Blueberries!!! Yeah.. Also here in Reggio Calabria. Blue Gold, but oh so good! Thanks for sharing our food choices available here in our little part of the world!
He just said that Palm Sunday is underrated that is so funny because my mother who is long gone, said when she was a little girl back in the 1930s that Easter was the most popular holiday and the least popular was Halloween. Now it's the reverse.
Great video, found your shopping trip to be most useful. I'm planning on retiring in Italy in a year or two, not sure where yet, so familiarising myself with places and costs. Totally enjoying watching you guys!
Another great video, Eszter and Alfred. The produce you showed in the supermarket certainly is cheaper in your neck of the woods. Organic is my preference if I had to choose. Nice coffee bar and quiet area. Easter is a great time of year!! Thank you. Much love 😊❤
Alfred reminds me of my father and uncle's in that hat 😊❤ I would love to know how the rabbit is prepared, especially in Piana delgi Albanese. I am officially a member of your channel now, so I look forward to upcoming videos
That was interesting. The products are almost identical to what we get here in Malta. I think we pay a little more for most things apart from the Rabbit which is a very local dish here (and horse of course). I may be wrong but I think our meat prices are lower than shown here but then I don't remember the costs of most things week to week.
In Australia prices in supermarkets r astronomical, the 2 big supermarkets hv got a duopoly, & they do price gauging, recently the government is looking into it .The prices in Sicily r reasonable & affordable, I’m jealous, in Australia we hv cartels, thanks for the video xoxo
This food store is more expensive then my local food store and farmers market in Pennsylvania Mountains. I get 3 lemons for $1, mushrooms 99c lb, avocados 2 for $1, broccoli $1 head, t-bone or porterhouse steak $6.99 lb, 1 doz eggs, $1.78, snow crab legs $6.99 lb, Italian sausage $3.99 lb, 😊
Food is best in Italy etc.....but soon....just like every other country, you'll be eating nothing but bugs. It's already happening in parts of Italy. Bug's on Pizza now!
Compare to some of the prices from 2 years ago ruclips.net/video/wTj2A2hzWgo/видео.htmlsi=vQQp2d-NJFNe7JQG

At least they have something resembling a napkin. In Singapore, if napkins are even offered, you often have to pay for them!
I was told the the papers on the table at the bar are not really napkins, they're are for holding your pastry.
@davidkimberly4682 well..napkins hold pastry,right? :)

Is there a Sam's or Costco type of store in Sicily? How about Target, Walmart? Curious what stores are similar to the US?
Ciao what area are you and Alfred settled in? My wife enjoyed the video!
Ciao Joe! We are just outside of Catania.
Wow nice voice God bless you ❤❤❤
Dear Madam! I have worked for you before in Fiverr.
