Gun cleaner solvent is also excellent for doing this with out the abrasives! 🤩🤩

I have never thought about that. I think why I never thought of using it is cause I don’t have any. But I use Lucas gun lub and m16 lub all the time. Next time I’m out getting freedom seeds. I will get some.

Thanks for the tip. Doublewide6 uses q tip with carb spray in a drill for the seat and then chucks up the needle in the drill and runs it against some high grit sandpaper (1000 grit maybe don't recall) to remove groove in rubber and polish it. Thanks again.

Maroon scotch Brite seems to work really good cause it conforms to the needle. Well that what I like to use.

That is actually how I came up with it. Had to fix it so I could ride the next morning. Along time ago. Now the sled are the true passion.

I does work good… I’ve even used a plain w tip and pulled a lot of nasty stuff out!

Thanks for sharing the tips. Lots of repair videos on your channel,
Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines
and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.
