i want a reverse catchup race on fivem where instead of the leaders getting slowed down the backmarkers get increased speed/grip boosts so last place would fly and corner amazingly even with a bad car
I know its an artificial sweetener, but I do enjoy having the variation with catchup :) it keeps the race interesting like anythings possible, in an age when gfred has slowly become predictable after the quarry :P ggs tho mate
Honestly I could see a SafetycarFred out of this One person is by default in a safety car while everyone does the run. Second place can’t overtake the car, but on the second to last checkpoint could serve as like the overtake point? Idk sounds pretty cool imo

And you wonder why some of us viewers get frustrated, and we know youre frustrated too, but we can blame you, you still took the hail mary, youre a human, make your own decisions, why would you listen to chat. Hasnt been a clean hail mary for a while, and that was one of the worst. You said taking the og would be the smart decision, but nope. No logic

Does it even matter what car you have in this race even if you have a 9f the game is going to slow you down if you're ahead and if you're behind in a Regina the game is going to massively speed you up
I still think catch-up is done wrong in this game. Should increase the speed of the backtrackers, not decrease the leader`s speed. Than only people who can handle the extra speed will actually catch up
That's what the new boosted mode already does. I talk at length in the catch-up fact finding video about how it's a useless concept for "catch-up" though.
@broughy1322 Here's a RANDOM IDEA! A RANDOM SCRAMBLE GFRED. EACH PLAYER GETS A DIFFERENT SCRAMBLE. SO IT COULD BE 30 PLAYERS RUNNING 30 DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF GFRED AT THE SAME TIME.
wouldnt be fair since distance travelled will be different and those with the shortest route will easily win plus it would have to be specially made and dev for PH is at a standstill so unlikely

I think the catchup system is a nice mix up but instead of slowing down the better places it should increase the speed of lower places.

Top 5 was definitely possible. I expected some OG parachute routes because the catchup is so powerful that you can barely execute a hail mary.
