plan of Xemnas, what, where and who they will find in Castle Oblivion, before even going to it.
- If I were just any old dude. 'Cept I'm not. I'm with the organization. Nothing 'any old' about me." - Xigbar to Sora and gang
"Maybe he'd like a hand to determine his fate." *Shows card to Demyx* - Luxord in Where Nothing gathers
This is the same card he gives to Sora near the end of KH III.
Followed by:
"Why would I ever take advice from you?
As If! You don't have any choice but to follow this sweet little trail of bread crumbs. And in the end you'll what destiny has in store for you. In fact, your reward might be right around the corner. You're so close!" - Sora to Xigbar, while Xigbar continues laying it out to Sora.

At Keyblade Graveyard he gotten stronger at price from being that much closer to losing his heart
It’s why Xehanort’s eyes, which wasn’t always Yellow If you seen him at hit youth especially at Chess Cutscenes
Master Xehanort was able to not being consumed because of his strong heart as a Keyblade Master and will
Braig while keeping his true identity a secret still took a risk by accepting the powers of darkness to play his part as Xehanort’s stooge
Nevertheless he might have had same resistance as him being a far older Keyblade Master than Xehanort was in reality
@@christophersanchez7731 oh okay thanks !
Not exactly. Yellow eyes are a sign of someone who got possessed by Xehanort but can also mean that person fell beyond repair to the darkness. Riku in KH1 and CoM didn't have yellow eyes despite having dark powers.
Soul6 that’s because Riku was still recent to darkness and still has a powerful light in him, as he wasn’t completely evil then, as shown as how he was able to resist Ansem for a bit after Sora became a Heartless
Xehanort as a young man didn’t have yellow eyes neither, especially in his days at Scala Ad Caelum
Or Terra when he was giving into darkness, especially becoming dark enough to defeat Master Xehanort
Master Xehanort as yellow eyes at all because he’s deeply rooted in darkness
Yellow eyes resemble Heartless eyes, meaning they’re close in being heartless
true in KH III the Organization Members did have yellow eyes when they’re in Replica bodies and given Xehanort heart fragments to make them Seekers of Darkness and bound to Xehanort, but the yellow eyes was simply a sign of becoming like Xehanort, who’s already blackened by darkness
But Vanitas was born with Yellow eyes (in novels it’s said he was born with no face and red heartless eyes until Ventus and Sora connected giving Vanitas Sora’s face ) because he’s a being born of darkness like a Heartless
And each of the Nobody members of the Original Organization XIII has contrasting eye colors despite each was meant to be Xehanort’s vessel, only Xemnas, Braig, and Saïx have yellow to amber eyes
The first 6 members, not counting Isa and Lea who were later additions, of the Organization were Ansem’s apprentices that was corrupted by darkness by Terranort before he banished Ansem, besides Xigbar/Braig and Saïx/Isa none of them had yellow eyes
It shows that darkness has levels of influence and those that had yellow eyes are the most strongest
Besides online sources support both explanations
Master Xehanort, his older self, had amber eyes.

Xigbar: Aren't you making it a little too obvious?
Xigbar, the last time he was on screen: May your hear--
"Braig" always makes it obvious. Just as the Master wanted...
22:43 *OMG DID Y'ALL CATCH THAT??!!* Think back to KH3 where Luxord gave Sora that Wild Card to turn the tables of his fate!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😱😱😱😱😱😱
Oh my God, you are right... Idk if Nomura did this on purpose, tho
Goodness Gracious! Nomura you FREAKING SLY FOX! :O
Best character in the series.
Mexgar again right on the money. He waited Centuries
21:05 Lol I love this guy.
Here’s the best part, you guys ready for it?........
*Xigbar’s twin guns is Luxu’s Keyblade transformation*
(obvi not confirmed but the thought of seeing him lock those together to reveal to sora who he really is has me foaming at the mouth lol)
No, it isn't. Xigbar specifically said if he had a keyblade it'd be different in KH3 after he lost.
His keyblade is the one Xehanort has been using. He passed it down and was simply waiting for its return to him.
38:38 that’s exactly what Sora does at the end lol
Zephyr360 😈foreshadowing
I ficking love how sassy he is
Imma be real this is obe of my fav videos thank you so much i listen to this on repeat sometimes
21:28 - Luxu literally just teased the REmind DLC for KH3 HOLY SHITE!!!! :O
Me fleeing from my problems like: 6:58
holy shit.. thanks to your video I remembered something that might be something huge in the future.
The MoM to Luxu at the start of the video:
"So that makes you the indisposable number seven."
"You six plus me is seven."
From the part of the Epilogue you didn't include, Xeanorth to Eraqus, when Eraqus sets up the new game:
"Seven black pieces."
I wondered why some of the black pieces had the symbols of the foretellers, I wasn't sure about all of them though. After realizing this I went back and checked the symbols. Out of the seven pieces five definitely had the symbols of the five foretellers, so I assume the other two must be Luxu and the MoM. Will they be the major antagonists of future KH games?
Holy shit. So the foretellers are part of the darkness? Does that mean I’m back cover we are actually doing dark deeds by gathering Lux?
Yes
39:28 He already know what was the destiny for Sora? Still, don't understand what was the gift.
Sora disappearing because he used the power of waking too much.
Givin me the warm and fuzzies..god i love him
I like how you made your grand return with this video
Siax just has that look with the 358 cutscene. He looks at xigbar like man I hate you it’s kinda funny. And xigbar knows he can get under his skin.
As if!
35:21 Luxu: Why do you looked so shocked Sora. After all, you planted the idea in his head. Course I can't tell you that.
"About 90 years and a few bodies later"
"About a year later"
I read those in the voice of the French Narrator from Spongebob XD
"Nothing "any old" about me" yeeeah sure 🤣🤣
This is the perfect title! I was wondering how to type it in the search, and you took care of it :)
