There are few pieces of music that have lifted and inspired me as much as this one. It’s hard to put into words. 🥲
The pipe organ is criminally underrated today. This is magnificent!
You said it, Johnathan! So true 🎶
Yes!!
Incredibly powerful stand-alone instrument or ensemble cornerstone. This is so well done!
As someone who has played that organ I can agree entirely
As a pipe organist, I could not agree more.
Richard Elliot loved the opportunity to play with Jon. This is our new favorite song!
What a dream collaboration of two musical geniuses!
This is so pretty 🤩
Do you have any idea of the discipline it takes to make your hands move independently at a fast speed… and the organist was doing both hands and his _feet_ ? He was playing with his _feet_ people! That is some serious skill right there! Round of applause for these guys!!! ❤
You should see the video of one of the Tabernacle Choir organists playing "Go Tell It On the Mountain." The entire first portion of the song is feet ONLY.
@@WigglesMother Yep! That Richard Elliott's Go Tell It. Same organist here!
@@andrewstaten Ah, hadn't noticed!
Oh wow!!
@@WigglesMother same organist. Richard is INCREDIBLE!
This is going to be played in Heaven by these two maestros… NO doubt!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
That's exactly what I was thinking!
I was also wondering if they planned this a little before? 😉
I've played Waterfall thousands of times for my kids. They call it the "running song" because they love running around the house while I'm playing it. This just gave me goosebumps! It's so awesome! My dad plays the organ, maybe he could learn the organ part! That'd be awesome. Thank you Jon!
This is utterly delightful to listen to, the organ really adds a beautiful extra layer
Exquisitely BEAUTIFUL (HANDS, FEET AND MIND) WHAT GREAT TALENT SHARED. THANK U BOTH
This is Jewelene Child, not Lorinda. I'm her Mother
Jon, your teenage self probably never imagined you would ever play with an organist from The Tabernacle Choir! I got goosebumps as I listened! Thank you for putting this collaboration together. Do some more!!
I think Dr. Elliott probably never imagined he’d play with Jon Schmidt from The Piano Guys. I’m not LDS, but I’ve admired both these artists for years, and to hear them play together brings an emotion only God could understand.
Oh. Oh, wow. Waterfall is probably my favorite Piano Guys song and the Organ is probably my favorite instrument because it's so grand. This was incredible.
Not 'Piano Guys' song Jon Schmidt wrote this in the 1980s.
How beautiful. Applause, applause to both musicians!!!!!!!!!
I'm just imagining a very young Jon composing this, never imagining that this was where it would lead.
I just came in from the garden… planted peppers in the dark, this was such a treat to hear! Beautiful! My heart needed the lift.
As an organist, it would be a dream to play alongside either of these talented men!!
I remember John playing this song many years ago before the Piano Guys became famous. It’s awesome to have him perform this piece of music again.
Waterfall was always my favorite piece John composed, and if I’m not mistaken, he composed it at 17 years old! Beautiful to hear it given a new life with the organ . Such an uplifting song :)
Love you guys.....
I love how the organ elevated this beautiful song. Don't get me wrong, I love the song with the standalone piano, but the organ was a surprisingly awesome addition.
It almost looks like Richard is dancing rather than playing an instrument 😮! Also, awesome music ( as always)😊
Best Colab Ever!!!
Richard Elliott's wife was my piano teacher for a year when I was in high school. They were attending Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and they got engaged the year she was my teacher. It has been so wonderful to see the incredible music Richard has created (it looks like his feet are dancing!) over the years! And now, to play a duet with Jon Schmidt (who I discovered in college and I also admire so much) is a match made in heaven! Thank you for making beautiful music that brings joy to my soul!
Wow just amazing song to have the PianoGuys and Richard Elliot on the Tabernacle Organ play together!
Not so easy to get music for organ and piano
which so sounds so overwhelming in church. The synthedis of the two instruments is difficult. And to hear music of our time in that context is very interesting and beautiful. Thank you.!!
Am I the only who wants to see a video of this showing just Richard Elliot’s feet? The little bit where we see them, it’s just insane what he’s doing.
Amazing work as always. I’ve listened to this on repeat several times since it dropped.
The first time I heard Waterfall was summer 2009 at an outdoor concert with Jon surrounded by 1,000 young adults. It's a moment I look back on fondly. Fast forward to August 2022 when there was a special Music & The Spoken Word announced with special guests TPG. My family and I attended the broadcast as guests for the show are rare and the fact that it was TPG. The half hour long performance was wonderful as always. After the broadcast, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square recorded a Christmas song with TPG. It was entertaining to hear the recording engineer tell the choir director (Mack) how to change things around to make each run sound better than the last. Then after all of that a special treat was announced for all those in the audience who stuck around for the hour+ Christmas song recording. When I heard Jon say Waterfall & organ in the same sentence the tears immediately started flowing. My family couldn't understand why I was already crying. By the end of the song they knew why because they were all crying as well. This video must have been filmed later in the day once the Conference Center was empty. I am so glad this was actually recorded and has now been released to the world!
Favorite song got favorite-r. Love the organ, brilliant!
That was awesome. It's always good to see the Piano Guys family expand, and Brother Elliott sure seemed to enjoy it too. Most excellent, thank you for sharing!
There is never enough organ and piano duets ever. There was two organist/pianist is my ward once and they would play joy to the world every christmas and it was by far the best rendition for percussion and they never recorded it
Thank you Jon Schmidt and Richard Elliott!! This is an amazing and fitting setting of this music. I loved listening, getting to watch Jon us always a treat, and watching Richard work was absolutely amazing. They both make it look effortless!
Just one piano guy today
Incredible and very beautiful music 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 🎹🎹🎹🎹
I'm a member of this church, and I think it's really cool to see the Tabernacle Choir so willing to help out with this!!! Beautifully played!
Always loved this piece. So glad it got a little extra organ love. Would love to see it get the full TPG treatment with cello and Al's personal touch.
The need to tune the piano and organ together is no small fete. I've been a piano technician for over 40 years, and I've rarely heard a better balanced duet. Bravo!
I enjoy listening to this one! Music can sure paint a beautiful picture!
Aw that's a beautiful wake up Video. I now got a much better feeling. Thanks my😊
Amazing performance !!! Spirit is definitely strong! I can’t imagine what it must have been like to be in the room when they recorded it
How Fortunate to have the opportunity to play with such an amazing organist! Perfect duo!!
Just listened twice. Fantastic.
Only twice? 🤣 I'm going to listen twice more! 👍
I USED TO PLAY THE ORGAN PLUS THE PIANO, DRUMS AND MORE BUT NOW FOR I JUST TAKE TIME FOR MYSELF AND ENDURE GREAT SOUNDS OF BEAUTIFUL NATURE *****************************AMEN 😍!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤*****!!!!!!

My favorite song from underale
I just realized they did this in the Tabernacle
My favorite - I didn't think it could get better but the organ really enhances it - Love this!! Don't forget to support your local music stores - we're hurtin out here!
I usually really don’t like organ music, but this was a beautiful duet. Two very talented artists at work together. Lovely
That is pure awesomeness
Not only a fabulous performance but a work out as well!
If I were given a vial of fluid granting immortality, I might give it to Richard Elliott. He is just amazing. And huge props to John for composing such a magical piano piece--have loved it for many years.
My 2 favorite musicans together. This is a dream come true to see these perform together. Love it.
I am suprised, this sounds very well with the organ. I like it 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎹🎹
Just Born: two new favorite ‘rock stars’!
What can anyone say except WOW...a real toe-tapper.
I bet the acoustics was amazing...what a great duet..thanks to you both..
It’s enveloping in there. You feel the music as well as hearing it.
Actually, I think the physics might make this quite challenging, merely by the distance between the organ player, the piano player, and the organ. Certainly an incredible performance.
Please, please…
I would love a collaboration of some sort, any sort, between my favorite Mormon artists, The Osmonds and The Piano Guys.
It would just be too awesome.
All man this is so beautiful and so relaxing I really love you'll music 🎶 🎵 I enjoy listening to it it relax me
I am an organist and in awe of this performance! Wow. No words!! Thank you so much. Just amazing.
The video i have been waiting for since The Piano Guys first sent out the tweet! Thank you, The Piano guys for being such wonderful men who love and serve the Lord and help others, like me, to come unto Him!
I never realised how much work was involved in playing the organ with your feet on the pedals. Amazing!
Just when I thought this piece of music couldn't get more soul, you elevated it further! LOVE IT!!
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen! Please do a concert with many more duets between you two!
This was the first song I heard of Jon’s that made me love his music. This performance was majestic and splendorific! Thank you so much. This song touches my heart in ways that words cannot describe.
WOW!! STUNNING!!!😃🥰 What a Joy!!!😃🤗🥰😃😃😃💗💞💝💖 You two are AMAZING!!!❤❤❤
One of the most amazing things to me is that neither has sheet music. They are both playing this beautiful duet from memory. Amazing!
How beautiful this is 💜
I can officially die happy. I have been listening to this song for almost 2 decades and has always been a favorite in my life.
My brain's on fire! That's a lot to take in. Amazing!
I love this
Just WOW. Will there be sheet music for this, in a simplified version? We all have goals but not that amount of precision and talent.
The original waterfall song is in his volume 1 collection if that's what you are looking for
Fantastic arrangement with the King of Instruments. Excellent composition.
Wow! Wow! Wow! 3 minutes and 9 seconds of pure goosebumps! No, make that 6 minutes and 18 seconds. My bad. Make that 9 minutes and 27 seconds! Oh wait… I’m still replaying yet again…..
One of my favorite songs from Jon Schmidt ❤️ Organ really made it twice as good!! 🎹
I went to that EFY as a kid, Probably have that CD somewhere.
You don't need the CD anymore. Here it is
Wonderful to see the master musician, Richard Elliott, in a different setting-and get a small glimpse of his personality and enormous talent! Seeing Jon play his energizing composition with Richard on two stunning instruments made my heart smile!!! Thanks SO MUCH!
This will forever be the song that I always remember y’all by. It was the first one I heard!
Thanks, Brother Elliott for making it dance! A jig on an organ is a rare delight!
nice duet, piano guys!
2 of my favorite keyboard artists.
Beautiful, awesome. You are the best.
This is so moving and gorgeous. Love it.
I love the blue lighting on the organ pipes making them look kinda waterfall-y.
Wow! That was awesome! Love the pipe organ and the piano together! What a great sound! 🥰💖🎹 Bravo to you both! 👏🥰🤩💖
The talent! Wow! Thank you.
神アレンジ😍😍
sooo happy to listening this arranged track that is one of my most favorite pianoguys' tune!
涙が出るくらい素敵なデュエットバージョンでした〜👏👏👏
Oh my... Love Organ, totaly, from my children times...
I wish to thank ( The Piano Guys ) for sharing this awesome music video with me .
Wow! Now that’s GOD gifted talent.
Hihetetlen!
Thank you, Jon Schmidt and Richard Elliott for your collaboration, musical talents in bringing such amazing classical pieces to life!! You are great examples to all who love music❤!!!
Piano = Waterfall
Piano and Organ = Heavenly Waterfall
Fastest 3 minutes of my life. What a wonderful performance!
The result of many years of work hard and willpower, how much I love them!!!
Love the foot work 🥰🇬🇧
I had no idea the organ had that much footwork involved. That’s insane 🤯 absolutely incredible
This is exactly what I needed this morning. Thank you.
I've loved this song for 20+ years! With the organ added, it's 🤯🤯🤯
Most enjoyable! Thanks, chaps!
So great! I’d love o see the Piano Guys and the choir/organists/orchestra do more together. This was so fun! How about something with the bells?!
Remember this from the concert at Vivint / Delta Center - been waiting for this release. Simply amazing.
So Joyful! These men seem to dance as they give us the music!🥰
Keep working nd you must always believe that the rhythms, you can create soothe another feelings.
