Rest in Peace to Roberto Clemente (1934-1972). I would’ve had him as the best 70s player. Sad to see his career and life cut short by a plane crash. He will forever be remembered in the MLB Hall of Fame
For 2000's, it has to be Barry Bonds. You could've gone to MLB The Show 17 for him. They don't have a card with his actual name because he did not allow them to. However, they made him Reggie Stocker
In 2003, Bonds withdrew from the MLB Players Association licensing agreement because he felt independent marketing deals would be more lucrative for him. Because of this withdrawal, his name and likeness are not usable in any merchandise licensed by the MLBPA so they would have to deal with him to have his name in. For this reason, he does not appear in some baseball video games, forcing game-makers to create generic athletes as replacements.
Just like Pete Rose holds the record for career hits but because of his bets they won't acknowledge him in games as career hits leader due to him being banned from the MLBPA.
For 80’s you could’ve done Don Mattingly, In 84 he won the batting title, in 85 he won AL MVP, 9 gold gloves, 3 silver slugger awards. A great player and my dads favorite player of all time.
Unpopular opinion but Miguel Cabrera is one the most underrated hitters to step in the box. He won a Triple Crown and nearly a 2nd ring in 2012.. he has a career batting average above .300 3000+ hits 1600 + RBIS 508 homers.. People have him way back in the list. To me he’s one of the greatest all round hitters ever, as he could hit bombs both ways without juice or Peds, Simply injuries kept him back from his prime.
day 2 of asking to do Playing until I lose, But every game the deficit gets bigger in the Show 23 (idea from Yoboypizzas Madden 23 Playing until I lose, But every game the deficit gets bigger)
To the Babe Ruth comment, the Old Yankee Stadium was the house Babe Ruth built, so yeah he played there, same with Lou Gehrig, and Mickey Mantle...the new one didn't exisit till 09
@@TheBaseballGauntlet Not particularly. They played at the Polo Grounds when the giants were in New York. before then, Hiltop park, which probably wouldn't be in any game. They got kicked out. But that had a 290 pols and 500 foot center field

It’s obv shohei otahni no question. If judge replicated his 2022 season in 2021 and 2020 then maybe but otahni has been dominant the last 3 years both hitting and pitching
Babe Ruth hit a homerun in the stadium that his yankee teams played in lol hence why they call it the house that Ruth built before that they played for a little bit in the polo grounds
Jackie wasn’t really a great baseball player as the others, he was good but he is mostly well known for breaking the color barrier but definitely not the best

Mike Schmidt is CRIMINALLY underrated by most fans.

Yeah I wasn’t thinking about stocker. Bonds didn’t play much second half of 2000 tho

Yeah if he was in the show he’d have an argument
Reggie stocker

@Quadtiger556 from what I found it said he was outright banned from any mlb video game because of his cheating scandal
i can't tell you my anger when you sail pullhos instead of pujols when you were going the 2000's
I can’t pronounce his last name right
Lowkey annoyed the fuck out of me lol
I was scrolling through the comments waiting for someone to say something about that
@@TheBaseballGauntletPOO-holes.
"You guys think Schmidt is Underrated?" As he blasts an absolute swamp donkey into low earth orbit.
im happy he went back to get the "no doubt" animation from Ken Griffey Jr. so beautiful
You should make a team with all these players that are available in the show 23
Noted
surprised you didnt do ichiro at 2000s, but albert was real good too. good video!
mike shmidt is majorly under rated nobody ever talks about him and he was one of the best third base men
let’s go mike you were a very good player for the phillys

Mickey mantle is better tho

We need hitting a home run with the best player from every year from 2010 to 2023

Yoboypizza goes hard I really like him
We will see!
You hit a home run with Mickey Mantle as Honus Wagner though 😬
Great vid
Great comment
no way you just called him albert pullhose
The fact ty cobb was only in 2 mlb the show games is a crime
I think Mike Schmidt is underated
Valid
Great video
Thanks!
@@TheBaseballGauntlet No problem
This video led off with Honus Wagner. I'm very disappointed the next two weren't Cap Anson and Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown.
Did he say pulhos? 😂😂😂

Yeah I always pronounce it wrong
what teeam is mcg?
Mike = underrated
Nice vid
Nice comment
Joe morgan was the best player of the 1970s imo. but his teammate bench was great to.
Eddie Murray: “Am I a joke to you..”
Tomorrow can you please do hitting a home run with Joc Pederson in every MLB the show that he had been in
You should make a team of all the home run derby champions plus you have to win a home run derby to unlock 99 babe Ruth in the show 23
Doing a home run derby video Tuesday!
You forgot the 1800’s blud
I was going to ask why you didn't use Crosley Field when hitting with Bench until I remembered Bench was too young to have played at Crosley.
How did you get honus wagner?
Is he just in the Groundbreaker?
1940s has to be Jackie robinson
Imagine choosing Mike Trout and Albert Pujols over the last person to win a triple crown.
For me 2020s is Aaron Judge, but anyway good video 😊
Thank you but I’ll go ohtani
He had 1 good year
Both equally good but judge got that homerun record over ohtani
@@jeffritchie213show his pitching stats
I’m surprised there was no Bryce Harper in this video
Trout owned the 2010s
@@TheBaseballGauntlet yeah
Trout is better, Bryce young is at least 2nd or 3rd best in the 2010s
@@Sgtalex-iv6eo yeah I agree trout in those years were insane
So no Rickey Henderson?
honestly, for the 1960's, shouldve had Aaron hitting in Milwaukee. ha
Wait no arod or Ricky Henderson or Derek jeter
Where was chipper jones?
I agree Ohtani ngl

Mike Schmidt kind of looks like a Dr.Disrespect

I think you could have gotten chipper jones in that 90s or 2000s era but I don’t hate the pick
Ronald acuna .jr
Yannkes nations own this list
They should add all time teams for each team with all their best players
Agreed
For 70s you should have used a created player Pete rose in the vault
albert pole hose LOL
something about looking at ty cobb makes me feel weird. I don't know what it is.
Where is the say hey kid
I guested ken Griffey jr first home run distance (403)FT
MLB The Show 23 had the Angels in the wrong dugout.
We need ichiro as a 99 overall legend as well as pete rose
Honus Wagner was playing in the 1890s
I saw 1905
Why does Ty Cobb hold a bat like that?
Not sure lol
Ty Cobb used a split grip because it gave him more barrel control but killed his power but it didn’t matter because he was a contact hitter
Bluds on beginner 💀
Thats not the point of the video lol. I haven't lost an online game this year so send the challenge

I respect it
I would say he’s up there but Ohtani will always be number one he’s argued to be the greatest of all time right now
Mike Schmidt is underrated
The goat babe Ruth
For the 2020, I would put judge. I personally think he’s better. Pls don’t get mad at me, I’m just stating my opinion

Tony Gwynn one of the GOATS
Tony Gwynn a great but not that much power
Where is judge
Ohtani better
Houso the goat wager
where is Jackie Robinson
he was really good and a revolutionary player, but he wasn’t greatest of all time good

Fun fact: babe Ruth first played for my Red Sox before joining the yanks
Aaron Judge best player active even I’m a Mets fan
Nahhh and I am a yanks fan
shohei is definitely better
Where the hell is miggy
I feel like around 2028 it will go from ohtani to de la cruz
It could!
Um I would put Willie Star gel for 1970s
Where’s Jackie Robinson
Where’s derek jeter and Aaron judge
90s could've been Tony Gwynn tbh
ichiro
WHERE IS HE
He’s not in mlb the show and even so puljols is better
No Reggie Jackson? Mark McGwire? Barry Bonds?
Barry not in game
where is willie mays
Definitely should have been here if I made my own list
Schmidt’s best years were split between the 70’s and 80’s and so he wasn’t the best player of the 80’s. George Brett was
