These Shaolin Monk Shoes are worn throughout the Shaolin Temple by all the monks, but not necessarily for training. They are worn more for everyday use, when carrying out chores and also when teaching. They have a really thick grippy sole, which is great when performing chores, teaching classes and generally walking about. The Shaolin Monks shoes also are great in the Shaolin Temple during winter time, when the ground is icy and slippy the thick sole keep the cold off and super grippy soles keep you upright.
