oh man cant imagine the joy driving the audi r8. But driving it after YOu repaired it must be another level ! Greetings from Ireland. Say Pozdrav to Miroslav as well !
I just want to say the level of effort you put in to the editing of your videos is probably similar to the amount of physical effort you put in the actual servicing and repairs of your customers cars. You change the music up in a lot of the videos and your explanations and time lapses flow really well. Thumbs up. Thank you watching in my 1.8T A4 2009 160bhp
I love this channel, I run my own garage and work hard like you guys, I'm always inspired watching your videos, your work ethic is brilliant, I've recently found your video's and can't stop watching!
Nothing wrong with owning an Audi, as long as you're the first owner, and keep up with all servicing and, maintain while you own the vehicle. A lot of issues are caused by other people's negligence. If they can't afford the upkeep, don't buy in the first place.
I’ve owned lots of Audis over the past 25 years & loved them all .all who had been good cars and I found it very satisfying to own them ,currently on a 2017 Audi allroad sport model with sport Tronic and 3.0v6 tdi absolute dream to own drive I haven’t found a car that can rival all this you can get videos on any brandWhich will put you off I suppose.
@SalimKhan-gk1fh My dad had a C6 Quattro V6 TDI 7 years ago, and I remember that car was a beast, so much power and acceleration. It was incredible really for a daily driver! But once he fuelled from a dodgy gas station and had to replace all of the injectors after 500 km, and the dash was a Christmas light show. So yeah, maintenance and fuel used are crucial.
I can imagine what do you guys feel when the car which was running bad becoming to work as it should after the repair... Kind of pleasure after the job done well. You're great! Keep doing the awesome things!
About 15 yrs ago I rebuilt a couple of Porsche boxsters, both had the same problem of overheated engines/gasket failures. They were bas---ds to work on had to drop the engine/transmissions out from the underneath, no four post lifts, just, jacks, wooden blocks and rolling about on the garage floor. We rebuilt a good few engines, and these got the budget rebuild treatment, no huge new parts bill, just the required parts to a minimum- chain guides, head and blocks gasket skim, the usual stuff, hot pressure washing everything, including the blocked oil coolers. The first 2.7 car when finished was fantastic, I thrashed it daily and it loved it,- sold, on to the next, a 3.2S, this one had every plastic part melted or distorted it'd gotten that hot, same budget treatment secondhand parts, loctite 5900 silicon gasket back up. It needed rings, way too expensive from porsche so I found a perfectly sized and material alternative at a tenth of the price, cadillac northstar V8 +.020. Somehow on the engine rebuild even though I knew to be careful I managed to get one of the cams 180 degree out of phase, luckily on start up I caugt it early and no damage was done but it all had to come out and be redone, but I'd had enough by then. The engine again was brillient, but I could'nt bring myself to hammer it like the first, the thought of doing it all again was too much. Sold it, saw the purchaser some time later, still had it ,loved it. Long story, happy days.🙂
93’ UrS4 and 87’ 4Kq CS owner here. What has been inflation like on all the parts the last few years? Audi has so many models the logistics must be mind boggling - I would imagine the majority of parts produced in China what happens when BRICS decides to take over everything once and for all?
I missed on the part 1 video why V10 mileage is relatively higher (wear & tear wise) than normal engines. Is it to do with stress or something? This is some car. Thank you.
I'm surprised that the owner of the car allowed you to do the driving the end. I myself never have liked that mechanics drive my cars, too much of a risk.
you are confused by facts: you are the one who makes damage on car , he is the one who repairs damage you made, so how can he make damage when he knows how not to make damage and how to repair
Thrashing it - you refer to it in the video as “vehicle abuse “ in the preview to the next video. There’s a difference between a road test and a joy ride. If you’ve cleared this with the owner then fine.
All modern VAG cars are. On some models like the mk7 Golf R facelift RS3 they went with direct injection and port injection for emissions but went back to purely DI later on.
Trust me, you don't want to remove the engine... It's a nightmare... I have done it some time ago, and it wasn't fun at all... Huge task and a lot of parts removing!!! 🥲

Nice work guys! The more I watch your videos, the more I am put off buying an Audi 😂😂😂
same here. But there is a pattern. V8's seem to dominate, RS line is also a popular guest on the channel.

Audi's really are shite; all VAG cars are.

That is A LOT of work to get to the PCV membrane 😮
I find these videos compelling and hypnotic, and I dont even own a VAG car - I have a F56 MCS.
More I watch, more I’m sure I want to bring my car to you guys in the future 👌
vag destiny is that you will sooner(expensive) or latter(more expensive) have to bring your car to repair shop
Your videos are so great to watch because the music changes, not the same damn music every time like many youtubers do

A Tavarish and VAG Technic video on the same day? Heaven! Good work guys, I'm not worried about my B9 S4 at all... :)
Tavarish is a lame clown
Nice drive through the Horse Shoe Pass in Llangollen
I wish your shop was in the US! My S5 4.2 has a bent rod (hydrolocked) and I can't find anybody in this country willing to rebuild it.
Enjoying you vag cars content I have a rs3 8Y hopefully soon I can visit your workshop for some work/service/modifications
Those unblocked intake ports while you work make me twitchy
That's not a criticism by the way, just a worry
You make these videos so entertaining
excellent timing to end the day!
That car looked like it had a hard life and badly maintained till vag sorted it out ❤
Great video, thanks.
Great update 👍🏻 what’s happening regarding the B8 RS4 ?
what tool did you use to turn the engine? when doing the carbon build up removal. or did you just turn the key for a second to close the vavles
What was the way to remove the VVT sensor on the drivers side? Did you have to remove the intake?

A lot of prices doubled or even tripled compared to a few years ago.
Most anticipated episode yet. Only part of me was hoping you’d find something else wrong to fix (not mouse crap) 😂
I wanna get my c7 a6 sent to you guys so bad lol. All the way from the us
Really enjoy your vids

Great result good content cheers
Nice work lads 👏🏽👏🏽
well done chaps great job 👍👍
great vid great watch
Drop the engine?
Would it not make sense to do the oil cooler gasket whilst there?
Nice job.
Kua chlapy... uz by to chcelo slovenske video😉
I’m loving your videos guys so professional, never buy 1 of these Audi,s these engines are expensive junk 👎
I still want an old Audi 80 lol.
Sounds beautiful, but at a pretty price.
Why are all modern vehicles made of marmalade and plastic...???
Think ill stick to my 1994 S2
the R8 is nice
.
.
.
but the camera girl is nicer , bet she causes less bother too.
I get antsy if there's a cobweb in my car's engine bay, and this one has mouse shit in it!
It had more than mouse shit - full of sand and dust and most of all neglect.
How much time would you have saved if you removed the engine?
More time to remove and same time amount to do what we done once is out
So, better to remove engine? Or fix it in place?
Lol not educated. Your both wizards. Nice video again
id only buy an audi if you guys maintain it :-)

No warranty otherwise if it can’t be tested

Like what ?

@@highdefp-rm7zg mid range rpm is trashing 😂 ? Should have just leave it idling in front of petrol station .
Longtime no update
Two days ago 😀
@@VAGTechnic my youtube sub column doesn't show ur video for a long time
Is that a GDI engine, twas very carboned.

Same with my 07 octavia i think, read somewhere they tried GDI then went back to port injection.@@Mac_F87
Are you polish?
🇸🇰
Good timing :)
😀🤌
Yep just got to bed...I prefer working on my Passat break
The carbon buildup in the intakes is obnoxious!
9/10 yon need to yank the engine for surgery
Anyone else think this car has not been taken care of?
11 owners , which one had time to take care of it ? 😀
@@VAGTechnic lol, maybe one of them took it to the car wash once - before they let a mouse shite in it
14:20 nice
Ill take the avant over the R8
2:32 ha ha, that car is like monte carlo, you have to have milions in bank to be able to have that car/to live there
More i watch more I stay away from Audi😅
I look at all that crap soon to be brittle plastic pipework...micro air leaks to find for someone.
I'm impressed that all the spares could be sourced. Those parts would be on forever backorder in the US.
Trust me, you don't want to remove the engine... It's a nightmare... I have done it some time ago, and it wasn't fun at all... Huge task and a lot of parts removing!!! 🥲
