Mine is currently in a Tesla Approved body shop for a windshield replacement. It’s not my job sector and I checked youtube because I was just curious to see what the operation looks like. Thank you for that interesting video. It’s good to see it’s done in a very professional manner with the right tools.
Did you pull the wire track off of the glass and just leave it loose up in the headliner? You do not mention the ultra small Philips screws that hold the circuit board on. I find it easier to leave the camera and covers on the glass and remove as an assembly, you just have to drop the A pillar mldg inside and unplug 3 plugs. It is the way easier to do all you swap over of parts and not have to work with small screws above your head. Ycats
This will probably be an odd question. But are there different quality windshields available? Mine cracked and it is super thin and looks like a single layer of glass. That to me just doesn't look safe I can push from under the crack and the windshield moves
Hello Aman Donyoi know how I can determine what windshield plugs I have? I am purchasing windshield on my own but need to match the plugs up however I have no idea where to look.
I appreciate for publishing these video. It was very helpful for me. God bless.

tack för din ösikt!! Jag tycker att det är lättare att göra på de sett som jag gjorde. det är jätte smidigt.
He didn't want to show that he just stuffed the wires back in there. Nice job, besides that hack part.
Did you replace the humidity sensor? Or you just transferred? If you did did you had to reprogram camera calibration?
Perfect job , thank you.
Is any additional camera calibration required after replacing the windshield on a Tesla without parking sensors?
Great video, thanks man!
Appreciate this 💪🏽

Not all the windshield places can do this task. Need specially skilled technicians can do this.
Great.👍🏾
