This is legit a masterpiece in horror. It's my favorite horror short film of all time and one of my favorite short films in general. I really wish it would become a full film.

This is the best thing to come out of huluween.
I remember watching The Rizzle a long time ago, and I found it the most creepy thing ever. But now I just wanna get the original clip, send it to a friend anonymously, and at night, and when he does watch it, at 3 AM, wake him up with a noise, while playing The Rizzle music at loud, and run up to him looking like The Rizzler (that's what I'm calling the monster)
Same, really sad it didn't win the festival. Would have made for a great movie. I think the Carved won out of the 8 Huluween shorts.
Make sure you say "it's Rizz'n time!" and proceed to Rizz all over them. It'll be so epic.🤣

Nice little subject the short, familiar but outside the box. I really like how the girl didn't do anything wrong or showed any horror movie stupidity that I think gets thrown around too casually. What she did was see a video and imitate it. Anyone could've done the same... she didn't do anything dumb she just fell into a trap. Kinda sad more than scary

What happened to her when the Rizzle man jumped her? Did she get brain washed and put into the video like nothing happened? Did the Rizzle dancer take her form? I NEED TO KNOW
I think pretty much what happens is this is a type of limbo to where when you do the the rizzle you are pretty much allowing yourself to take the place of who ever is forced into control until you are freed by an unsuspecting viewer. Pretty much its like how im the prequel annabelle when the parents allowed what they thought was Annabelle into the doll. So to summarize, the "rizzle" is a dance to where if u do it you become trapped into limbo and forced to dance until someone does your dance and takes your place

So basically if you get captured by the person in the video and then get trapped in the vid, you have to wait until someone else tries the dance and when they do you capture them freeing yourself and it's all a loop? I'm guessing she won't be free in a long time since not many people are interested in the oldies.

So much left unanswered. Did the demon force her to dance the Rizzle once, film her, and dispose of her, or must she dance on demand every time that someone watches the video? Can she be rescued? Must she find someone to do the Rizzle to take her place? Was the original dancer also a captive who replaced himself with her? If so, does the original dancer feel guilt about using her to take his place? Is the original dancer now free and amazed to be living in the 21st century? Does he own an iPhone now? Was the Rizzle perhaps an ancient mystical dance that eventually found its way onto video sharing? If so, how were victims captured before video sharing? Why did the Rizzle stop in the 1920s? Why make the Rizzle at all if it would not work until video sharing is available 100 years later? Does she miss her family? Does she have family, or does she live alone? Do they wonder where she is, or have they grown accustomed to her losing touch with them? Is she not close to her family? Did she fight a lot with her mom because her mom kept nagging her to do more with her life than watch videos all day and night? Did her family happen to see the video of her on her laptop, and are they now frantically contacting mediums and psychics to free her-or at least give a like to the video? Did her laptop eventually die because it was not plugged in? Does she have any pets who will starve without her there? What's so special about 2:23 a.m.? Why was she alone on a Saturday night? Did she just break up with her boyfriend, and was she viewing 1920s videos as an escape from the bitterness of the breakup? Does she get hungry and bored while waiting for someone to watch the video? How does she spend her time? What would happen if two dancers did the Rizzle at the same time? Or a line dance? Would you still be in the video if you could not dance the Rizzle well? Was her bedroom door ever unlocked? Did the demon damage her floor?
But I guess the biggest question of all is why such a talented actress (Holly Rooth) who gives us such a well-defined character with a full spectrum of emotions, from original joy and carefree fun to curiosity to fear and sadness (the smile she does at the end, as if she were forced to smile, while still seeing the fear and sadness in her face, is especially superb) all without saying a single word and in only four minutes, not in more movies?!
I've just finished watching all the huluween short films, this one is my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE. It's kinda scary as well especially when that Jeff the killer kind of face comes up to the screen. It's got an awesome story as well, that video made her do the rizzle which got the guy in it to be freed. But now she needs someone else to do the rizzle to get her out. I like this more than the hug because the hug is pretty unoriginal since it's basically based off FNAF. But this one is easily the best and most scariest of the bunch.

I agree. It's really hard to find original ideas nowadays that are still scary and can really sell.
Theory: the rizzle is a living entity that traps inspecting victims and the only way the can escape is someone else doing the dance and attacking them, trapping them in the rizzle only for the cycle to continue

One of my faves. Well done. Whole concept is creepy. I liked the music and the dancing but I noticed no choreographer was in the credits.
Kim and Luke BG Steve the dancing man and Holly the girl designed it together - they’re both dancers.
My guess is that this man invented his own dance move and tho it was complex, people didn't approve it and in rejection he killed himself so now hes trying to make his work a slam dunk from beyond the grave
He was trapped and by her doing the dance she freed him now she's trapped and she has to make someone else do the rizzle so she can be freed. I think
